I love that this case has the built in pop socket that you can switch out with ANY pop socket you want. It fits better in my car mount and it looks so cute!!

Not too bulky anymore and have always provided the best protection for these expensive phones. However, this one doesn’t seem to be like the others. Seem too thin and the PopSocket that’s built into it, doesn’t seem to pop out like the original PopSocket. I hope the Otter protection works as well as the past. The jury is still out. We will see when I have my first drops. Fingers crossed. I am going to give it a recommendation only bc of the history Otter has, but it’s really a 50/50 recommendation.

When I decided to purchase the new iPhone 12 I knew I would want an Otterbox case to protect it. I also wanted the pop socket feature since the new phone was larger than my previous phones. I am delighted you offered one, and am pleased with the comfort, protection, and attractiveness of this case.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great case but some hangups for me I love these cases and I was sold on them with my iPhoneX and have been using them ever since for the convenience of having a pop socket and wireless charging. I continued using it with my 11 pro and now have if on my 12 pro. Only reason I don't give it 5 stars is because I use 4 wireless chargers throughout my day and now with this case I have to remove the pop for 2 of those chargers. It must just be a little too far of a distance for them. I realize that the description says that the pop may have to be removed for some devices but that kinda defeats the glory of this product. I'm still happy with it and it works fine with the Otterspots that I love, but it loses a star just for that minor "first world problem."

However, it does not allow the phone to charge on a mag safe charger. So if you aren’t using a wireless charger, I would recommend, but if using a wireless charger do not purchase.

Didn’t even have it 6 weeks before it completely cracked all over. I’ve never dropped it or done anything outside of the norm with it. Also the pop socket kept falling out. I’ll never waste my money on otter box again. Id rather light bills on fire for warmth.

The case is okay, but the disc for the Pop feature actually inhibits wireless charging. You have to pop it off in order to wirelessly charge, which is pretty much a fail in my book.

The material and quality for the iPhone 12pro case seems to have been degraded unfortunately. If you haven’t even used this case, then you may like it a lot.. I’m just use to the ones for the iPhone 10 and this one is way worse. Why change a good thing?:(

And the back is not flat so it doesn’t work with my magnetic phone dock. So literally it’s just a case with a pop socket which I could have bought for $10

The colours are beautiful and it is so easy to hold with the pop. It’s very sleek and fits easily in the hand. I would highly recommend Otterbox to anyone!

My old otterbox with pop socket charged just fine but for some reason this one will not which is a pain to remove it every time you want to charge your phone.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Little Disappointing I was hesitant to get an iPhone 12 because I loved the Otter + Pop Symmetry series case on my iPhone 7. When I discovered OtterBox made the same one for the iPhone 12, I ordered it, along with a new phone. I feel very confident that the phone is protected -- which really is the number one priority - and I love that the pop socket is almost flush with the back. Those are the main reasons I bought it again. But, I can't help being disappointed overall, with this version. It's *really* difficult to get on and off. The volume up button is stiff as if it's not placed quite right. And I can see a sliver of metal in the notch at the top which gives the appearance of the phone not being in all the way. I knew going in that it wouldn't work with the wireless chargers, so I won't knock it for that. But ... given that and the other issues, I'm a "meh" on this one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not as advertised: support sucks I bought this directly from Otterbox and was surprised that the case was not as advertised. Both the listing and support said yes it will work with wireless charging and it doesn’t. I called in and the staff have 0 knowledge on their products (I’ve spoken with multiple reps furthermore I told them the case interferes with my 5G antenna and if the case is on it screws up audio on calls when I take it off everything is fine. Otterbox was a company I bought from and have told others is the only way to go for almost a decade and now they seem to be just another branch on the tree of poorly minded companies that do not train their staff appropriately and incorrectly represent their products or incorrectly test their products.

However, it doesn't fit properly on the pop socket car mount which is annoying. Most annoyingly, I dropped my phone and the pop socket itself completely broke off. The plastic broke and now the reason I bought this case is ruined. I'm disappointed that I spent so much money on a product that broke so easily.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Repeat Purchase I purchased this for a larger phone and thought surely, I could get away without using an integrated popsocket otterbox now that I have a smaller phone. Nope. I couldn't do without the security and protection of the otterbox case and the security of the popsocket to safely grip the phone for use and for standing. Being able to change out the popsocket top is a plus, but it's really about the handling of the phone. I don't worry about drops because the popsocket is reliable, and I don't worry about drops because if it did slip, I know my phone is protected.

Glass screen protector was received crushed and returned for credit. Case is very stiff and doesn’t quite fit my 12 Pro phone. Pop socket is also stiff and doesn’t support as a stand as my previous set did. Will not purchase Otterbox again.

Back of case is just plastic with no rubber backing. While the pop socket hide feature is great, the phone case suffers protection for back glass.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Almost Perfect The design of this case is what drove me to purchase it. I really like Pop-sockets, but didn't like how it added thickness to the overall phone. This case integrates (and in-sets the Pop-socket base so when it's closed, the back profile of the phone is more flush with the overall case. Unfortunately, months later, I was about to pop out the socket and the entire Pop-socket fell completely off. I noticed that the plastic base cracked and wasn't holding the Pop-socket in place. This scenario could have been disastrous if I was out and about, but fortunately, I was home and it dropped onto a carpeted floor. Rather than a cheap, thin plastic base, Otterbox should have used a stronger, better material that would hold up over time. I hope this is improved going forward.

However, a very big downside is that it doesn’t charge on my wireless charger, even when I take the pop socket off the back. I’ve purchased other otter box pop socket cases that have been able to charge wirelessly. It’s disappointing, as this was one of the main reasons I purchased this case.

My issue is with the fact that the specifications say that the pop top needs to be removed in order to charge and something I thought I could deal with as I’ve had pop top products before. So what that I might have to take off the pop top to charge my phone? The problem is that the pop top is incredibly hard to put on/take off. Sometimes you think it’s properly installed and it flies right off. It’s hard to know when it is installed properly. Additionally, when I have to take the pop top off to charge at this point multiple times a day my phone does not always charge. I’ve had the same chargers and phone just a different case and did not have this issue before. I would not recommend buying this case if you’re looking for a phone case with a pop top/similar product that also charges. The 2 stars are because I do like how the case looks.

And it helps secure the phone in your hands so I feel less likely to drop it. The only drawback to it was that I bought a wireless charger to use and it doesn’t work with this case even though it is marketed to do so. Wouldn’t work with the pop socket on or off.

I loved the one for my old phone but my current one makes it so the increase sound button on my iPhone is incredibly hard to press. The rest of the buttons work fine. I ended up just getting another case instead from another manufacturer instead and this case is sitting in my drawer. It definitely protects the phone but I need to be able to adjust the volume.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic case! I love this case! I’ve used Otterbox cases for years and they’ve served me flawlessly; this one is no different. It’s very sturdy and perfectly protective without being bulky. This is definitely the most attractive heavy-duty case out there. And the built-in Popsocket is so great! I love using Popsockets, and having it integrated into the case itself makes for a slimmer profile while still being effective. It does feel a tiny bit tighter on your fingers, as the integrated design means there’s a little less space between the Popsocket base and top. But I find it to be very minimal and does not at all hinder my use of the Popsocket or phone. I also purchased a mirror Popsocket and although its a bit more bulky than a regular Popsocket (how many times can I use that word in one review?, this case naturally takes some of that bulkiness away! Highly recommend.

I've already dropped my phone a few times and it did it's job and protected it. I got the purple and I love the shimmer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome case as usual Have used an otter box case for my last 3 iPhones without disappoint. I’m not horribly reckless with my phone, but tend to be drop-prone. Otter box cases have never failed to appropriately protect my phone. I’ve had an iPhone 12 pro for about a month, have had 2 drops with no issues. I love how the pop socket collapses into the built in groove so I can easily slide and carry the phone in my pocket. Love the color/design, the appearance looks true to form to the online picture. Putting the case on or taking it off is relatively easy. I have yet to try wireless charging with this case. With all that I’ve experienced so far, I highly recommend this case.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Phone Case with one MAJOR problem I bought this phone case for one of my daughters. The case is of nice quality as expected from OtterBox. It looks like it will adequately protect her iPhone 12 Pro and it has the pop socket for her to more comfortable and securely hold the phone. The problem? The phone won't wirelessly charge properly. We read the description before purchasing because we only use wireless chargers in our house. The instructions say it works with Wireless, you just may need to remove the pop socket to wireless charge, which we have been doing. However, it just won't lay in the stand and charge. The charging symbol comes up, but it will only charge about 5% over night, sometimes stopping along the way. If we take the case off it charges fine (and other cases, like the OtterBox Commuter work perfectly fine with Anker Wireless charging stands. If you don't plan on using Wireless Charging this is a great case. If you plan on using wireless charging, I would not purchase this case. PS: I have tried opening a customer support returns case via their website for 3 days, at which it keeps saying they are under scheduled maintenance... :(

Also, I have a couple emails requesting a refund and no answer in a week now. Disappointed in the brand and probably won't be purchasing from them again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Title I’ve had this Otter+pop case for iPhone 12 for about two weeks. It contains the phone securely and does not interfere with normal operation. Exterior surfaces provide a good balance between finger grip and slip-into-pocket. The popsocket does not interfere with secure placement in the car’s dash-mount. It would be better if the popsocket could prop up the phone vertically as well as horizontally.

I need to press down on the button so hard just to lock my phone! I've been a Symmetry user for YEARS but this one is disappointing and it isn't cheap either for such a defect!

Also, the first day I had it, the Pop Top detached from its small button-size black plastic base and it is impossible to put back on. (Literally, impossible. No one on YouTube can do it either. I'm very unhappy that I paid $64.45 for this item and now my wireless charger is useless to me and the Pop Socket is now broken off of it also. I would definitely not by this again. (I threw away the package or I would return it.)

The only negative that I have is that it seemed to be loose on the corners after a couple weeks of use. The case material is pliable in design but I feel like it should still fit snug. Might have to order a different case if it gets any worse and my phone is able to fall out. Other than that the case works great!

The durability is without question, and the designs keep getting more fun. However, this case does NOT work with wireless charging, as advertised, even with the pop socket removed. This was really disappointing as I purchased a wireless pad, excited to try it out. Love the case and its fluidity with the pop socket. Disappointed in the QI functionality - this NEEDS to be removed from advertisement on the case, as it is not accurate to the product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great case so far I had the pop symmetry series case for my iPhone 8 and liked it, so when I upgraded my phone, I figured I would stick with a familiar case that protected my phone well for a year and a half. I got this case about a month ago and it’s holding up well after a few clumsy fumbles from my hands or pockets. I really enjoy how much protection this case offers while not being bulky. I like that the popsocket is built into the case, an additional step of security compared to the typical pop socket sticky pad. I think that the location of the popsicles on the case is good to reach the areas of the screen as well as comfortable holding the phone. The one downside to the popsocket integration is the small indent that recesses the popsocket into the case for a low profile. This is nice for putting your phone in a pocket, but to use a popsocket holder (like one for the car you have to pull the grip out a bit in order to slide it into the slot. Hasn’t been a big issue, just something to note

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Disappointed with 12 pro case I love the pop + symmetry case and when I upgraded to iPhone 12 Pro, ordered the same style I had previously for the new phone. The protection of the phone is the same but I can no longer charge wirelessly. With my previous phone, I could charge without even needing to take off the pop socket. That’s not the case with the 12 pro case. It’s a big hassle to take the case off every time to charge but it’s either that or back to using regular charging cable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not as good as previous versions This is my third pop+otter case. The first two for my X and 11 Pro were great. This one is not as good. The case is extremely hard to get off once it’s on. I almost feel like I’m going to bend my phone trying to get it out. But the biggest issue for me is that I prefer to charge with a cable and the case doesn’t allow the new usb-c to lightning fast charge cable to connect. The housing on this cable is slightly larger than the housing on the usb-a to lightning cables. I had to literally bend the rubber around the housing to even get it in the hole and I can feel the case pushing back against it. That’s going to eventually deform the case along the bottom edge.

For someone with larger fingers it is not the most ideal. The pro of the flush mounted pop socket, marginally out weighs the con of the space for your fingers to hold the phone.

The pop socket on the back is the new kind that you twist to take off. So it’s easy to change out. I tried to stick my dash magnet on the inside of the case but the case is too thick for the magnet to work. (I used to hide the magnet in the hollow part of the old pop socket.) Overall, happy with the purchase. Just wish the gray part was a silicone material and that the case was MagSafe

I am not able to charge my phone wirelessly with this case on even without the poptop. Don't waste your money if you have switched to all wireless chargers like I have done. Just a waste of $50..

I switched all my chargers to wireless and now have to buy charging cables. A REAL FLAW in the design if you ask me. I’ve never had the Symmetry one before and it was somewhat difficult to put on and I’m sure it will be difficult to remove but I don’t plan on taking it off anytime soon.

They did not account for the lost space to slip your fingers under the pop socket and it’s very tight and uncomfortable to hold. Also- the pop socket is not totally flush with the back- it still sticks out. It does not charge on a magnetic charger like it says it will. The case itself if not as protective as my previous otter boxes. Very disappointed, especially for the price.
