Rated 5 out of 5 by from Form and function! I bought the Otter + Pop Symmetry case with the nebula print in early March, right after I ordered my new iPhone 8 from Apple. I'm so thankful for both... because I'm able to use my phone to easily connect during this time of isolation, and because it has fallen out of my fluffy robe several times and the OtterBox case has protected it! I don't know how folks are getting devices repaired these days, and I really don't want to find out! The design is sleek and eye-catching, with the blue, pink, and purple nebula. And the PopSocket has been very helpful as a grip and kickstand... I use it so much that I may wear it out (if so, it's easily replaceable)! I'm experimenting with the mount now, and I've found that if you pop the grip out a little, then mount it and push it back in, it seems to stay. We'll see how that works in the car once I have someplace to go! Thanks again for making a great product, OtterBox!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from not the quality i was expecting for the price the rubber edges of the case around my phone's screen started peeling layers the second day after i received it in the mail. not sure if it was from rubbing in my pocket? but the case is far too expensive to not be of quality. disappointed. however the pop socket actually in a socket in the phone to fit properly flush against the case is a unique design. love the prints.

I have gone through numerous broken screens and cases so I’m hoping this one will prevent that. I have not dropped my phone in this case yet. I love the new sleek design and built in pop socket! The PopSocket is one of the most useful things ever and it's awesome that it is built into the phone so I don't have to worry about adhesives. All phones these days are too big, so it's the only thing that lets me hold my phone comfortably! The case itself seems very sturdy and feels like it will do a good job protecting my phone.

However this cover is the best one I’ve had yet. It’s particularly slim and has the built in pop so is easy to stand up and text in one hand. It gives added comfort with little people around too as it certainly takes the knock if the phone is dropped. Great cover that I’d recommend to anybody.

So I did, choosing Otterbox as recommended by my husband who has one. I plumped for an Otter+pop. symmetry series in a delightful dusky pink. (Quality box too! it has a tough hard plastic back in Matt texture with a nifty popgrip. The front edge is a dark grey rubbery material. All suits me with its look and feel. I haven’t had it long and fortunately haven’t dropped my phone to test those corners !!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Almost perfect for me! My husband and I both have Otterbox phone cases and we think they are the best! They are very durable, easy to put on, and fit perfectly. All functions (buttons, etc.) work without a hitch. I really love this design because it’s smooth back and rounded edges allow my phone to slip in and out of pockets with ease. The adjustable pop socket is a great feature! I can still use my wireless charger because the socket can be pushed into the case. The only thing is that it’s not completely flush so my phone wobbles whenever I try to use it on a flat surface with one hand. It’s something I personally do a lot while I’m multitasking, but not a deal breaker!

Functional in that I trust it will protect my phone when I accidentally run over it in my truck (just like my first OtterBox did but it's made of a slippery material and I drop it a lot. It's too thin for my liking. Also be really careful when buying Pop Sockets for this because not all of them work with the case. Already on the lookout for a replacement case. (Will obvs be another OtterBox just not this style.)

The socket is truly low profile and it never gets stuck on my pockets. I will say that bc it is inset, the amount it extends past the cast is less so it is a bit tighter on my fingers. Not a big deal for me as a woman but may be a consideration for men with larger fingers

The sides are rubber, so it is easy to grip. The only downside is that it doesn't lie flat on a hard surface like a desk due to the pop socket sticking out a little bit. So, if you start using the phone, it will tilt and rock a little bit.

I like something a little bulkier so I have an easier time handling the phone. Also with all Otter-boxes I wish they would have a rubber backing so they don’t slip off of surfaces. Thats the main reason I purchase other brands. An Otterbox is very easy to slide off of any surface due to the slick backing.

Within two days of putting my new phone case on my phone the rubber started peeling like a sunburn. It looks awful. And there is no customer service. You can’t reach them by phone or through the website. They have a recording about not having customer service by phone, send you to website and the website gives you the number to call, sending me in circles! a frustrating situation all-around. I will never buy another Otter Box case again.

Such a slim line with the PopSocket fit in the molded case, and I love that it can removed and switched up to customize. The trim color on the blue case coordinates nicely. So much better than a bulkier case with PopSocket added. Would buy this model again!

I am used to using a defender, but wanted to try a slimmer case. I was worried at first that it was too slim and slippery, but it has not been a problem. I think the attached pop socket helps to make it easy to hold onto and the slimness has its benefits. I added a glass screen protector as well. I like the galaxy design.

I was a bit nervous to buy a case with “less protection,” in my opinion, but so far I have had no issues and my phone is still in one piece. This case is adorable to the eyes, but extremely functional. The Popsocket works well and is sturdy. All of the buttons align perfectly. The case, overall, made my phone a lot less bulky than my original Otterbox case, and I can finally hold it and text with one hand. It’s much better and I highly recommend this case if you want both protection and a slim case.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So much lighter than the Defender series Bought this a couple weeks ago. I've had it a little over a week now and like it pretty well. It' so much lighter than the Defender Series cases I've used for years. The old defender case was so heavy that it would actually drag my pants down. This is light and easy to carry. Concerns: 1. Without built-in screen protection, I'm constantly worrying about dropping it and damaging the screen (I purchased a 3rd party screen protector); 2. when I'm listening to music on my phone and it's in the belt clip on my belt, it has a tendency to accidentally increase the volume significantly when I bend over in my office chair (literally blasts me out, hurting my ears); 3. Front protection in general scares me a bit (I'm not so sure that it could handle front facing drop like the defender has done on numerous occasions; and 4. There is no Otter box belt clip for this case (at the time of purchase), forcing me to buy a 3rd party case. I purchased this case for my work phone (iPhone 8), so a belt clip was important. I also don't like carrying my phone in my pocket, so a belt clip was a must.

I have only dropped it a few times and was a little disappointed that it left small knicks but thats only because I am used to the defender series case that was on my old iPhone SE. That’s why I gave it ???????? But other then that, for me; the slim design is just my style and the built in changeable pop is a bonus

It works great, it looks great, it’s easy to put on my phone... but the rubber frame is already incredibly worn out. I haven’t dropped it, it hasn’t been through anything rough, but it already looks like I’ve had this case for ages because the rubber is so frayed. It’s a huge disappointment because I expected better quality from otterbox

I also noticed that my phone could not be charged wirelessly with the case on, as stated in the description. I know it's not my wireless charger because I have an old Otterbox case that I've been using and it works perfectly fine.

But when I put my phone face down on other surfaces while using this case and a glass screen protector, buttons start getting pressed. Wish it was a little more heavy duty and the rubber edges were a little bulkier for protection.

I purchased this for my nephew for Christmas, there was no screen protector in the box, very disappointing as every other case I have purchased has come with one included in the box. The cases are first class however this order has fallen well short of my expectations due to the fact no screen protector was included, an integral part of the package for a young person with a phone! Severely disappointed by this Otterbox.

Otter box is a good brand my whole fam has their cases and we are pretty clumsy, never had a problem with my phone when I drop it. If you are thinking about getting an otter box but concerned about the price, a $50 case is very small compared to a screen replacement or new phone all together.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Poorly Designed The Pop Socket is recessed too far into the case itself which makes the profile better in the pocket however, since it is recessed so far down into the case it is difficult to utilize the Pop Socket fully when you deploy it and wrap your fingers around it. It's very difficult to get a grip on the phone and the case is slippery in the hand. The Pop Socket on the case will also not work with the Pop Socket Car vent product.

I use a pop socket car mount and had problems with the sockets breaking off their base but I haven experienced that with this case. It's very slim but still protective and I love how there's a divot in the case where the pop socket is so it doesn't stick out and make it more bulky. The only downside to this case is that the rubber bumper of the case has already started peeling off in layer within the past one month of use.

It's not big and bulky, yet it's sturdy and provides great protection from drops. The built in pop socket is a great feature for grip and propping up for videos. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love the Built-In Pop-Socket! I really like the iPhone SE Pop-Symmetry case. I got the lilac dusk color which looks really nice. I’m very happy with the built-in pop socket. I’ve had a separate pop-socket for other phone cases in the past, but they would always fall off eventually. On my current case, I don’t have to worry about that. The pop also is handy for taking pictures, playing games, etc. The case itself provides good protection and isn’t slippery-the darker part that goes around the screen-has a non-slip texture. The pop socket is virtually flush with the back of the case, when not in use. So, it’s no problem fitting it into my pocket. The only reason I gave 4 stars is because the case doesn’t come with a screen-protector. It does have a beveled edge, but nothing to put on the screen. So, I still have to be careful about having my phone in my purse.

It is a little finicky, but it does work to wireless charge when it's on the charger just right. And I do love the pop socket on it, and the design is pretty. It feels like a sturdy case, but I haven't tested it by dropping my phone yet.

The volume buttons on the side seem to stick out enough that as I slide it in & out of the pocket of my purse or even just handle it normally, the volume is going up & down. I never know where it'll be & have missed several calls because it was turned down. I'm going back to my Commuter.

The top can still be switched out the same way any other popsocket can be switched out. The case design is not bulky and the shape better contours to my hand. I love the Otterbox beveled edge approach to protection. This case follows the signature brand approach. Given the cost of an iPhone, even the SE, it’s worth spending a few extra bucks on a quality case that will protect your phone from impacts. I purchased this case for my daughter’s phone. I have an Otterbox case for my iPhone as well, and now wish I had this case design for it. I also love the number of designs available online. Picking out the design for the case really let my daughter make the phone hers. We had a lot of fun picking one out. The case came with it’s own popsocket top, but we also headed over to popsocket and picked out a new top to exchange out.

Now I’m getting older and losing things, because everything I own is black, and I can’t find them. I bought my white otterbox, I’ve had several before, and the case is white, but the trim around the front is all black. This was not shown online, all I saw was the white back. I love the case, but I need to get a different one, because if it's on the table screen up it is all black, again.

I thought that otterbox and popsocket would be just as reliable together as they are alone. After about 2-3 weeks, the part of the case where the popsocket connects broke. So I can no longer use the popsocket feature of this case. I could still use the case, but I am not able to use it with a popsocket. Huge disappointment :(

It looks nice and I like the Pop Socket interchangeability. It IS NOT compatible with Qi wireless charging devices as advertised, even after taking off the Pop Socket (I can remove the case and it works fine, which was the whole reason for buying this case.

Also, if I want to watch a show, propping the phone up with that knob is so much better than a flimsy kickstand. It protects nicely and . . . it's beautiful! What more can you want? But also, I previously had an otterbox case for 3 1/2 years and it was still going strong. So that is why I purchased this one and it didn’t disappoint. It’s nice a thin and doesn’t make your phone bulky and the plastic part of the case is smooth but not too smooth to where it will slip from your hand. I haven’t dropped my new phone once in this case because of the nice grip I can have with it on, with or without the pop socket being out. Overall it was a great purchase and I will definitely be buying from them again.

I called I emailed no less than 5 times to no avail to try to get an address to try and mail the iPhone case back in exchange for a iPhone 8+ case or get my money back. The only response I have rec’d is this email asking for my review.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Value - Asset Protection The case is strong but comfortable. The built-in PopSocket on the on the back of the case works really well. Overall is a good value if you want to protect you device. I bought this for my wife’s new iPhone SE 2nd Gen and she loves it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this phone protector Best phone protector I have had. It has a slender profile and the materials have a nice smooth feel. It also has an integrated pop out on the back of the phone. A little expensive but well worth it.

But couldn’t find a polar white and gray commuter case for my IPhone 8 . But found out quickly that I really love this symmetry case very sturdy and protective also . I haven’t really use the pop socket as of yet .

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Meh Not really worth the $50. Only bought because it had a pop socket but essentially a $10 cover. Also shipping is ridiculous so got roped into buying a dumb detail kit to get free shipping.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Case This is my second purchase of this case - the first one, purchased almost two years ago, held up well. The pop socket did break off after about a year, but I used it a lot. Was able to super-glue it back on for a few months. Eventually cracked a bit (probably weakened by the super-glue, which is why I purchased a new case even though the old one was still perfectly functional. I look forward to getting another two years out of this one!
