Trackpad is back
I can't believe I had to wait up for few months to get this since the other one was mid, it was lacking of trackpad and other cool stuff, but this one really changed the game so I might have to give a second chance.

Terrible design that lacks essential features
The design of this new S11 Ultra Pro keyboard is disappointingly bad, especially when compared to the Book Cover Keyboards from the S8, S9 & S10 Ultra tablets.
For example, this Pro keyboard provides no protection at all for the tablet - it remains completely exposed to the elements.
It also doesn't provide a back-stand for when the tablet is detached from the keyboard.
And it is difficult to detach the tablet from the keyboard - it doesn't simply "snap" apart as with the previous models.
Lastly, the keys are not backlit.
In comparison, the Book Cover Keyboards provided with the S8/S9/S10 series provide permanent protection for the backs of their tablets - they remain permanently attached to the back, even when the tablet is separated.
And they also provide an incredibly useful stand when the tablet is detached from the keyboard.
In addition, their keyboards are also backlit.
The protection, and the stand, are must-have features for a pro-level keyboard, especially at this price, and all the more so when we are used to having these two features from the previous models.
As such, I will be selling my S11 Ultra and going back to the S10 Ultra. Having a proper keyboard with protection and a back-stand is a non-negotiable for me.

Pro, NO!!!
This is absolutely idiotic! What fool, excuse my expression, would even buy this? First and foremost, there is absolutely NO protection for the back of the unit and the rear cameras. At least with the slim keyboard the whole tab is protected. Had they provided a trackpad and back-lit keys on IT, we would not be having this discussion. What would it have cost to extend the connector area all the way up to the top and provide cut-outs for the cameras so the whole back area is protected?? As it is, only 1/4 of the back is covered. And they want WHAT for this debacle, $399? This is why we as consumers are at the mercy of big companies. We buy into this foolishness. This is not a Top-Tier product. Anyone that would pay that kind of money for this, is brain dead. I Don't care how many here and there features it has, the main function of a keyboard/Case is; Productivity and PROTECTION!! I spent $1200 on the Tab S11 Ultra and THIS is what I waited for all this time??? Back to the drawing board Samsung. If you're going to turn people upside down and shake them for money, let it be for something better than this. Just my 2¢, which is exactly what I would pay for this.

Tab S11 Pro Keyboard Thoughts
Finally ordered my pro keyboard for my Tab S11 Ultra. Thoughts:
* Design is good. Gives a laptop like experience and feel to tablet
* Hinge feels premium and works well opening and closing
* Key travel feels laptop like
* Mouse track very responsive and works well
X - Although good design, not worth the $400 price tag
X - Since this connects via pogo pins, should have added 2 additional usb-c ports for charging and other device connections
X - Also wouldn't be a bad idea to have additional battery capacity in next version
Overall I am loving the Tab S11 Ultra with this keyboard. It has become my daily driver over my laptop. This is a first and look forward to next model upgrades.

Finally, a perfect companion
First, ergonomics: A true laptop keyboard in all aspects.
Second, construction: Exactly as you would expect at this price
Third, transformation: Samsung's "tablets" have evolved into an Ai, interconnected powerhouse that does everything from serious Excel work, Lightroom and of course Ai integration. We are no longer just answering emails and web surfing. This is my go-to workhorse. And my frustration previously was that it never had a keyboard to complement its prowess. And now it does in spades.
The price, welcome to the world of high quality. That it doesn't wrap around the whole tablet... We never did that with our laptops...
It's interconnected aspect within the Samsung galaxy is what now enables me to fluidly flow between all my Samsung devices without having to also schlep a Surface Pro.
Yeah, this is a game changer and if you're buying an Ultra, you actually need this keyboard. Your world will expand with ease.
