The only draw back and the reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is it doesn’t work well with wireless charging. If you want to fiddle with it forever to try to get it to work it might. It was just easier to take it off if I wanted to do wireless charging. The built in pop socket is great and lays flat with the case. So it doesn’t add bulk.

Well daughter returned hers because socket doesn’t come out far enough to feel comfortable in her fingers. My son wasn’t sure either but said he’d try and took it back to college so not sure if he loves it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Popsocket integration fail The popsocket is embedded / recessed into the body of the otter box by approx 3-4mm which takes away that space you need in order to comfortably slide your fingers under and around it when it’s popped out. It’s a major design thinking flaw. The recessed popsocket looks cool when shoved into its place, but ergonomically doesn’t work well at all for reason mentioned. They either need the pop base directly on back of otter box as is or need to develop custom popsocket that is longer for recessed flush mount idea.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Seems ok I was a little disappointed because the fit at the bottom is not as good as the rest of the phone. It seems a bit loose. Also it is extremely difficult to remove it from the phone and it is very bulky. I was really excited about the popsocket at the back but it doesn't work very well, it's like it cannot balance the weight of the phone very properly so it's difficult to make it work, it always takes me a couple of tries to get my phone standing still. It only works on hard surfaces, sometimes I try on the couch or bed but it doesn't work. It was quite expensive but as long as it does the job and protects my iPhone I'm happy.

And being able to charge it on wireless charger is fabulous. Now what I hated is that it took so long to get to me ,please upgrade mail processing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worst Case I’ve Ever purchased I usually love Otterbox but this case is the worst I’ve purchased, it’s heavy and the pop socket grip doesn’t allow you enough room for your fingers also because the case is so heavy the phone falls over if you prop it on it’s side which defeats the point of the pop socket. I have always used Otterbox and I am a loyal consumer but I’ve switched to another brand now.

Would only recommend if you want the pop for a handle, not for a kickstand.

Mind you, I have toddler with sticky hands that watches Netflix on the phone and I've dropped it plenty times, have even dropped it from 4ft up and not a dink or a scratch.

The only drawback I've found is that the phone won't lie flat with the Pop Button on the back but it's not a deal breaker!

My phone was protected from my 2 kids (3 & 7) and survived many drops on hardwood floors, concrete, etc. When I decided to get a new phone and immediately checked OtterBox and saw that they made a built in pop symmetry. My previous case had a pop that stuck on with an adhesive. The case is great. Same fantastic quality that you'd expect from OtterBox, however the Pop placement seem to be a bit off. My phone falls over when using the Pop. It falls over more frequently when the phone is resting on it's right side and that is side you want on the bottom. The volume controls are on the left side, so you don't have access to the volume. It's annoying. Bottom line. Would I recommend OtterBox, yes, however I would not recommend this product.

I had the same kind of case for my iPhone X and the wireless charging always worked great, as long as I took the pop socket off. Sadly, with the new case it doesn't work, even if I remove the pop socket. I have tried on 3 different wireless charges and none seem to be able to charge my phone with the new case on. That is really a bummer. Hopefully they can correct this. Other than that I really like the case. The built in pop socket is great, and so far the case has protected my phone perfectly every time I have dropped it.

Now I can't set it on the arm of the sofa or on a dash board with a slight slant because it falls off. I hope it protects as well as the cases I've had in the past that had some cush to them. This case is hard. I rated it this high assuming it will still do its job of protection when impacted, though it is certainly causing more drops than the other otter cases I've had.

Only other con is the silence/sound switch is hard to reach unless you have nails because the rubber side sticks out too far.

I'm also obsessed with PopSockets, so I was very excited to see the collab between the two. I'm not sure if it's the placement of the PopSocket or the massive size of the iPhone 11 (I upgraded from iPhone 6s, but I can't use the PopSocket to prop my phone up the way I like, but the extra grip is super helpful & necessary for my small hands! As always, I know the Otterbox case is going to protect my phone & give me peace of mind.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Popsocket The idea is amazing and I really love it. But the pop socket needs to be slightly adjusted up a little bit. When rested on the pop socket it leans over and either almost tips over or tips over. The camera is heavy on the phone meaning that the center of gravity wasn’t taken into account or not calculated correctly, or the pop socket simply cannot support the weight of the phone.

My hands arent the greatest so with the case being so smooth...it does slip from my hand especially when pulling out of my purse. Thought there would be a better grip on the case to keep it from sliding from my hand.

I would have given a 5 star rating but when I went to check out it recommended a glass protector. So I added it to my order. When I got it I got the glass protector of the iPhone 8. Why would it suggest a protector for the 8 when I ordered the case for the 11. My fault for not looking, but I am still a little disappointed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Doesn't work as designed This seems like a case that will protect the phone well, so it fulfils its basic purpose. I liked the idea of the pop stand. However, because it is placed off-centre on the phone, if you try to use it then the phone tips over onto one side. If you want the phone to remain straight then you need to wedge something under the 'top' side (with the camera). This seems like a fundamental flaw. Also, while you can indeed just about charge the phone wirelessly with the case on, you have to wiggle it around several times on the charging pad before the phone senses it. I wanted to like the case. I was willing to accept the extra bulk necessary for the pop stand. However, since the stand is a bit useless I have decided to stop using the case and buy another one. This is is annoying as it's not a cheap case.

The only issue I have with the new version with the integrated Pop Socket is that it is not centered on the back of the case. It cannot be turned in the horizontal position to place it on a table or deck to watch a video. It falls over. That is my only issue. Minor, but, it should be tweaked on the next versions.

Disappointed that the popsocket isn't a bit longer given that it's recessed into the case so I've lost the ability to use the phone completely one handed. This needs to be fixed in future. Otherwise just buy the case and popsocket separately.

If the handle was centered in the back of the case I would probably give it a five. It is slightly off center from top to bottom, which means that it will spin when in a cradle hanger. Otherwise, it is a great case and looks good. I love the fact that the Pop socket is streamlined into the case.

It is indeed made of sturdy plastic that feels like better protection than previous cases I've used. The hole for the silent mode button is not aligned as well as I'd like. I like the incorporation of the Pop socket and ability to switch that with different colors. I wish the socket were designed for larger fingers - it feels as if it were designed for a child's fingers so it's not as comfortable as my adult fingers would like. I would like to see a strap I could fold over the screen to allow me to hold it without touching the screen and accidentally turning it on.

What I didn't foresee was the incorporated pop-socket not working as well with the multi-surface mount accessory I use in the car. My phone rotates more & doesn't seem as secure. Other than that, I recommend the case, but I'm not sure if I'd personally buy it again.

So sturdy and the pop socket holds up phone well for watching videos. However, this cover is rubbish for iPhone 11 , it does not hold up the phone by the pop socket. Don’t bother spending the money for bigger phones.

It arrived promptly but when I tried placed it on my phone it didn’t perform as promised. The pop out in the back does not work as a stand to view the phone, rather it tips over because it is not properly balanced, not centred properly to prop up the phone so it can be viewed.

There wasn't a scratch on my phone by the time my contract of two years ended. This is the first time i've been able to keep a phone for two years without smashing it or breaking it. So when i got an Iphone 11 i bought another case straight away. I love the POP part of the case its really handy. My only criticisim is that i wish it was a big higher up as sometimes i can't reach the top of the screen when holding it.

I do agree with the other reviews that it does not balance-- that was why it's not a five star. So, you will not be able to balance it and watch a movie on it, etc.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Ok I’ve always had otterbox defenders with having young’s kids. Now that they’re older I figured I could go with a slimmer case. LOVE the dusk color, so far I haven’t dropped my phone yet to see how “drop proof” it is. I really wish they would still have built in screen protectors but apparently thats not a thing anymore. The only real complaint that I have is the pop socket is not compatible with my pop socket vent clip. In order to hang it on there I have to pull the pop socket out in order for it to slide in. I’m not sure if I’m going to keep the case or not because I was really looking forward to using that vent clip in the car.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A good but not excellent case I had the regular symmetry case that I love but couldn’t get a brand new pop socket to stay on the back. The adhesive wasn’t strong enough and it kept coming off so I ordered this case with it built in. On a positive note I can wirelessly charge without taking the pop socket off. It has great protection around the camera module as well. It slides in your pocket easier. As far as negatives, the case is slick on the back which I don’t like as much. The pop socket being integrated doesn’t stick out as far so it’s a tight fit for my fingers to get in behind it. It works but I could see this being a huge problem for someone with bigger fingers. The overall thickness of the case is more that the regular Symmetry as well which I don’t like.

The pop located at back looking good, you can handle your phone without placing any fingers below but there is one problem. When you look at case's design, you can see that pop button is not clearly located at the middle of, this location garantee you to see your phone falling back when your are in landscape mode on videos, not usable during trip by train/plane/etc... Even without moving, put it on your desk and can simply blow on it to see what's going on... Another bad point, this case is too thick to use wireless charge. It's probably the price to pay when you want a good protection because, yes this case will prevent your phone from falling damage, for sure. The case edges are solid on back and soft on front, when you place your phone on table, disaply side facing it, only the case is in contact with table. Conclusion, I consider the price too high for not being able to enjoy the pop system on landscape view AND wireless charging.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great phone case I bought this case bc I wanted something anti-shock but also with a pop top. The case is great and the location of the pop top is fine for me. The only problem I have is that the grip isn’t so fantastic on the pop top due to the case thickness. If you’re used to holding the pop top close to the base, you’ll need pretty small fingers. I’ve had to get used to it the position of the pop top resting on my fingers more towards the rim of the pop then at the base if that makes sense. It doesn’t feel as secure or comfortable compared to using the top with a more flat case. My rec would be that popsockets needs to make a slightly longer top for otter cases so finger can really get in there!

Pros: built in pop-socket makes the phone flatter and easier to fit in a pocket; great quality case. Cons: mine doesn’t seem to quite “hug” the side all the way on one side of the front; you have to remove the pop-socket to wirelessly charge, which is a pain, so I don’t end up using the wireless charging- it is easier to just plug it in.

If you try to set the phone on it’s side using the Popsocket, the phone won’t stay-it tips onto the Popsocket. The iPhone 11 camera makes the phone top heavy, and the Popsocket isn’t placed where the weight would stay even if placed on the side.

It prevents wireless charging on my car cradle which I bought only a month ago for 50€, and 2. Outside the car altogether the pop socket doesn't prevent the phone from falling over,which it's suppose to do,so I have ended up just discarding the popsocket completely,with the result I now have a case on my phone with an indent at the back!!

The popsocket doesn't stick out far enough so it is hard to get it out quickly. The back of the case is thicker than the rest, probably to line up with the popsocket. I would have rathered a more streamline case with the popsocket sticking out. If I could go back I would have bought the non popsocket version than added one after.

This case is not as good as putting a pop socket on a regular case though and i am really disappointed. It doesn’t balance properly and only stands on one side, as the volume buttons tip it over. It also is not as comfortable to hold using the grip, probably because it doesn’t pop out as far due to the design.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works well I tried the Speck Presidio as well as the Lifeproof slam and settled in this case. It has a nice grip to it and is a matte black that doesn’t show fingerprints. I do wish the bottom was as rigid as the top of the phone as the rubber is a little malleable there. It doesn’t get “stuck” in my pocket when I try tot take it out. All in all I’m satisfied with it. The only downside is that it will not wirelessly charge with the pop socket attached.

The button on the back will not support the phone when propped on a table to watch a video. To add insult to injury, the returns process is far from straightforward. I am still waiting for confirmation that a return has been processed.

When I found out it has a pop socket integrated in it I knew I had to have it especially since it "works with wireless charging". That's the thing though. I spent extra money so I can charge wirelessly and I have to take the popsocket off. I didnt want to have to do that hints why I bought the case in the first place. Also, the popsocket feels a little small in my hand because of how its made but thats just a picky note from a popsocket enthusiast. I was disappointed because it doesn't charge wirelessly. If it only works on a few wireless chargers, they need to name them because its really upsetting thinking you found this great find and it turned out to be just okay.

The ports and buttons are easy to access. The only thing I do not like about the case is it was mentioned that you are able to wirelessly charge your phone by removing the pop stand...in my case this is not true. I’ve tried 2 different charges and I still have to remove the phone from its case.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Its good I got this becuase I always use a pop socket, it took a little bit to get use to how much tighter it is on your fingers since the case being more fitting inside takes space away from your fingers. The 2nd issue is using it as a kick stand, since the pop socket isn't center enough it is hard to get my phone to not fall over, you have to have a flat surface with no wobble and be very careful to get it to stand, very annoying honestly. I had such high hopes for this case too.

Luckily it landed on a soft step stool. As the Iphone 11 is quide large for my tiny hands, I needed something that gave me confidence when holding it and the case button on the back is great for getting a good grab on the phone. I picked pink, love the color. The shipping was surprisingly fast, ordered on a Sunday from Ireland, received it in Iceland on Tuesday.

The photos show the inside of the case is white and the pop socket base is black, however, when I received the case I was very disappointed to see that both parts are white. It looks ridiculous with the pop socket that I customized and purchased to go with the case. I wish I would’ve known ahead of time as now I have to order a new pop socket that doesn’t clash with the base.

Wish the popsocket was more centered, the case tends to tip over if I prop it on its side because of the placement. The rubber bumpers around the perimeter of the case are nice and I wish the case had more grippy areas as the rest of it is slippery.

I’m really clumsy so they are a must for me and I’m happy to pay more for the security of knowing that I can throw my phone around and not worry about it getting damaged (my last otterbox case protected my phone completely during a fall from a first floor balcony!. This case feels considerably lower quality than all of my previous cases. The inside of the back of the phone case is no longer coated with shock absorbing flexible plastic its just the same rigid plastic as on the outside of the case. The raised bezel around the edge of the screen is considerably thinner than previous cases. There is a slight lip, but not enough that I feel comfortable putting my iPhone face down. The popsocket is the only redeeming feature and pretty much the only reason I didn’t immediately send it back. So far my phone hasn’t been damaged in the week I’ve been using the case but I am still shopping around for a higher quality case. In conclusion, pretty disappointed.

The case fits the iPhone 11, but does not come around the front of the screen quite as well as some other cases (small complaint) As for the Popsocket - it is not great as a stand, it's quite hard to get the phone to stand and not fall over. I think the weight distribution of the phone vs the placement of the Popsocket don't work so well. Also, for me, the Popsocket could do with a little more clearance to allow my fingers to get more underneath would help. But it depends on your handsize of course.

I will say, the color has a bit more of a pink/fuchsia hue than I expected (the photo online is very clearly purple, looks like a purple defender case I used to have for my old android. One feature I've liked on previous otterboxes that this one lacks is the rubber stopper to cover where your charger plugs in. Overall seems like a good product, but a little different than what I expected.

The pop seemed like a great "helper" for his problems as it would allow him to not have to firmly awkwardly the phone. His new phone offers wireless changing which is also much easier for him as plugging a tiny cable in is a tremendous task. But the case did not play nice with any charger we tried. They Otterbox recommends removing the pop-out part but that makes it too difficult an operation for him to handle every day. The Otterbox's protection wins for now.

The pop socket is well positioned so you can hold the phone comfortably, BUT, there is a design flaw. When you place the phone on a flat surface with the pop socket out (like everybody does when on a face to face call, any slight movement or tapping on the screen makes the phone fall backwards....

I got tired of my regular pop sockets breaking that were attached to a different standard Otterbox so I got this case. It fits my hand well and balances just right when set down. The colors are so happy on the lemon one and matches my yellow iPhone 11 beautifully. Love it!

But I just purchased a case for my moms iPhone 11 with a stand up pop out well this pop out unit does not allow her phone to stand on its side. The pop socket is connected to my cover and goes almost flush into the cover when I'm not using it. So, its not in my way when I place it in my pocket or purse. I ordered an all black one but can still change the pop sockets to any that I like.

I’ve had two of these cases over the last year and a half, the popsocket on the case isn’t durable at all, the structure that holds it isn’t either.The case itself is decent, after a year it had one big crack but I had dropped it a few times. Otter box itself is awesome this design is faulty.

My last I phone, I had for 8 years and it lasted I’m sure becuz of the otterbox case, 2 months in, my I phone screen has hairline crack. $200 dollars to replace. Bummed ! It was not dropped. Doubting it’s protection for new screen.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not Such a great Product I’ve gotten one phone case this color and two others different colors but same design and all three of them had a crack in the middle under the pop socket all the way down the bottom. The purple one had a crack starting that I didn’t notice when I bought it but noticed as soon as I pulled it out of the box. The other two had a very slight dents when I pulled them out but those dents turned into cracks within a few days. Also let it be known I hadn’t dropped my phone when I noticed those cracks. I’m now searching for a different design of pop cases because of such problems. I unfortunately forgot to take photos of one of them I had bought but here are two of them.
