Ultra quick scanner at reasonable price
It scans amazingly fast. Reasonable price. Slightly difficult to initiate a scan. Small size ideal for home office. Overall, it is not better than the discontinued 1500 model

Sometimes the top auto feed grabs more than one page at a time when I feed around 10 pages. This is even after I fan the pages. Sometime the autofeed doesn't grab the paper straight and I need to refeed as the auto skew can't fix it. Software seems to work fine. I like it's simple one button design and wifi send to laptop vs the older model Fujitsu which was USB connected.

Easy set up, nothing complicated about it.
We finally bit the bullet and purchased a scanner to take over the duties of our good but feature lacking printer/scanner.
We read reviews on several scanners in our price range and decided on scanSnap by Fujitsu. It has turned out to be one of the best value electronics I have purchased in quite a while.
Our snapScan has operated flawlessly and made the transfer of documents for things like bank transactions, sending medical and dental documents back and forth.
The footprint is tiny but the scanner can handle a fair capacity of documents for its size and does so with surprising speed. I like its double sided document option and its ability to straighten documents that may not be completely vertical (which is rare).
Ours is hooked into our cloud storage and we work from there. The Fujitsu ScanSnap document scanner is a great addition to our electronics garage.
