Doesn’t work with screen protectors
Doesn’t work with a glass screen protector. The case won’t let the screen protector to stay on the screen. It pushes up the corners of the glass protector.

Great Case
I've seen complaints about this case, and I don't understand why. It fits perfectly and works perfectly on my 17 pro max. My only complaint is they didn't offer them in the Apple Store this time around so I had to order from Otterbox and wait for it to be shipped.

Not Worth Buying Direct from Otterbox
I've been a loyal otterbox customer for over 10 years. This is the first I ordered directly from the website expecting better customer service, but the experience was disappointing. The iPhone 17 Pro Max case wasn’t what I expected due to the open camera slot, so I requested a return. I had to follow up twice just to avoid extra fees, and the refund took nearly three weeks with multiple follow-ups. They also didn’t refund tax or shipping, and their responses felt dismissive repeatedly saying they “checked their records” never promised a free return ?? with no apology or flexibility. I could’ve sworn they said it was a courtesy shipping label waived, and you’d think most companies nowadays offer a free first return. Even after I apologized for the misunderstanding, they were still rigid.
Overall, not worth the hassle. I’ll stick to Amazon for better prices and smoother service.

Cheap, quality diminished
The volume button popped off almost immediately when I had to remove the case. Pretty worthless. I have had otter box cases since my first smartphone (well over a decade ago) - and this is the first time one has disappointed

Good but not perfect.
It is a great case, however there are two things I would change. There is no aligning magnet that all previous mag cases had and I wish it covered the camera plateau.

MagSafe not strong. Skip it.
The magnet is not strong on this one. My MagSafe wallet fell off several times with a light touch and I almost dropped my phone. My previous case was the very same one and I did not have that issue.

Good Lightweight Case
Excellent lightweight case. If your phone lives in you purse/briefcase, this is the phone case for you. While it’s not as robust as other Otterbox products, it’s good enough for general protection. I would add a screen protector and camera lens protector with this case.

Overpriced plastic and a horrid experience with CS
Overpriced standard plastic for $60!? Horrible camera control included!!! They charge you $5 for returns that take 3 weeks and then will refund the wrong amount!! And then you have to take more time out of your life to email them to get the correct amount back. Never again will I order from them, let alone directly.

Great Case
Once again, Otterbox has the best combination of protection and sleekness in iPhone cases. I’ve been buying Otterbox Cases since the company began making cases for iPhones. Hands down, they’re one of the best. The only thing I don’t like about the iPhone 17 Pro Max cases is they do not offer protection for the iPhone camera bar or plateau as some people call it. I hope Otterbox remedies this with some kind of camera bar protection that does NOT cover the camera lenses, just the bar around them.

Horrible customer service
The absolute worst customer service ever!!! I attempted on multiple occasions via email to return an item because it was wrong and no response to email and no response via calls after email did not work. I have used these products for years but NEVER again.
