Needs improvement
I bought this about a year ago now. It has held my phone in place even through the potholes I have hit. However, about 2 or 3 months in the weight of the phone (iPhone 12 made the spring “loosen” or “stretch” so the whole thing now is loos moves side to side, up and down and is just laying on the ending of my dash in front of my AC. Again, it still holds up my phone, but I’m now looking to replace it because it is difficult to see my phone while I use maps.

Great for Mag Safe Cases and IPhone 13 Pro Max
I have the heavier iphone in the 13 pro max and this magnet holds up really well with the suction and arm.
I’ve had it for a day and drove with it and everything works good from attaching it on the windshield to the dash.

Suction good plastic bad
The plastic piece directly connected to the suction cup just broke clean off leaving the suction fully engaged and my phone in my floor mats. Disappointed started out great but was trash after a month.

Works wonderfully
I have tried a few vent mount MagSafe holders but none of them would work for my truck. This does the trick. It holds secure on my dash and the magnet holds my phone securely. It really is the best for me. Just wish it had wireless charging built in.

This product has a good and strong hold. It's durable and made very well. The magnet to hold the phone in place works well also. My daughter has an iPhone 13 and I gifted it to her and she agrees with me on how good it works!

I love my Car Dash & Windshield Mount. It sticks to the windshield really good. It’s very sturdy and the magnet hold my phone very good. It makes it so much easier using my gps on my phone while traveling. I love my MagSafe car mount more then any other one I have used. Definitely a 10/10.

I bought the dash and windshield mount and it mounts perfectly.my phone does not slip out stays steady.i love that I don't have to mess with putting it in my vents.i would 100 percent reccomend getting this I love it.

Problem With Dash Mount Adhesive Disk
This product is called a "Car Dash & Windshield Mount". Otterbox should drop the words "dash mount" from the product description because the dash adhesive disk lasted all of one week. I followed all protocols for the best installation. Cleaned the dash first with water and dried. Then with alcohol wipe and dried. Installed the adhesive dash disk on a flat surface on my Toyota Camry giving it time to adhere. Then installed the mount arm suction onto the dash disc adhered to the dash. All worked well for one week. Then I noticed that the arm began sagging. Inspecting the mount I discovered that the adhesive disc had come unglued from the dash. I believe that Otterbox owes me another adhesive disc to at leas try this again before I return it for a refund. I will update this review based upon otterboxes reply, and will duplicate this review on Amazon.

Car mount!
Great new car mount! Loving how I can use my maps while driving! It is easy to attach to car and attach phone to it! I think this is much easier to use then having to put your phone in the cup holder or something like that.

Gave my son his bday present early and he loves it. Clicks right to his phone with no problem and holds it great! This by far beats the dash mounts I’ve had. Now I might have to go upgrade my phone and case.

Compared to other phone holders, this one has a strong grab! Your phone is not going to slide off! Since using one of these I am now lost if I get in a vehicle that does not have one! They should come in all cars!

This is a pretty good car mount.
Pros:
1 It’s fairly easy to install. Although, I almost missed the lever to lock it in to place. I’m glad I double checked the directions.
2) It’s easy to change the angle of the mount.
Cons:
1) You have to have a MagSafe case for this. It can’t just be a MagSafe compatible case. My phone falls off when it’s in the compatible case, but doesn’t in a MagSafe case.
2) This is necessarily a negative, but it is just a mount. It is not a charging mount.
Overall, I don’t think it’s a decent car mount. I do recommend.

I got this to use in my car but did not relise that it had to be used with the magsafe cases and they do not make a magsafe case for my version of phone, so i have not got to give it a good try yet, but seems to be made very solid and really seems like it would be very handy to have in the car, i would still recommend it to anyone looking for a dash holder just off the build quality alone.

Not Compatible with ALL MagSafe Cases
I just bought this this past week. Thought I would love it, but my phone case, which is a Popsocket MagSafe case, doesn’t stick. I have to take the case off for it to work. This sucks because it’s perfectly what I was looking for.

Sticks Like Goue
I was looking for a windshield mounted phone mount so I wouldn’t have to attach anything to my dash that could damage it. I tried well reviewed vent mounts and other suction mounts. All fell off. This suction mount stays put even on hot summer days. As a bonus it has multiple levels of adjustment to get that perfect distance and angle while in the truck.

Amazing product
We were excited to get this cell phone car dash and, windshield mount. Because, it a lot safer to have your phone mounted and, take the chance of dropping your phone while driving. And, to be hands free as well. This product is very well made and, you can swivel your phone to many different variations. We have purchased two more which is a total of three and, would highly recommend this product to others. The otter box brand is great !!!

Is not strong enough to hold the phone in position. The phone goes straight down to the floor if you take a pot hole. So I recommend a base on so for stability and to do not break my investing because the phone us not cheap.

Surprisingly amazing
I thought this product would’ve been okay at best, boy was I wrong!!! The MagSafe attachment works phenomenally! When adjusting the phone it stays in position flawlessly. I have an iPhone 12 Pro Max and it does not budge when on the mount. The level of adjustments on the mount allow me to put my phone in any locations and keeps it well out of the way! I would definitely recommend!!

I have had this product about 3 months now. At first I loved it! Very strong and held my phone great (Iphone 13 Pro Max, but after about 2 months, it got very loose and now my phone tilts forward.... Very disappointing from a brand I tend to always go back too....

Handy gadget
This attached easily and securely to my windshield. Of course, the windshield had to be clean before adhering it. It holds my phone firmly in place and allows for a good range of adjustments. You do need the mag safe case to use it. Definitely a good product for hands free use of my phone.

Strong & Sturdy
The car mount was very easy to install. I installed it on my windshield. It has a very strong hold with my MagSafe case from OtterBox. The seems real sturdy. Hopefully that lasts and it doesn’t loosen over time. So far I like it better than I thought I would.

I’ve been using this mount for several weeks now and it’s awesome! The mount itself is a bit shaky but way better than the vent mount type. What really stands out is the magnet. My phone hasn’t come off not once which is really impressive.

The OtterBox Car Dash and Winshield Mount with MagSafe technology is perfect for keeping me hands free while driving. The magnetic hold is strong, and never drops my phone. It works perfectly with my MagSafe case from OtterBox. I have had other windshield mounts before that didn’t stick for long, however there are no issues with this one. It attaches securely to the dashboard without moving or detaching. It is a quality product, and I would definitely recommend for anyone looking to stay hands free, and secure their phone while driving.

Great mount for mag safe case
I’ve only had this mount for 3 days but already pleased with how great it works. I work in agriculture, so roads are never smooth. After two days of driving in tough terrain I can surely say that this mount is very well worth every penny. Phone stays very well put on mount but you have to have MagSafe case.

Adhesive mount failure.
Adhesive backed plastic mounting plate is not adequate for vertical installations, for ex. on the side of a center console. Mounting plate, along w entire assembly (without the phone !) falls off in a hot car.
Cleaned plastic console thoroughly w alcohol, firmly glued adhesive backed mounting plate, then attached suction mount and activated locking lever. Fell off in an hour with phone on. Next, added plastic adhesive around perimeter of plate, then glued to console, added mount. Mount w/plate (no phone !) fell off after being in hot car for couple hours.
I will now drill 2 small holes in center of plate, and attach w plastic rivets. Fingers crossed.
Adhesive backed mounting plate is a poor design for vertical installations. Need better adhesive, or include screws or other fasteners to firmly attach plate.

Alot of work to make it work.
When it is stuck in place and its not to hott and doesn't brake it works great. I have had two break under the clip above the suction cup. When it gets to hott i have had them tall over. When you move trucks it has to have another mounting plate. When you have to order another plate then the suction cup drys out.

I have tried all kind of dash mount and this is my all time favorite. I was worried about the mag safe being strong enough to hold my iPhone 14 Pro Max but once you put your phone to it, it stays! Love the design. Wish I would have bought it sooner

The mount magnet is strong and holds the phone in place. I mounted the bracket to my car with the 3m and within a few weeks it has fallen off. Now it just sits in the passenger seat because I haven’t been able to find a replacement 3m tape. It was good for the short time it lasted.

Fabulous invention
This mount is d shyz. It holds the phone in place, the telescoping arm amazing, fantastic job. The phone never vibrates, never slides off the plate, as I attached a square magnet on the back of my iPhone and the MagSafe base holds it solid.

Sticks solidly to the dashboard mount, which is attached using a 3M adhesive pad. iPhone 13 Pro Max hasn't fallen off the mount just yet and I have driven 50+ mph down a fully gravel and dirt road that was under construction. I'm talking about torn up pavement, bare dirt, bare rocks, massive dips in the road. Pretty sure I might've caused a little damage to my car, but it was worth it.

Very good windshield mount for MagSafe iPhones
Super sticky suction cup! So much so, that it was really hard to reposition. It took so much effort to reposition the sticky backing became ruined. Otterbox took care of me though and sent me a new one! With the second one I practiced the positioning with the plastic backer still on then was able to stick it right the first time. I would give it 5 stars if the tensioner for the MagSafe plate could withstand the weight of a Pro Max and the vibration of the car. After a while it starts to tilt downward.
