Worst Case - Warranty Doesn't Apply to iPad
We searched all over to secure this case for my son's iPad. First, as many have commented, there is no longer a screen protector. Secondly, the back piece is super awkward and the secondary piece that attaches is worse. My son set this down on the couch and my other son sat on it, normal case no problem, but with this case the iPad cracked into multiple spiderwebs, luckily we had it under warranty from apple, but still cost time and money to replace. Several weeks later, my son was showing my wife something while holding the awkward nob on the back and it slipped out of his hands. Small drop onto the floor and iPad is screen is cracked again. My wife and I strongly believe that if we didn't have this case the iPad wouldn't have been damaged either time. And from what I have read in the reviews here and else where this is very common, but the warranty only covers the case itself, absolutely ridiculous. Otterbox products have gotten worse over time and the warranty is worthless. Avoid this product like the plague.

Not Designed for Kids
We purchased an iPad and this case for our 4 year old. He dropped it and the screen shattered because there is no screen protector. It was not clear that there wasn’t a screen protector and since we had already opened it we decided to keep it. Now I’m wishing we would’ve returned it for something that was better designed to protect a child’s iPad instead of shattering the iPad the first time he dropped it.

iPad screen cracked within 5 months of use
Case failed to protect iPad from short drop which is the entire purpose of the bulky heavy case.
