And the screen protector is attached to the bottom of this Rube Goldberg machine, just make a solid plastic ring that fits over the phone like everyone else

All the others either don't fit well or the touch sensitivity of the screen was terrible. Otterbox brand is the absolute best fit for any phone screen and there is no difference in screen response. I'm staying with Otterbox!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I could not get the bubbles out. $40 thrown away. It is obvious manufacturers of protectors want customers to have it easier in putting on these protectors than in the past. Engineers have worked on minimizing air bubbles and incorrect placement (i.e., going on crooked, or accidental bending/cracking the protector in the struggle). Still, I failed, so it failed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from deep scratch after minimal use unfortunately has a deep scratch that can be felt with fingernails not even two weeks into use. this is strange to me as I had an otterbox screen protector for the entire life of my XS Max (6 years) and it still looks flawless, which is why I went with otterbox again. I’ve yet to drop my phone and it only stays in my pocket solo, so I don’t even know where I would pick up a scratch like this. slightly disappointing

Also the gap between otterbox screen and otterbox case is ridiculous. Should be a perfect fit since you manufacture both. Would not recommend to anyone.

Had to remove and try again due to dust between the protector and the screen despite following all steps. Also noticing a few minor abrasions after a few days with very careful use. This product is really only worth it for me because of the warranty.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Can’t really test the glass when the case is bad I can’t really testify to the durability since the screen protector was broken within 10 days and my wife’s only lasted four days. The issue wasn’t the screen protectors, but a poor design of the Otterbox Defender for the iPhone 16 Pro Max. There is a cutout in the side of the case for the camera button, that leaves the edge of the screen protector exposed. This is the exact spot where both screen protectors began cracking. An online search of Apple iPhone 16 Pro Max users cited similar failures of the screen protectors they were using, where their cell phone case has a cutout on the lower right edge for the camera button.

This time around the top right edge of the screen protector wouldn’t apply correctly so it was always bubbling up. To make matters worse, it shattered straight across the screen protector from being placed on a table. I picked it up and was shocked with what happened. I love OtterBox cases, but the screen protectors are a bit of a hit or miss especially for this price.

Took a lease cleaning wipe a week or so later to it to clean dust around edges and now the edges are rising up on it causing a bubble to appear under it. It annoys the crap out of me. Other than that the application was easy and had all of the tools needed. Really wanted to like it as I never had a screen protector before and wanted to cut down on the small scratch’s that come from that. I can’t stand a bubble under a screen though. It’s truly a pet peeve!
