Also, if a compact laptop is in place, these retaining arms hold firm with the screen up or down. This universal vehicle mounting base quickly and easily installs into a variety of vehicles and other applications. The RAM POD I has a maximum extension of 18" but can be cut to desired length. The black steel foot can be attached to the inside seat rail bolt of the passenger or any existing bolt.
