The Plugable UD-ULTCDL USB-C triple monitor docking station provides up to three additional display outputs via a combination of USB-C DisplayPort Alternate Mode ("Alt Mode") and DisplayLink USB graphics. Up to 60W via USB-C Power Delivery ("PD") to charge your host computer, Gigabit Ethernet, audio, and 6x USB device connectivity. All through a single USB-C cable. See important notes regarding Alt Mode and PD compatibility below.

Graphics Performance Main HDMI port utilizes USB-C Alt Mode which has a direct "pipeline" to the host graphics processor (GPU), and connected monitor will perform as if natively attached. The 2nd and 3rd outputs are powered by DisplayLink DL-3900 which leverages the host GPU & CPU; these outputs are not recommended for gaming.

Alt Mode and PD Compatibility Alt Mode video supported on select systems including Dell XPS 9350, 9360, 9550, 9560, Dell Precision 5510, HP Spectre 13"" x360 13t. The included power supply can charge compatible host systems with up to 60 watts of PD power. Charging speed is host dependent but behaves as if laptop/tablet were connected to it's stock charger. DisplayLink graphics require Intel / AMD / NVIDIA GPU and driver. Cannot be mixed with non-DisplayLink USB graphics adapters and drivers (e.g. MCT, j5, or SMSC). HDCP/Blu-ray playback not supported.

Incompatible Systems . Most current phones & tablets with USB-C ports do not support Alt Mode video output. ASMedia USB 3.1 controllers do not support Alt Mode at this time.

Let me start by saying that this docking station is not just amazing but it also works well. I really love the 20-watt charging option that I can use to charge my iPhone while working on my MacBook. If you are considering buying a new MacBook - this unit is essential for setting up a full featured workstation.t's great for working from home. I've always had to plug multiple different things into my laptop, when working from home but I don't have to with this dock, all you have to do is plug in one and your off and running.It’s a must have!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Product Works very well withToshiba C55. It charges the laptop while providing video output and port replication. Just remember to install the updated drivers. There are different video ports, one is the alt-mode video from the thunderbolt option, and the other uses the Display link video.

This was super simple to set up, It's as easy as just plugging everything in and you're ready. Plugable has always been reliable when it comes to getting peripherals for my laptop and this docking station is really something I would totally recommend from plugable. 10/10!

I don't have to now with the dock, one plug and everything works. The use the SD slot constantly its nice the headphones jack is on the front

I've got a usb hub with numerous accessories plugged in - web cam, headset, external memory, printer, speakers, mouse, keyboard, etc.) and it's so convenient having just one plug handle them all. I simply plug the USB-C into my comp and everything is connected. Incredibly easy setup, took 15 minutes tops. Highly recommend!

As a tech enthusiast who often switches between multiple displays, this docking station really comes in handy. It connects seamlessly without compromising the resolutions of the screens, which meets what I am looking for. It even supports USB-C power delivery, up to 100W. Overall, this is a fantastic docking station and I would highly recommend it because of its versatility and design.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very useful laptop dock I am pleasantly surprised with how straightforward this dock was to use with a laptop. Additionally, the hardware itself all seems of pretty good quality. Cables are all of good length. Power brick and cables are all standard types and connections. The cable lengths (Power, USB-C) are all of a good length. Power brick size is actually a pretty small size for the amount of power it delivers. Although the branding on the dock is a bit much, especially if you like an aesthetic look in your work area. Which is unfortunate, because otherwise the unit is quite understated and the design is very useful for having it in plain sight. I was concerned that being a vertical dock that it would tip over pretty easily with the HDMI cables, but it’s actually pretty solid for having what looks like a thin base. I really appreciated that the HDMI ports are spaced so that there's very little chance of any of the other ports being blocked by bulky cable ends. I had no problems adding monitors and the laptop saw them immediately through the dock. The USB on the front (power delivery) of 20W, works as expected and is especially useful for charging other portable electronics. There's only one thing that gets in the way of this unit being 'almost perfect'. The dock has no button to power up the unit docked to it. Depending upon the nature of your setup or the computer that's docked to it, this might not matter, or (like my situation) somewhat annoying to have to open the laptop to turn it on everytime.

Well with this there is a spot for everyone's phone etc. Right when I plugged it up, everyone instantly started charging things with it, and it works amazing and is really easy to put together. I would recommend this to anyone with a big or small family what loves electronics.

You can also charge your items straight from the docking station which is fantastic as well! It runs very quietly as well. Definitely a fantastic addition to my computer setup!

Is a USB C docking station and is great for MacBook pros because it also replace the charger. Additionally has several USB ports, Ethernet, a USB c PD charging port, and an headphone and mic jack. It also works with Chrome or Windows PC.

I really like that I can have a lot of different ports and it to be honest, it works super great.Simple and easy to set up. Does what is supposed to and makes life so much easier with four monitors Overall, my main objective was satisfied with speed and ease, THAT is what I needed most!

Initially, I did have some trouble getting the connections to all work properly. After reviewing the manual, though, I was able to get it all in working order! I'm thrilled to be able to have all 3 of my monitors on one desk, plus it charges my laptop at the same time! This product has been reliable for me thus far and would recommend!
