Plugable's DisplayPort to HDMI passive adapter allows you to connect from a Dual-Mode DisplayPort (DP++) output on your laptop, desktop, or tablet to virtually any HDMI-enabled display. Passive adapters rely on the Dual-Mode DisplayPort output (DP++) on your system in order to pass video and audio signals to an HDMI display. Adapter supports resolutions up to 3840x2160 @ 30Hz (4K) refresh rate and 2560x1440p and 1080P resolutions and below @ 60Hz. Please note: In order to display a 4K resolution the host's graphics processor and attached display need to be 4K capable

This adapter is not bi-directional and will not convert in the other direction. Dual-Mode DisplayPort source ports are often noted with a DP++ symbol next to the port itself. Excellent adaptor
Using this with my Dell laptop works like a charm, no issues connecting the adapter straightforward usage. I take this cable with me in the go very handy and easily used with multiple monitors super light weight as high quality materials.

This works!
Recently got an old VR system and needed a adapter for the hdmi for the system to my laptop! It worked very well and haven't found anything negative about it. The size is perfect for traveling and compact enough so it's not in the way.

Was so easy to hook up
Hooked up my new laptop to my big screen TV. It was so quick and easy. No problems at all with the video or sound. Now I can game on my big screen which makes it so much easier on the eyes. I'm not a spring chicken.

All You Need & Dependable!
Perfect to convert DisplayPort to HDMI
This Plugable dongle has been working great to convert my DisplayPort output on my computer to work with an HDMI cable. Important note is that this is one-way: DisplayPort to HDMI, not the other way around. I chose to go with an adapter like this, rather than a cable with different DisplayPort and HDMI ends, as this gives me the freedom to change the HDMI cable I'm using with the computer if I want longer or shorter. No complaints!!

Just what was needed!
The Plugable Technologies - Plugable Monitor Adapter - DP to HDMI was exactly what was needed. It seems to work well with no problems encountered. I am not a techie so can't speak to any of the specifics, but it certainly works well for us. No complaints.

Worked great
This plugable product worked great. It really is as good as I expected it to be. I have other pluggable products that I use and they are reliable. I needed a known good brand-name displayport to HDMI adapter. I knew I could trust this product because of my experience with the brand in the past and it did not disappoint!

So far I think it works just fine for the computer in my fiancés gaming room.
It is well made , it is short , it plugs in well too. Black in color
