The CU 8000 at 43 inches was on sale and fit perfect for our designated spot. It's not a high end TV by any stretch of the imagination. But the features are just what you need if you want a smart TV with apps and the what not.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Returned item I love the picture quality of the TV but unfortunately I had to return it. I use xfinity stream and it does not work with Samsung TV’s. When I returned it the person at the desk indicated that she knew and understood the return. This is information that the sales people in the TV section should be aware of. It’s a very important piece of advice. It could have saved me the hassle of returning and searching for another TV.

Searching the Internet is very convenient and using Alexa or Bixby makes using your voice a faster way to look for favorite programs. Excellent product! Highly recommend it! 10 stars

I absolutely love this tv. I am in love with the sound and color. I was absolutely blown away by the color graphics I have even on the old switch system.

The remote control could be a little bigger, the markings on the various buttons are extremely difficult to read. The base or stand or “legs” are cheap and a piece of junk. There’s nothing substantial about them, the “legs” are thin, not sturdy at all. That’s why this TV got 4 stars instead of 5.

A very crisp picture enhances the viewing experience. Ultra slim frame gives any space an upgraded look. Very satisfied with the simplicity and ease of setup. Received many compliments on the sleek exterior and spatial design effects.

Basically use it for everything. It's always got a clear picture and the speakers are actually quite good as well. I would highly recommend and wouldn't buy any other brand of tv again.

It was hooked up the day I got it Can’t return due to their ridiculously short return time. It worked great for as long as it worked. I loved it. But now I’m beginning to wonder about the other one

When I go to a appliance store and look up at all of the screens, you can always tell a Samsung. Samsung's always pop out because of their great picture. The technology is supreme and far better than the competitors. I have a Samsung phone, tablet as well. So I always shop for Samsung products. They are built well. From a satisfied Samsung owner.

Great for gaming thru Xbox hub, on a PlayStation, and even with my desktop as a monitor; No lag and the refresh rate is great. I have ample room for all my apps for streaming - Netflix, prime, Hulu, etc. After initial setup, I've made little to no adjustments to the picture which is a first for me. There's nothing more I can ask of a TV to do that this powerhouse can't handle.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good picture but non working HDMI ports I purchased the 43" TV from Best Buy online. It was described as an open box in excellent like new condition. It looked new but obviously no one checked out the ports because none of the HDMI ports worked. The HDMI cable I used worked fine on my other 43 inch Samsung TV that this CU8000 was replacing. I took the TV back the same day of purchase and will either purchase a new Samsung TV or another brand. Best Buy did refund my money quickly. Just wish I could find a non Smart TV since I don't use those features or find something that is reliable.

After much to and fro with Samsung's infinitely patient tech support I finally came to the realization that it was my wifi that was causing the TV to be unable to lock on to various 'Samsung Hub' channels. In my defense it had worked successfully for the previous TV. Apologies to tech support personnel

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great bang for you buck TV Decided to get the 43” CU8000 crystal UHD 4K TV as a portable tv that can move around the house and take it outside when grilling out. The 43in size and slim frame makes it super easy to move around the house and use as a second screen for watching football during the fall or taking it outside when the weather is a good. The built in smart apps makes it great option so you don’t need to attach a streaming device or a cable box, also helps that my cable provider offers a smart app so I can stream live tv straight from the app. The picture a great for the cost and can output 4k at 60hz which is good for gaming and other high resolution content that you are viewing. Something that doesn’t get talk about enough is Samsungs SolarCell remotes, gone are the days of switching the batteries from the closet remote when the batteries die. Now you can just leave it out in the natural light and the solar panels will charge it. It does have a USB-C port so if you’re in bind you can charge it via a UBC-C charger. The TV comes with 3 HDMI 60hz ports for your streaming devices or gaming consoles. Overall it’s a great bang for your buck 4K that is perfect for moving around the house or bringing it outside.

I especially like the free television software that is included - free to watch if your TV is connected to the Internet, similar to the Pluto app. The Picture is super sharp, but I confess it is my first 4k tv so I am not the best judge in this area. The tv has a decent remote control. I like the fact that it charges itself via a solar panel. Very cool. The volume and channel controls are not buttons but small switches that are spring loaded to return to default position after a minimal up or down push. What really surprised me is how the remote can be used automatically to control your xbox or playstation as soon as you plug it in. Good if you watch your media through your game system. My one gripe with the TV is with the multi view. You cannot show two hdmi Inputs on the same screen. The multi view can have one input or app on the screen along with your connected (computer/ phone / webcam ). So you can't use an app AND your playstation or any two apps at the same time... unless one is on your pc/phone.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Smart TV, that's actually smart Honest to God, this TV is such an upgrade. I had a 2018 65 inch samsung TV and the tech is fast, clean and just super simple to use. The color is as in the name "crystal" is amazingly clear. Samsung tvs are just great because you can put background HD videos just as ambience.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Know defect with closed captioning. Do not buy. Could not get closed captioning to turn off. Spent hours reading online reviews and another hour with the GeekSquad only to realize that this is a known issue and Samsung does nothing about it. A waste of my time and money! Very disappointed in both Samsung and Best Buy.
