Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice look , bad for protecting bought this case from second hand on ebay , and i dont know for how long is been used, but it seems almost brand new, never saw one in my life before this one and i went all by the pictures en youtube reviews , but no one said that they are super thin and fragile ,also they are two pieces , you cant trust to grab your tablet from the lid or the keyboard beacuse it will fall off, i know that a compact design is the main goal, but atleast they should made it with aluminium or thicker materials and one piece with a hinge , come on samsung , you selling this for $350 new , glad i bough it for $80 if you think this will protect your tablet it isnt , it works if your ablets stays on a desktop all the time , is sad that i need to change cases for moving from places

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Longevity is not a thing Loved using this keyboard. I was able to do everything from playing games to getting work done. It felt slim. The only problem is it didn't last very long, especially for the price that was listed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A beast of a keyboard, for a beast of a tablet i have had a samsung tablet since the tab s4. this tablet and keyboard are the best that i have ever seen. the only reason for the 4 stars and not 5, is that the keyboard costs so much! i love that it finally comes with a backlit option, but the price taints the awesomeness of this keyboard.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Needs update keyboard layout is great and really like the backlighting which is why i upgraded. the problem i have experienced is like many of the other reviewers: lag, mouse jumps around, keys will randomly repeat despite only pressing the key one time and lastly, the keyboard will sometime stop responding. the only way to get it to start working again is to disconnect and reconnect. the s7 keyboard was flawless and wished i didn't upgrade.

They keys are nice, I love the backlighting, it's sturdy & amazingly thing. I love using it to respond to text messages & emails.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Absolutely dissapointing for the price you'd think that spending $350 on a keyboard case for a flagship tablet would offer you the best experience. you'd be wrong. the kickstand-style back stand is terrible for anything other than a flat surface like a table. same goes for the flimsy keyboard. at $350, you'd hope to get a solid keyboard, this thing feels like its going to bend in half. i also constantly have issues with the connection, which is weird because its not even bluetooth. it will randomly stop registering keystrokes, or act like i'm holding down a key and do something like "kkkkkk". it should have a hinge system that doesn't need a kickstand, like the apple ipad magic keyboard. at least a better kickstand design. i'm a huge samsung fan, but this is one i'd absolutely not recommend to anyone. do better samsung.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wow, this keyboard is a PROBLEM I like the improvements of the keyboard, mainly because it has backlighting, a larger touch pad and it's comfortable to type on. Biggest Problem: keyboard stops working completely while you are typing, you have to slam on some keys, like return key to wake it back up again; frustrating. Other Problem: touch pad stops working, while you are using it to move cursor around, you have to tap and click on it a couple of tiimes to wake it up; again, frustrating.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great, at first good case although pricey. the keyboard had a good feal and trac pad was good. issue is that the keyboard stopped working after about 2 month samsung riemburced me but still unfortunate. case also has a hard time staying shut as its not magnetic on the keyboard side

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Really over priced i bought the galaxy tab s8 ultra for basically 550 due to the trade in. i was able to afford that, but the case (mainly the magnetic back side) is something i need for this case. for 350 you can buy a whole gaming console. you are not apple there is no reason to over charge for this.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It’s just okay i’ve been using this for over a week and the quality is good but it has a terrible lag when typing words or numbers with double characters. ie. “66” “gg” “ss” “22” and so on. i’m not a speed typer by no means but when i any dual letter word the second letter always lags and isn’t typed. of this wasn’t included in my pre order for free i would definitely be asking for a refund. not worth the price if purchased by itself. hopefully this is something that can be fixed with a software update.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Adequte, but very disappointing the trackpad jutters when doing any slow mouse movements, and it has horrible palm rejection. the keyboard itself is extremely flimsy. unlike competitors (surface pro 8), this device must be used on a flat solid surface rather than a couch, your lap, etc. if they keyboard isnt on a flat surface and you put your palms on the palm rests, the keyboard bends down the center and causes the mousepad to click. the joint between the keyboard and tablet is also paper thin and offers no stability. i am typing this with the device on my lap and i have had the mousepad bend-click at least 3 times per sentence. in summary, this keyboard cover should cost $100 and is an accessory to the tablet, whereas on devices like the surface pro 8 the keyboard feels like a solid part of the device itself.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Stylish keyboard cover i did receive this keyboard cover with me pre-order of the tab s8 ultra tablet. after travelling with this unit for a week, i feel i now have a device that can cover for light work and all my entertainment needs on the road. appearance: the cover is two parts: the keyboard and the backing w/stand + pen holder. the synthetic material feels nice to the touch and provides an elegant look. when i do not need the keyboard part, it detaches easily. functionality: the keyboard has standard keys and function keys that makes it easier to work in the android os. you also have the option to program shortcuts to three apps. i have not had any typing issues mentioned in other reviews. typing feels natural, on par with other tablet keyboards, and the trackpad also meet my expectations in usability.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Premium price for cheap, flimsy product. samsung really dropped the ball on this one. this is cheap feeling and flimsy accessory not worth anywherenear $350. the trackpad has several dead zones & the left side will not register inputs for the tablet. the keyboard struggles to keep up when typing at faster speeds and spacebar does not register input quite regularly. save your money and pass on this product. you'll wind up with better products for far cheaper. samsung, do better. this keyboard is outperformed by a $15 wireless generic keyboard from amazon. $350 implies top tier accessories and this product falls very short of that.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wonderful, except for the double spacing the keyboard is incredible, but occasionally it will double space whenever i tap the spacebar. it becomes frustrating when i am trying to type, and have to go back and correct the space between words. also, occasionally it will freeze and i will lose my arrow on my mouse. i have to use the s pen to find it, or disconnect and reconnect it to make it reappear. please update the keyboard.

"cc" "66" "mm" the second letter will not type. i'm not a fast typer by any means, and it is very, very frustrating. especially based off the cost and the awesome device it's connected to. beyond that, it looks good, works well and the mouse is okish. clicking it feels... sketchy, but it works. i like the feel and spacing on the keys and i really hope the double key issue is addressed in an upcoming update.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Buy something else. 350 USD is ridiculous Forst and foremost. This should not cost 350 USD. Within a month of gentle use the material near the hinge, pen cover, and keyboard connector wore down and the hinge didn't hold the tablet steady for drawing sketching or note taking. Now less than a year later half of the key on my keyboard have become nonresponsive after a firmware update. Also when trying to type on an uneven surface such as a lap, the keyboard has not enough structural support that the mouse pad accidentally clicks often. Along with the hardware, there are plenty of software problems. Apps even in dex mode do not function well. For example in Google Chrome when opening a new tab, the search bar is not immediately available to type in. You have to bring your hands from the keyboard to do so. And pressing some keyboard buttons does random shortcuts which I could not find documentation from the app developers or samsung. For 350 usd this product is definitely not worth it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worst Keyboard I've ever used. This is the WORST tablet keyboard I have ever used. The trackpad is laggy, often needing me to smack it once with my fingers to reset it and then try to get it to scroll again. I have felt many times if I just threw it against the wall as hard as I could, maybe it would work better after. The old samsung keyboard I had with my old tablet was amazing. Had I paid for this keyboard, I would be LIVID, but luckily it was a free gift with purchase. DO NOT buy this keyboard unless you absolutely must.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worst Samsung product ever 6 months of ownership. The tablet itself is amazing. However, this keyboard is the worst samsung product i've ever had my hands on. Horrible lag, the touch pad is extremely inaccurate, the board disconnects too easily, it's too flimsy. I can't say enough about how disappointed I am in this keyboard ESPECIALLY at the price point of $350. Either make this keyboard included for free or make a product worth the price you're charing. I wish I can get my money back for it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not good Buttons stick and bluetooths seems to momentarily disconnct, such as when typing in a password and its missing 2 letters it didnt pick up as you typed or a key is stuck and hhhhhhhhhhhhhhh is what you get. Keyboard also needs a stronger magnet, comes off of the tablet to easy. backlighting of keys is very very dim. I would be so upset if I had paid for this, luckily it was free with a pre-order

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome keyboard with awesome specs i love the backlight on the keyboard and it is actually very responsive. worth the money? probably not, but if you have the money, you should purchase to pair with an already great piece of tech (tab s8 ultra). its also very durable. i carry it almost everywhere just like that, no sleeve or anything.

But the Keyborad is really bad Quality, I been So Carefull whith this and today from nowhere 2 Keys Drooped out, Its really frustrating that this doesnt are the Quality at the same level of the Tab. I would search more options on amazon...

I ended up buying a third party keyboard it works and responds better. Prices are overvalued. The keyboard suppose to help college students not break them with a high bill

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Samsung Galaxy S8 Ultra tablet + Keyboard error I bought the Samsung Galaxy S8 Ultra with keyboard DX900 (flip cover keyboard) 2 days ago. It is not possible to click Shift+2 to get the @. I get this " instead. And the mousepad needs to be pushed really hard, to get some action. I went back to the Samsung shop, and they showed me that all worked well in the one they had on display for customers. They said my device needed a special upgrade from Samsung, not available online. So they performed that upgrade in the shop... but the problem was not fixed. I had already performed the system upgrade. Now they say that my S8 Ultra need a factory reset. Never in my life have I bought a product that need factory reset... even befrore I start using it. If there are some tricks to get the keyboard to work, please inform me ASAP. If not, I will return the S8 Ultra and get my money back.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing i recently got the tab s8 ultra for christmas along with the keyboard cover. i have no complaints. i love the additional backlight on the keyboard keys aswell. folded together it holds the tablet like a book. this is quite literally my new laptop!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from ITEM NOT COVERED WITH PURCHASED PROTECTION PLAN Bought with Tablet and the Samsung 3yr protection plan for both. Only to find out that the book keyboard case is not covered with the protection plan. Support refuses to cover. Support is horrible with digital help. It's ridiculous the number of times I was asked if the tablet software was up to date and to turn things on and off.
