Plugable's USB-C to HDMI Adapter (USBC-THDMI) allows you connect an HDMI display to your laptop, tablet, or desktop which supports USB-C DisplayPort Alternate Mode (Alt Mode) video output functionality. The adapter is equipped with an HDMI 1.4 port in order to support resolutions up to 4K 30Hz.
Performance USB-C Alt Mode graphics adapters utilize a direct pipeline to the graphics processor in your system, and your connected monitor will function and perform as a natively attached display. HDMI 1.4 supports 4K / UHD displays up to 3840x2160 @ 30Hz while being backward compatible with HDMI 1.3 to provide support for popular modes such as 1920x1080@60Hz (1080P), and 2560x1440@60Hz.

Works just as advertised
The cable works well. The middle is flexible so you can easily plug an HDMI into it at any angle. Both ends connect very solid and seem like they will work many times connecting and disconnecting from a computer and HDMI cable.

i got this so i could watch my favorite sporting events at night while camping. its very easy to use, just plug it in to a phone or tablet with an hdmi cable and set the input on the TV. overall a great product

Love it!
Connect your Mac laptop to your TV! I use this to connect my laptop to my Sony TV and it is so helpful. Mac's only have one port now, so this is so useful. I would highly highly recommend this to anyone.

I bought this a month ago and I'm super happy that I did recently moved my living room around and needed some place to plug things up and my phone and tablet so I got this to try and I absolutely love it a lot it has been a life saver

Nice little adapter
I keep this in my travel bag for when I want to display my phone on a TV or monitor. It comes in handy with my Bluetooth controller because I can play my Android games (including Cloud streaming games) on the TV instead of just handheld. I can also give a quick powerpoint presentation from my phone or tablet instead of having to lug around a laptop. All in all it serves its purpose in a nice small form factor.

great adapter
I use this device to connect my android phone to my projector. It does the job and has minimal latency. I am not sure about 4K resolution because I guess it was originally made to connect a laptop to a projector.

Perfect for older technology in newer devices
This converter is perfect for us. We just got a new vehicle and all the plugs in it are the newer usb c plugs. Well we have some older technology with phones and tablets that we do not have the newer chargers for yet. With this we are good to go.
