This headset is extremely uncomfortable, it squeezes my ears to the point where I have to take them off after a couple of hours of use, and they're continually pulling my glasses up causing headaches because of blurred vision.

The ear piece is super soft and does not itch like the foam ones tend to do after 8 hours. Highly Recommended [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from useless without connection cable (sold separately) The supplier I ordered this from did not mention that this headset can't plug in to a standard phone jack without the special connection cable, which is sold separately. The headset has a funky HDMI-like plug instead of a normal phone cord plug - supposedly to offer quick release so you can walk away from your desk without taking off the headset. Pretty silly for a wired headset; it doesn't work when it's unplugged, so why would anyone walk around with a useless headset and dangling wire instead of just taking it off?? I don't have the connection cable, but the photos online make it look like you can't have both the headset and handset plugged into the phone, so you can't quickly switch between the two. Might be acceptable for sales/service people who spend the entire day on the phone, but not someone who only needs it for the occasional teleconference. Also, I had to look online to figure out how to plug this thing in because the "user guide" is just a series of vague pictures about how to put it on your head, no pictures showing how to plug it into the phone.I'll be returning this.

But unfortunately they do not reveal this little information anywhere in their catalog. You only find it after you receive the head set. To top it off the product page on their web site does not guide you to the right part you now need to buy to make this stupid thing work.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Uncomfortable I love the headset as far as the technical. It is great for hearing customers. The thing just kills my ears!!!!! I have worn a headset for more than 25 years and this is the most uncomfortable one I have had so I have to remove it often very often!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Doesn't connect to phone Nowhere does the product description mention that it does not connect to a mobile phone. The photos do not show the end of the cable. If an adaptor is needed that should be made 100% clear. I'll have to return this product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from EncorePro 710/720 - Over-the-head, binaural, noise Sound is good. Headset is quite comfortable. However other people on my calls complained about my breathing noise. I was able to eliminate noise by adding a sponge cover to mic. Headset should come with a sponge cover.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Disappointing, Don't work with Galaxy S7/S8 series These were okay with previous phones, albeit I was never able to get much volume out of them. However with the S7 Edge and S8 Plus I get very loud hiss as soon as I connect them. Other headsets like the AKGs that come with the S8 Plus and a Jabra headset I use for Skype work fine so it seems like the Plantronics have some kind of compatibility issue.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Dissapointed Bought headset and did not realise that you have to have the recommended accessory. May have not read as much as I should have. Headset looks good but still cannot use it, need to purchase adaptor cord. Needs to say that the recommended accessory/adapter cord is mandatory if you do not have one. You may be buying a replacement headset then it is not needed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Horrible product. I have been a 911 Operator for a number of years in a high volume call center and have worn many headsets, this one if the worst ive tested. The clarity of this headset compared to others is HORRIBLE. Background noises are not very clear and could mean the difference in detecting a the slightest detail to determine if there scene security issue for officers. The comfort factor of this headset is one of the worst no matter how much you adjust the head piece. I would receive a migrane each time I would wear it. Do your agency a favor and dont waste the money on this product. The Plantronics HW251 Noise Canceling headset is one of the best I've experienced in my 10 years of experience. Its lighter, comfortable and one of the clearest I've used

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Use it daily and works great I use this every single day. I have a home office. Works great. I use it with a vtech phone so I can adjust volume on that. The headset is comfortable. I Use the 720 model. Only wish it had a mute button on it. I have to use the mute on the phone, which is OK at times, but would be nice to have the unit have it too. Highly recommended. Clear sound, and cancels noise like the gardener.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Frustrated customer I ordered this product twice now. We 1st determine the cord adapter was not working (used one from another headset). Headset seem to work, until it was determine that the the microphone must not work, no one could hear caller. Had to arrange to return, then ordered 2nd set. Again, cord adapter not working, again verified with a working cord. Then again, the microphone is not working...Arrgghhh!! Very frustrating! This is for a new manager in my company and needless to say, he's not a happy customer.I can't see any volume option for the microphone and we do have other headset, like it that do work, so any suggestions would be greatly appreciate. FYI, both sets were given a trial on different phones, so it's not the manager's phone.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Poorly designed I work in a call center and the major problem we have is agents that have their boom fall off when the connector screw that holds it in place spins out and the boom is left hanging only held on by the wire. Then eventually the wire snaps. A locking pin or additional measure is needed to keep the screw in place.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love My Head Set Reduces back ground noise great. Note to everyone this does require an MX10 or the USB adapter to use. If you still have alot of back ground noise you will want to turn down the gain control in the MX10 and/or computer if you have it connected to you computer. If you keep this in mine it will work great for you. I have been using Plantations heads in call centers for years and this is the best analog on so far.
