Powerhouse Display Held Back by a Weak Webcam
I chose the Galaxy Book Ultra to handle a demanding daily workflow of creative media editing, heavy multitasking, and school coursework. The 3K Dynamic AMOLED 2X touchscreen is unquestionably the star of the machine: color accuracy, contrast, and brightness are phenomenal for photo editing and media consumption. Pairing an Intel Core Ultra processor with dedicated RTX graphics provides plenty of horsepower for rendering projects and light gaming without throttling under standard loads. The Samsung ecosystem features like Second Screen, Quick Share, and Multi Control also make working alongside a Galaxy phone or tablet completely seamless.
?However, for a laptop carrying a premium price tag well above $2,000, several key details fall short. The 1080p webcam is mediocre at best—it struggles in low-light environments, introduces heavy digital grain, and lacks both an IR facial recognition sensor for Windows Hello and a physical privacy shutter. Additionally, the RAM is soldered, limiting long-term upgradeability, and the fans spin up quickly under heavy rendering. It remains a capable creative workhorse, but the peripheral hardware should match the luxury price point.

Incredible Display Let Down by a Weak Webcam
I chose the Galaxy Book Ultra as my primary machine for handling heavy creative projects, photo and video editing, and coursework.
?The screen is easily the standout feature. The Dynamic AMOLED panel is bright, sharp, and renders colors with deep blacks and rich contrast that make visual work look stunning. The keyboard is comfortable for long typing sessions, and having dedicated RTX graphics alongside an Intel Core processor means it handles multitasking, timeline rendering, and light gaming without breaking a sweat. If you already use other Galaxy devices, features like Quick Share and Second Screen integrate smoothly.
?That said, for a premium laptop in this tier, the built-in webcam is a major letdown. The 1080p sensor produces noticeably grainy, washed-out video the moment room lighting drops, which looks rough on client calls and meetings. It also lacks an IR facial recognition sensor for Windows Hello sign-in and doesn't provide a physical privacy shutter. On a machine built to compete with top flagship ultrabooks, having to plug in an external webcam just to look clear on camera is disappointing. Aside from the camera and soldered memory, it is a capable, sleek machine, but the peripheral details need work to match the luxury price.

Love my laptop
I’ve been using my Samsung Galaxy Book4 Edge for both personal and school, and it has honestly made multitasking so much easier. The lightweight design makes it easy to carry around, while the battery life lasts through long days without constantly searching for a charger. I use it daily for streaming, online classes, assignments, browsing, and staying organized.
The AMOLED display is beautiful and makes movies and videos look super clear and vibrant. Performance has been smooth and fast, even when I have multiple tabs and apps open at once. I also love the Galaxy AI features because they help make tasks feel quicker and more convenient, especially with productivity and everyday use.
Overall, the Galaxy Book4 Edge feels premium, portable, and reliable. It’s a great laptop for students, work, entertainment, and everyday life.

Ultimate power meets seamless smart innovation
As a professional who demands uncompromising performance from my hardware, the Samsung Galaxy Book 6 Ultra has completely rewritten my expectations for what a premium Windows laptop can achieve. It bridges the gap between raw, desktop-replacement power and ultra-portable luxury flawlessly.
?The integration of the Intel Core Ultra Series 3 (Panther Lake) processor alongside the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 graphics creates an absolute beast of a machine. Multitasking, rendering dense 3D environments, and running complex local AI tasks are remarkably fluid. Thanks to the redesigned vapor chamber cooling and enhanced dual-path outlet fans, it sustains these heavy workloads smoothly without aggressive thermal throttling. The 16-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X touch display is a visual masterpiece. With its crisp 2880x1800 resolution and a fluid 120Hz refresh rate, colors are vibrant, blacks are perfectly infinite, and the new anti-reflective coating ensures total clarity even when working under harsh overhead lighting. Dropping the number pad to center the snappy keyboard and massive haptic trackpad was a brilliant design choice—it drastically improves typing ergonomics and leaves perfect spacing for the booming new six-speaker system.Remarkably, this extreme performance doesn’t destroy the battery. I am consistently blown away by the efficiency; it easily pushes through marathon sessions, and the super-fast charging restores over 60% of the tank in just 30 minutes.

Fast, beautiful screen, well built, love it
I publish a daily email that goes out to several hundred people. I count on AI to ensure that the content is edited properly. It also does some research for me so I don't have to. The images that I add are clear and easy to manipulate using the tools within the product itself. I have used other brands in the past, but I am now using the Galaxy books as my go-to computers.
One of the things that gives me an advantage is how easily it integrates with my Galaxy TriFold. Everything is so much easier with this functionality. I can't imagine living the way I did before I had these tools.

Powerful, Fast, and Perfect for Everyday Use
I chose the Galaxy Book6 Ultra because I wanted a laptop that could handle everything I use a computer for without feeling slow or limiting. So far, I have been extremely happy with it. The display is beautiful, everything runs smoothly, and the laptop feels fast and responsive even when I have multiple programs and browser tabs open at the same time.
I use my laptop for a mix of work and personal use, including emails, documents, web browsing, streaming, photo organization and editing, video editing, and everyday projects. Video editing was especially important to me, and I love having the performance and larger screen to work on videos without everything feeling sluggish or cramped.
I also really like how well it works with my other Samsung devices. Being able to move between devices and have everything work together makes day-to-day use much easier. The performance has been excellent, and it feels like a computer I will be able to use for years rather than something I will quickly outgrow.
Overall, I am very happy I chose the Galaxy Book6 Ultra. It has the performance I wanted, a fantastic display, and plenty of power for everything from everyday work to photo and video editing. So far, it has been a great upgrade and easily earns five stars from me.

Disapointed, mic broken.
Tha laptop feels very nice, I loke it alot exept for some serious problems. (fyi, I recieved 700$($) off, student discount.)
The good:
The build quality is fantastic and I think it looks pretty good, a little boring but good at the same time, I love the two tone keyboard.
The speakers fire upwards so even if you have it sitting on a couch or bed it doesnt get muffled. The speakers are definetly not the best, I had a R(R)OG G14 for 2 years and a zenbook for almost 2 months which both had better speakers but these are decent and good enough for me. (I returned the Zenbook for this hoping for better longterm reliability... Samsung!)
Using this laptop is definitely nicer than my prevous ASUS one mentioned above, this feels snapier and more optimized and refined, I also do not have to mess around with setting nearly as much.
Performance, I am very happy with the performance overall especially while being good on battery life. (Exept in games sometimes, it plays well but occasionaly there are sudden lag spikes, at least in Overwatch.)
The fans are very quiet, though I sometimes hear a weird sound coming from them, like a hair got sucked up or something, idk.
Trackpad is nice and smooth, it is my first haptic and I like it very much, the feedback is nice.
The backlight is dim, and I really like that, I have no use for it unless it is super dark in whick case you dont want a keyboard backlight that will blind you like my ASUS ones did. I use the 60%% brightness which I think is perfect, thought I find that the automatic backlight control turns it on too early, it is bright currently and the backlight is on, I also do not know haw to turn it off, the Samsung settings gives very little control of it. I cant find a windows setting for it either.
There is a second storage slot inside so that you can easily increas the storage wich I love and the preinstalled one is swappable aswell.
_________________________________________________
The bad:
First of all, the microphones on mine do not work whatsoever and support is an absolute mess to navigate.
Secondly the battry life is not as much as I would have expected, its definately not bad but I expected better. Currently I use Microsoft Edge with a whole bunch af tabs open and switching between them doing work for college, im am getting around 8 or a little more hours from 80% charge. I have charge limited to 80%.
Thirdly, I have encountered compatability issues. In solidworks there is a ram problem which I am currently trying to work out with them but I have not had this issue with any of my other computers (aka non Intel computers). Maybe this will become better as time goes on, I have the x7 358H with B390 iGPU. Finding information on the iGPU with things like task manager or other tools for something like it's temps is very hard. Alot of the information is missing.
Sometimes it types two of the same character even though I am pretty sure I am only pressing the key once. I have enclosed some examples in here enclosed in perentheses. Like the second "R" in RROG up above.
The ram usage is obsured, when idle, not doing anything, 16gb of 32gb is being used, all the samsung apps dont help. I am absolutely ware that this is not absolutely Samsungs fault, windows kinda sucks. This does not help the Ram issue I have with solidworks.
Some samsung apps I do not like. Camera share does not seem to do anything and bixby is not very good, it is already a copilot pc just us copilot if you must or "click to do" (windows+trackpad click). And even when I close the apps and turn off run on startup they still open, specifically storage share and nearby devices.
I(I) miss the arrow keys frequently, I would have liked the left and right arrow keys to have been full sized.
The temp of the CPU will jump to over 90C.
The second screen app is extremely laggy and slow, I wish I could use it over wire.
The ports is a bit low, not bad, but it could have had maybe one more usbc on the right maybe.
I like the thinsess but it is not reasuring for temps and durability, a laptop only needs to be so thin, there is a point where it becomes to much and is more of an issue than a feature. There is something nice having a chunkier laptop. Like 3mm thicker?

ALMOST PERFECT!!!
I am a dir hard samsung fan and user, however, at the same time I never purchase a product just for the name itself. I prefer to stay within the Samsung Ecosystem, however, I still diligently and thoroughly review the product before purchasing against all of its competitors. This Samsung Galaxy Book 6 Ultra has proven to be an absolute workhorse with a large bright and Vibrant screen. The largest draw back (for me) is that the screen is not foldable like the book 360's. I truly love the graphics card and monsterous amount of available storage. I play just about an videogane, edit photos, prepare work invoices first my business and anything else that life throws my way. The price was certainly a VERY large concern, considering that I could actually purchase a laptop PC with almost double the specs for a thousand ir more less. Samsung has won my heart and is reliable however so in this case rather Samsung name sold me. Not to mention that I received an $ 1,100 discount for working for an authorized dealer. I do believe that for this price Samsung could certainly throw in a premium stylus and ir padded storage bag.
