Headset keeps disconnecting randomly from PC
I have owned this product for about 2 months. 3 weeks ago, my headset started disconnecting from the PC at random periods. No problem with it connected to a Bluetooth connection. I have changed USB ports, and computers, still same results.

BT600
I bought this so when my computer has voice coming from the speakers they are now cut off and go directly to my Bluetooth ear piece. This prevents sound going to other rooms in the house. Great I love it.

Just what the doctor ordered
I’ve been struggling with access to Nuance Dragonsoft through an old adapter.

Better Bluetooth integration
The main benefit is that the BT600 integrates much better with a laptop and softphone applications like Skype than using the integrated Bluetooth. The disadvantage is that it is somewhat pricey.

Plug-n-play, very simple to get started
I use the head set for all my cell calls and webcasts. Great reception, noise canceling, excellent speaker, and long battery life.

Reliable Bluetooth Connection
I use this with the new Plantronics Voyager 5200 for VOIP calling through my PC. It's so much more reliable and robust than using the built in bluetooth.

Simple & Easy but costly
Currently using a BackBeat Pro. The BT600 comes in a simple recycle-able packaging. Plug to Play took under two minutes...just follow the instructions in the manual. Points to note:
1. The audio is GREAT coming through the device as compared to Bluetooth 4.0 from my laptop.
2. The LED strip all round is ALWAYS ON when paired, blinking "purple" when in use and blue when just paired but no audio coming through.
3. WORKS with BACK BEAT PRO AS WELL.

AN EXCELLANT PRODUCT!!!
I have been a big Plantronics fan for years and have given 10 of the Bluetooth headphones to family in friends. I now have the noise cancelling Bluetooth and phones and recently bought a computer with Windows 10. There isn't Bluetooth in it and you have to download drivers, that got bad reviews, anyway. I use my Bluetooth headphones daily, for at least 5 hours. I needed a way to connect to my computer. I called Plantronics and spoke to a tech and he told me this adapter is what I needed....and it was. I did have to call back for tech support to walk me through the set up with Windows 10. The Plantronics techs and all people I have ever talked with or worked with are well trained and know their products...which are the best on the market for whatever you are looking for!!! This IS the answer for Windows 10!!!

Just the fix I needed!
I bought this a few weeks ago as a replacement dongle for the Voyager headphones and it works like a dream. I am so glad they offer this piece separately. My headphones were outside of the warranty period and it would have been such a bummer to have to repurchase the whole set!

Pairing with Dragon Medical Dictation
I purchased this device < 1 week ago. The reason for buying the device was to integrate medical dictation from individual exam room hands free without having to hold a microphone. I'd recommend additional instructions on pairing the 5200 UC with each dongle since the intent was to get it pair with multiple PCs. Once that they're working together, it works seamlessly. Mixed Feelings
I've had this since i bought the Backbeat Pro. Been pretty happy with it but surprise how few products are compatible with it. Now it is only compatible with Focus & 5200 (not even Backbeat Pro 2). Shouldn't it be compatible with all Plantronics products ? Didn't think it will be that difficult.

Works well
This is a great little device if you find yourself using a computer for a lot of online meetings. The unit installs and runs as an audio device (I am using Windows). From there you can set the headset as your default communications device and use it seamlessly with Lync, Skype for Busiess, and I suppose any other meeting software you need.

Not so portable
Does not fit recharge case. The BT600 USB-A is a perfect in the road unit, BT adapter, multiple recharge through the case. The BT600 USB-C appears to be an oversized USB to USB A Adapter, meaning that the adapter does not fit with the headset in the case
