I know the Philips reputation. One of my older monitors, a gift from my employer, just stopped working one day (it's probably 10 years old). I decided to go a little larger, from 24" to 27". This monitor is not only a good price, it has a 4 year replacement warranty as part of the price. I bought 2. They're great. The color is very good and it's very responsive. At 60HZ, and as an office monitor at 100Hz, it's easy on my eyes, it doesn't flicker, and the hdmi is true hdmi. A small thing I noticed...the power cord has a different kind of power cord. I usually use any new cords when they come with the unit. Both hdmi and power are included with the monitor. I also like they are both shorter, about 6 ' long, not 15' long. Highly recommend this monitor.

The monitor has great features and easy to set up.
Monitor works great. Plugged it in to my computer and the electrical outlet and instantly got a perfect picture.

Great Color and Features

Good value but minor problem.
A very nice lower cost monitor but mine comes with only the MS generic driver. This seems to crash unpredictably and the monitor goes dark for a few seconds until the driver restarts; then all is well again. Seemed worse using Outlook Classic. Philips do not offer a driver for this monitor 241V8LAB.

Good moitor bad stand-by mode
The monitor paired perfectly with my HP desktop and connection via the HDMI cable was flawless. The biggest problem that I have is that the monitor will go into "stand-by" mode and will not wake up unless I completely shut down my computer and restart it. The computer will not wake up the monitor otherwise. This is a huge pain in the neck and should be addressed by Philips.

Lightweight and easy to set up.
3 1/2. The monitor is pretty good, wayy better than my old one. Kinda wide. I don't know why but there is no audio. It only works with headphones so that probably means it has no speaker.

This is a great monitor
This is a great monitor its colors are vibrant, no glare from the lighting in the room or with natural lighting. Easy to use and mounts well on my dual monitor stand. works great with gamiling as well as work from home programs. will purchase a secound one soon. I only wish it had built in speakers.

I replaced my old HP monitor that needed 2 different adapters to plug into an HDMI port. This monitor has HDMI and when I plugged it in it was ready to go. Didn't think I would get this quality of image with the priice I paid. Im very satisfied.

Good monitor. Would recommend it.
I purchased it from Amazon. The price wasn't too bad. I was first disappointed that Amazon advertised it as having a glossy screen. In actuality it has a mat screen like everyone else. However I like that it has HDMI and VGA, the on/off button, menu button, up/down buttons, selection button are all discreet and nicely labeled on the bottom front right and the side bezels and the top bezel are only 1/8" thick. Overall, I like it and would recommend it.

Looks great.
Great monitor. It is much brighter than my old one. A little tricky getting it registered, but it has been good. Installation to my computer was easy.
