This is a unidirectional adapter: HDMI output ? VGA input only. VGA does not carry audio — only the video signal is converted. Maximum resolution: 1920×1080 at 60Hz. Does not support HDCP-protected content (Blu-ray, streaming DRM, Netflix, Hulu, etc.).
Requires a powered HDMI port. Some low-power HDMI implementations (media streamers, Raspberry Pi, gaming consoles, and most Apple computers) do not supply sufficient power for this cable and are not supported.

Excellent cable
I received this product about a week ago and was totally surprised by how well it was presented and also by how well it was package after using it for a while I can say it is totally worth it it is very high quality and is really excellent cable to use I highly recommend it to everyone

No software to install
This plug is awesome to have around when you want to connect something to your computer. It is as simple as plugging one end into the computer and one end into your device. There is no software that you need to install. The length of the cord is just right to be able to reach from one item to the other.

Great for extra PC screens
My home office has the need to have multiple screens with my computer and this converter makes my work system possible. It helps me use old screens with VGA with my newer computer. This is a helpful cable to have.
