If I had a CON it would not be against the SSD itself but the tool Magician; although a very good tool it does not allow access to M.2's.

(Because my Dell computer had but one slot, I had to buy a $49. adapter for the cloning process.) My computer booted right up and has been working flawlessly ever since.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from ask When I bought this ssd they told me it's 2280 but not 2230 then my laptop only have 1 2280 placed this ssd because of that my other 2 ssd got problems I have to reboot them if I want use this one, It make me lose a lot of important informations, so beware full and ask twice before you placed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A SSD that doesn't slow down w/age. my samsung 970 evo plus 500gb nvme m.2 is no doubt the best ssd! i've used mine since shortly after it first came out and i've used/use others as well. my 970 still scores top speeds on tests where as other ssds i use tend to get worn out and slow down over time. i ran smartctl yesterday and my 970 has 51 tb written and still scores 2,900-3,200 reads/writes when tested. i believe it will live up to the 300tbw lifespan that the 500gb has. sure is good nowadays to be able to trust that something works because many are a let down but not samsung! excellent ssds! highly recommend!!

No problems or hiccups especially with my being a video editor, I need reliability and this drive doesn't slow down when it gets hot--even when I've been editing for over 3 hours! I plan on ordering another one soon to replace the Crucial drive I currently have in the my system. I've installed 2 other drives in my laptop and my parent's computer and most products can not compete with the performance of your drives. Thank you SAMSUNG for your making dependable products.

Dropped this in and made it my main drive with the 860 as bulk storage and WOW it is rediculous. Totally worth it and easy to set up. Installed it, cloned it, changed the boot order in the BIOS and done. Supercharged my Inspiron 7570. 100% recommended!

This NVMe drive I use in an external USB case where it is a backup for my laptop files. I couldn't be happier with it. I will continue buying this model as long as it's made!
