Plantronics EncorePro HW520 - headset is rated3.81 out of5 by21.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from fell apart in less than 6 monthswas provided the 520 headset at work and while the features are great, the plastic portions that connect the speakers to the headband separated and the entire unit fell apart after 6 months of 8 hour m-f usage; not an isolated incident as my cube mate's fell apart faster than mine did

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent HeadsetWe are limited in Budget and these headsets are a wonderful headset. They are adjustable and comfortable to wear. My central station girls gave them all thumbs up. From my past experiences with Plantronics I knew they would be a hit. Plantronics knows headsets.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for a call centerWe upgraded our call center to use these, as they have a noise cancellation circuit built in to the microphone. They're pricey, but fit our need for private conversations with clients. So far we have 12 of them, and no issues 6 months later.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works great with our phonesWe have Broadview as our landline carrier and these headsets work great with the phones. They allow us to be hands free and use the computer while on the phone with clients and customers. You need the correct adapter depending upon your phone.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from PainfulThese are provided at the call center I work at. The sound quality is nice but they are quite painful to wear. I am not a fan of on the ear head phones in general and these ones seem extra snug (I have an average size head). By the end of my shift my ears hurt so bad that I want to cry most days. I am currently searching for something less painful.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fragile HeadsetThe company where I work purchased about 40 of these, within six months there were about seven broken. Cheap, thin plastic housing, now we ran out of warranty and they keep on breaking. Stay away from this brand.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great, noise canceling headset!I bought this product for one of my co-workers and she couldn't believe how effortlessly it hooked up to the phone. Other callers can hear her clearly and the noise canceling ability is top notch! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not impressed with durabilityI was searching for a durable headset for a call center environment. So far we have had two stop playing audio, one had the plastic housing for the adjustable over the head piece crack, and one had the thin wire rip out. Oh, and one had the buttons installed backwards, so hang up is mute and mute is hang up. So 1 in 10 have had problems in 4 months of use. I am pursuing warranty replacements but the hassle of it is an additional annoyance.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quality sound but OUCHI'm using this for call center work at home so I have to wear it for 8 hours a day. Every time I've used it I have a headache by mid-day. There is no adjustment across the top for head size and I have a smaller head - but it's too tight. It grips my ears so tightly that they actually hurt after a few hours. Not a great design. Shopping for something new. I wil say the sound is fine.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Sound. Poor designPlus:Great SoundExcellent Noise CancellingWorks well direct or with M22Cons:UncomfortablePoor DesignBad CraftsmanshipPlastic Piece that holds headbands snaps quicklyI order about 60-70 of these a year. In the past 3 years since they discontinued the excellent HW251 I have purchased about 230 and returned about 65 for warranty replacement. 49 of those for the plastic snapping.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great headsetWasn't aware I had to get an adapter and ended up getting the MDA100 QD which is working great.Main issue besides the adapter is the length of the cable. It's so small and because of this the adapter connection is heavier which makes the cable get in the way. If the cable was longer the connector would be further away and I could keep it on the table and not dangling in front of me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Get's the Job done, Right. The sound quality is superior to many other products we've tested with our new VOIP High Definition phone system. My users are delighted with the sound canceling which delivers an audio atmosphere as if my users are in a quite office and delivered the ability to concentrate closely on the conversation. The foam ear pieces (520) delivers ultimate comfort, allowing my users to be on the phone for hours without stress or discomfort.
