Rated 5 out of 5 by from DO NOT BUY THIS CASE If I could give this phone case 0 stars. I would. I’ve had my iPhone 14 Pro for 1 month and 3 days. Today, I dropped my phone on the floor and the back is completely shattered. As I’m typing this review I can still hear it slowly cracking more and more. I know it’s common to drop your phone and crack it but this is one of the worst cases I’ve come into contact with. I have a soft wallet attached to the back of the phone (because it’s MagSafe) and even this didn’t stop the detrimental damage my phone endured. OtterBox needs to update it’s warranty policy to cover the actual phone it’s cases are protecting. I’ve been using OtterBox for a couple years now and every time their cases have disappointed me. Most times they just fall apart but times like this—where there is irreparable damage to my phone—is where I really draw the line. Even my panda bear case I adored on Amazon in 4th grade worked better than this. Forget OtterBox, you aren’t just wasting money on a phone case, you’re throwing away the money spent on your phone.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worst case, zero drop protection If I could give it a negative 5 star I would… I just bought a new iPhone 14 pro and spent $50 on this case to protect my investment… dropped my phone hardly 2 feet and my entire phone back is shattered. “Trusted protection” case doesn’t even have a scratch… phone needs $500 in repairs.. otter box better prepare to be sick of me

I’ve had my case and phone for more than 9 months and dropped it countless times on many surfaces and it hasn’t cracked. The chai color hasn’t been altered by any of my clothing. I love this case!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Case povides NO protection for 3' high drop! Brand new iPhone 14 Pro. Purchased the Symmetry Case AND OtterBox Alpha Glass screen protector. Then, it was my FIRST AND ONLY DROP from 3' height. Others have noted that the case is too slippery. Because of that, my phone slipped out of my hand. As a result of the lack of camera protection, the hard surface impact caused the back of the iPhone case to shatter. Also cracked was the glass bezel that surrounds the 3 camera lenses on the back of the phone. SOooo disappointed with this OtterBox product. I have used OtterBox cases for over 30 years. However, after this experience, I will most likely not buy one of their products again.

Unfortunately, the glass on the back of my iPhone completely shattered the first time I dropped the phone on a tile floor. I thought OtterBox cases could handle that. I’ve dropped my iPhones on cement sidewalks with other cases, and nothing happened. What happened with “3X as many drops as military standard”? Was a long time customer.

I really don’t even know. I didn’t drop it but out of nowhere my phone was shattered. Now the case is falling apart out of nowhere and doesn’t even hold the phone in.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 12 year Otterbox Customer says goodbye! 12 year OtterBox customer here! Bought this case for my iPhone 14 Pro and let me tell you - it’s garbage. I’m not sure what happened to the “leaders in protective phone cases” product, but it is certainly not worth the price, nor is it protective. After my phone slipped from my hands, and fell a measly 2 feet, the entire back glass shattered. I have NEVER had an Otterbox fail me, particularly during such a minor incident. Do yourself a favor - do your research and buy elsewhere. That’s what I’ll be doing.

But if you buy any type of glass protector for the back camera on this phone, the opening on the back of this case will not fit. I actually purchased 2 of these one clear, one glitter and neither fit so the phone is not completely sitting in the case on the camera side. I am going to have to buy a brand that fits. I am suer disappointed. I have only been buying otter box for 10 plus years.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Low Quality I have been using a Symmetry Series case on my iPhone 12 Pro for over a year. I got the new iPhone and ordered what I thought would be the same case—I’m not sure what happened to the quality, but this case doesn’t even seem like it was made by the same company. The case doesn’t fit the phone at all. It’s too large and doesn’t form a tight seal, and I could feel the sides of the case bending in my hand while I held the phone. The plastic also feels distinctly lower quality than and the iPhone 12 Pro Symmetry Series case. It almost feels tacky, and seems like it would have collected dust and dirt if I had continued to use the case. Disappointed that the quality wasn’t maintained in this version.

My pockets were empty or had one thing of lip balm in there but it scratched so easily! I also wasn't expecting foggy sides on this case so I am so disappointed :(

My daughter dropped the phone at school not very far to the floor and the back glass shattered. $500 to fix the back glass on a brand new phone. Case is pretty but offered no protection for an even a small drop. Unhappy we are paying so much to fix her new phone after buying an otter box. Their customer service is nice but it’s not worth the $500…not to mention the case itself was expensive.

I dropped my iPhone 14 Pro from knee height and it shattered the back glass. They will do nothing to stand behind their drop claims so I will look elsewhere for all new cases.

It lasted me about a year before it started detaching but now it won’t even hold my phone correctly since it’s coming off completely.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sadly disappointing. I've used Otterbox cases pretty much exclusively for the last 10 years, but this was my first bad experience with their product. I purchased the case with the phone, and it's lived in the case since it's purchase. Like many reviewers here, the back glass of my iPhone 14pro shattered when it dropped from a about 2.5ft. Pretty disappointed, especially with how much of a hassle it is to replace the back glass on this model iPhone. Hoping to find a better case in the mean time until I can get the glass repaired.

I was extremely surprised with otterbox so I reached out to otter box bec “they drop test them” and there’s nothing they can do besides send me a new case which is ok of them but the fact that the phone cracked and there’s no coverage, mind boggling.
