Otterbox came to the rescue by having both in one case. The pop socket profile when the pop socket is closed is slim enough to slid into a pocket or purse which is quite nice. I've had it now for about two weeks and am very happy with my purchase.

I had hoped I could swap that on to the otterbox pop socket but they’re sadly not interchangeable. So this was ultimately a waste of $60 for me.

My son is not as careful wit my phone as I am and this case has still kept my phone in great shape and the pop socket allows me to keep a better grip and prop it up on a surface when needed. Everyone mom needs this case for all the protection and the convince of the pop socket to prop it up!!

They offered to refund me , with return of case. But asked me to pay shipping back plus it would take 15 days. That would leave me and most people without a case for the phone. So I mean unless you buy it from a store in person, so you can see if it works for you. I would look for another case. Or website.

This integrates both of these products together and it is seamless so my phone is now balanced on the table. I also love the idea that I can change out the Popsocket in the future. The back of my phone is so shattered it’s like dust. I came crawling back to Otterbox, especially now that their Defender cases are slimmer. I bought the case, personalized it with a pop socket, and the tempered glass cover. I initially ordered the wrong size, and Otterbox customer service was great. I ordered directly from Otterbox (not Amazon), and it arrived sooner than expected. Love my case. Learned my lesson...I’ll never cheat on Otterbox again. (Note: Otterbox cases are more expensive, but worth it.)

This case is fabulous, and my hand is grateful for not always being in 1/2 claw position while holding my phone. I ordered the mauve-ish color with the compass Popsocket. It’s so cool. I love it. I plan to buy my parents each one of these cases as well. I will say that the slippery case is new to me, and I have dropped the phone once or twice. No damage to the phone. I wish the case had a little bit of texture, but it’s still my favorite Otterbox to date!

I was disappointed when I got it because the pop socket doesn’t come out far enough for me to get my fingers between that and the phone. Also I like my cases to come out over the phone and not flush with the screen. How will this case protect my phone if I drop it if it’s flush with the screen. Very disappointed with this case. Wish I’d have never bought it. My husband threw away the packaging so I can’t return it.

Lo and behold, the model I bought seemed no better than a regular phone case. The "popper" on the back was not functional as a phone kickstand, so it feels like a waste of money to me. Is there a secret to getting the popper to prop your phone at an angle for reading on a table, etc.?

I guess when I’ve normally purchased pop sockets and placed them on myself, I put them a little more towards the upper half of phone. I’m 6-5 and have large hands/fingers, and it’s just not ergonomic enough for me. My 5-4 wife tried it out and thought the integrated pop socket was comfortable. I would return the product but my large hands actually broke the integrated pop socket.

However I was not able to charge it wirelessly on our car pad :(. Luckily it’s easier then my precious Otterbox to pop the case off to allow for car charging. And of course I’ve already dropped it a few times, and it’s done it’s job well!

It’s surprisingly sleek and less bulky than other cases I’ve used, even with the pop socket built into the design. My biggest complaint is that there are no rubber gripping points on the back side of the case. The smooth back makes it slide right off certain surfaces. If you can remember to put your phone screen side down each time, this is less of a concern. Overall, it’s a really nice case!

Recommend keeping them separate. I was excited about this built in version but it has been disappointing. It is too small so you always have to fully open it to use.

The only issue I have was the packaging. Why add all this useless plastic? You advertise the cases to be so strong, they should easily survive delivery without all the waste !!!!

And I love how sturdy the case is and the fact that it gives me something substantial to hold on to without fear of my phone slipping from my hand.

I travel a lot and I drop things, so having an Otterbox to protect my phone from a rigorous environment (and from me! is a lifesaver! (I should also say that as a returned Peace Corps Volunteer whose brand loyalty was forged in a small village in Mali, West Africa, I appreciate products that last forever. And I like buying from a company with a social conscience.)

I love otter box, used to get the defender, then fell in love with the Commuter series, which you don’t seem to have anymore, so I tried Symmetry. I decided on the Pop Case because I would have spend extra money to buy a pop socket if my case didn’t have one. What a great feature, as sometimes the Popsocket adhesive wears down, especially in warm conditions. Onto the actual case. It’s very pretty, but asp pretty slippery, which has caused it to slip out of hand a few times already. The bumper on the front doesn’t give me much faith that it will be protected against a face down drop as past cases I’ve had. Especially because I put on a glass protector, it’s almost flush with the bumper edges. Lastly, I understand that a built in popsocket takes up case real estate, but I am concerned that there isn’t any padding/shock protection on the inside of the case. I guess I need more time than a couple of weeks to see how I really like it, but these are my observations so far.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for smaller hands! I bought the symmetry OtterBox PopGrip case so my phone would fit into my pocket more easily. But the case has an unexpected feature! My small, arthritic hands barely wrapped around my regular-sized OtterBox PopGrip case. With the symmetry case, I can hold my phone and easily reach around to the PopGrip very comfortably! I recommend anyone with smaller hands or arthritis to buy a symmetry case. You won’t regret it!

If you want a pop socket on your phone get it, let alone if you haven’t had one they set your phone up and help you hold it from falling on you face like rn at 1:30 am as I type this, thank you otterbox

I had a regular pop socket in the past and it worked better for me. HOWEVER, the design is great to avoid catching on the lip of your pocket

I've been wanting a PopSocket on the back of my phone, but they looked clunky and stuck out so far from the back of the phone. So I was excited to see this design where 1 the PopSocket is built into the phone (indented a bit in the back so it doesn't stick out like it would with just the PopSocket and 2) you can change out the design as much as you want!

The pop socket is easy to change, and allows for easy customization. I do wish the sides went up a little higher, as I have a slight crack on my screen protector that I think could have been avoided. Other than that, this is a great product.

The cases fit snug and are the only drop proof advertised cases that the screen doesn’t crack ever when the phone is dropped! I’m clumsy and drop my I phone unfortunately, often. The case with the pop socket helps because I pop the pop socket out and then it’s smaller so I can get better grip and put it between my fingers without fear of dropping my phone when my hands are full. Love this case 10/10 would recommend to anyone it’s awesome!

I replaced it with the warranty but within a few weeks the same piece broke off my new case. I’m very disappointed and debating whether it’s worth it to pay the warranty fee for a second time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not what I had hoped This case was as high quality as I had come to expect from Otterbox, and I believe it is probably one of the most safe cases among the ones I own. I was disappointed in the pop socket feature. It did not lay as flush as I had hoped so the back does not lay flush against a table. I was able to use my wireless charging pad, but had to be more careful to arrange it on the pad to enable charging. Last, my real disappointment was in the socket itself. When I extended fully I could barely get my (male hand fingers underneath the socket to hold the phone. And when I would use it to tilt my phone on a table, the socket would usually collapse closed unless I very gingerly set the phone down. I’ve switched back to previous cases.

Tried chat, completing form and calling to report issue, but “due to COVID” keep getting f circular response of no assistance available and to try other method of contact. Do not believe it is isolated to this specific purchase; think it is just the entire line. For a $65+ purchase, this is unacceptable.

This one is much more slim and easier to handle and I love that it has the pop socket already build it. Clips easily into my pop socket vent in my car for hands free use while driving! Not only is it easy to install but Otterbox gives you the option to stand the phone up at the perfect angle on a table or desk. I didn’t think that I would like that option but it is one of my favorite features.

It can hold your cash, credit cards. Has a pop socket kickstand. Can wirelessly charge. Also, it must function as a powerbank too. Is a solar option too much? At first I was a little skeptical about the pop socket being built into the case, but honestly it doesn't bother me at all and it's nice having it.
