Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great case, hard to use on/off button I’ve been loyal to Otterbox for 4 different iPhones now so I was dead set on getting a Symmetry case when I got the new iPhone SE. The case is great so far, tough and very snug when putting on/taking off. My only issue is it’s hard to turn the phone on and off with the case on. Not sure if it’s just me or a common issue with this phone and case.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not “rubber” all over One piece is “rubber” and the other side piece is hard plastic. This makes it thinner, but I meant to get one that’s basically all “rubber” for total protection. I’m hoping it will give me enough protection when I drop it by accident, as sometimes happens. I recommend this if u want a thinner case, and one with some protection.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from No other choice We purchased a new iPhone for my husband and then chose an Otterbox as the Otterbox has consistently protected his phones throughout the years (at least his 4th upgrade). His last case was cracked in the back but it did it’s job and protected the phone from damage. We always purchase a screen protector also ( different company). Our goal is to maximize the value of the phone for trade in $$. Success!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect protection for your phone I’ve had a symmetry case before and they’re so good that I purchased again after upgrading my phone. They last, are sturdy whilst not making your phone too bulky to fit in your pocket or bag. It also doesn’t go grubby or discoloured. Whilst at the supermarket, someone accidentally knocked my phone out of my hand. I’m sure it wouldn’t have survived the fall without the case.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this case! This case fits my IPhone 8 perfect. I love how thin it is and it fits in my pocket perfectly. It’s light weight as well. I did get a clear cover to go over my screen just in case.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sleek & durable Received this almost two weeks ago, so far it’s been really awesome... durable, not klunky, only downside is no screen protection. Do not regret my purchase so far

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Adequate Slim, nice feel in the hand. I kinda wish the case were a little sticky, maybe rubbery or something. It slides off surfaces way to easy

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very suitable Makes handling of phone much safer as it has a good grip so not likely to drop phone

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fits well. Not easy to hold. No complaints about the case. Haven’t dropped it yet to test the strength, but I find the plastic is a bit slippery and the lock button is hard to press.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just what I was looking for I needed a case that provided protection, yet slid easily in and out of my pocket. I also wanted a slim design that did not add bulk to my pocket. I have the black/black combo.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great sleek phone case Have had my case for a few days now and have taken it skiing, dropped it off the treadmill on accident and all is well! I love the sleek design so my phone fits easily into pockets and the one piece format makes it easier to remove the case although I probably should never do that.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Durable The most durable phone cover on the market! The wide array of colors and flexibility of style choices is phenomenal!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Preferred the Commuter model for previous phone I had to upgrade my phone to iPhone 8 so needed a new case ( previously, SE with Commuter case). The choice of cases and colours is more limited ( I wanted white/ light so I can find quickly in my handbag and reject pink & glitter). This was the only option. It does the job; easy to fit. But the Commuter had covers for the ports and was obviously two different plastics for shock absorption. Delivery was slow -longer than a week- presumably due to C-19.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Superb iPhone Case I bought this case to protect my new iPhone, and I feel comfortable having my phone in this case. It is slender yet sturdy, attractive, and the buttons on the sides of the phone are still accessible. I am very happy with my purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 2015 Otter Box was better I bought on Otter Box in 2015 that I loved. It was a softer, rubbery material and was really non-slip and very comfortable in my hand. I thought this one would be similar, but it's a hard material and is more slippery in the hand and on surfaces, so I was disappointed. My biggest problem with it is that it is very hard to use the on/off button on the right side and that is annoying and inconvenient.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bit early to tell Arrived last week. Easy to fit. Seems well built. Have two devices with Survivor cases which have been very good except the touch screen is a little harder to operate through the protection. Survived several drops with no damage. Time will tell how good the little brother is.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Tough as old boots I bought one last year for my iPhone and one for my wife this year for her new iPhone 8, both excellent and rugged without making the iPhone look like a three year olds toy. I have managed to drop my phone now on numerous occasions without any affects, so will definitely purchase again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Light but sturdy I owned another brand and found that my volume would change - or turn off- when the phone was put into a purse or briefcase. I found this Otterbox and was delighted that it was light weight yet sturdy and it took applied effort to change the volume. I mean you would have to want to change volume or turn phone off - it is not super stiff but just right. No more missed business calls! I do wish that the color of the case extended to the face of the phone as I can't readily see it if it is face up because of the black trim. Other than that- love it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fine, color is not as depicted Moved from the Defender case to this one on the advice of my husband. It's nice that it's a slimmer design. My main disappointment is that Muted Waters on the website looks like a bluish grey on the back and pink on the front. Yes, it's a pale blue back, but NO pink, definitely blah grey as the accent. Oh well...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great buy! I bought this Otterbox case based on recommendation from a family member and couldn't be more pleased with product. It just snaps on, fits phone perfectly, and is sleek looking. I love the muted water color. I only wish a screen protector was included.

Date published: 2019-12-29T00:00:00-05:00
Rated 5 out of 5 by from It does what it says on the tin I bought this on recommendation for my i8. It’s sturdy, the phone feels protected which is the important bit. Be aware that it makes your phone buttons like your sound and the photo combination quite difficult to use. They are stiff and unwieldy, particularly for screen shots.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good value direct w/ Otterbox... Different from my old Otterbox that saved my ars many-a-time. Those were sift rubber w/ a shield. this was harder polymer, but appears to work on the newer iPhones. Solid buy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Really Nice Case Bought this a few weeks ago and it’s really good. Have dropped my phone and the case protected it. It’s comfortable to hold and the color is really nice. Only negative thing is that I put it in my pocket and my pant dye rubbed off on the edges of it (the grayish part, which is weird since they are old jeans and I have never had that happen with any other case before so now there is some discoloration. Otherwise its probably the best case I’ve ever had.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The only case I can trust to protect my Iphones I've been using Otter cases for every Iphone that I use. They fit perfect and really protect against Iphone breakage. I've dropped many of my Iphones from 10 feet high and having the Otter case prevented damage

Date published: 2019-09-19T00:00:00-04:00
Rated 5 out of 5 by from It protects my phone from anything! I had the same Defender cover before and I loved it. My new phone needed a new case. Of course, the same Otter style.
Date published: 2020-07-28T00:00:00-04:00
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Disappointed I bought a new case because my old otterbox case had fallen on pavement and stained/scratched the light blue case. My phone looked dirty constantly. Well, joke is on me because my phone fell again on pavement 12 hours after putting the new case on and I have a dirty looking phone all over again. Protection is decent, but I just wish the light colored products are easier to clean.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love the Otterbox! My phone is important enough for me to buy the best. The Otterbox offers strong protection against accidental falls or other unforeseen events. I think it’s great and isn’t as expensive as you might think. It lasts!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very pleased with purchase I bought this several weeks ago. Many years ago I bought a case similar to the Defender series for my previous iPhone. My previous case more than lived up to expectations. My hopes for one in the Symmetry series are therefore high. To date the case appears to be robust on both the rear and sides. The rubber edging around the sides of the case is useful in assisting grip and in affording protection against light bumps. The hard back of the case appears very robust. I also like the look of the case. My choice for colour was black which complements my black coloured phone. To date my impressions of the case are excellent.
Date published: 2020-07-24T00:00:00-04:00
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good purchase I have been very happy with this case, except for the fact that the on-off switch to the phone does not always work when I push on the case button.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for a work phone. I have kept every one of my personal phones in defender series cases. However, when I as given a iPhone for work, I wanted to not spend a lot of my own money, but wanted to protect the phone and keep it distinguished from my own phone. great case great price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Dropped twice since purchase and no damage I bought this as "insurance" to protect my investment in the iPhone SE I've purchased. I have dropped my phone twice since I received and applied the case on 4/25, once very hard and no damage. Also like how it doesn't add too much to the weight or thickness of the phone.
Date published: 2020-05-04T00:00:00-04:00
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Neat and Slim but not perfect The service from Otterbox was quick and smooth. The phone cover is elegant and neat but does not have the protection my last cover gave. My two year old Otterbox cover had a clear front sheet inserted in the cover and was really protective. I thought this new one would be similar, it is hard to tell online.
Date published: 2020-02-18T00:00:00-05:00
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worth the money I bought a new case after using the same case for the last 2 years. It served me well for 2 years and I wanted to but the same case to replace the old one. Offer great protection with a very simple design.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect case for new iPhone SE This case fits snugly around the 2020 iPhone SE. I have used the Symmetry cases on my iPhones exclusively for the last 5 years and they fit my needs.
Date published: 2020-05-01T00:00:00-04:00
Rated 5 out of 5 by from VERY GOOD......BUT Seems to do everything that's needed. Discount made it a good buy. Only problems are that the side buttons on my iPhone SE are hard to press through the case. Having "cutouts" for those buttons would be better.
Date published: 2020-07-18T00:00:00-04:00
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice design and protection It's the second time that I bought an Otterbox product. My first case was from the Symmetry Series Clear Case and hold up for 2 years. After a while it changed it colour, the glue came off and the plastics changed in shape. The case still protected my phone even if it wasn't looking this good. The symmetrie series case that I bought this time looks just as on the picture. It has a nice surface and it seems to be more robust than the case before.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My First Purchase Bought my first protector case for first iPhone under the recommendation of a friend who has an Otterbox for his iPhone. I must confess to the surprise/disappointment that for $40 all you get is a single piece of plastic to snap your phone into. His had both a bottom and top cover. That aside, I do like the feel of the case. It is easy to grip and hold. The iPhone by itself is very slippery.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good protection Very pleased with this cover. It does everything claims to do. Minor points it is hard to remove from the phone. It could be improved by incorporating a sliding flap to stop dirt/fluff from entering the power/speaker socket

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Saved my last phone so I bought 2 more! So long story short, a pickpocket got my phone, and threw out out the window as I chased him onto the highway. Phone was run over. Screen, front camera, and home button were smashed. Took to Apple, all were part of the screen replacement. Phone still works because of my Otterbox case!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just As Thin As Other Cases... I've had this case for a few weeks & love that it's not super clunky like my first otterbox that I just couldn't deal with. The light blue color is super cute. Exactly what I pictured. It gives me great peace of mind to have something with the bumper of an otterbox to protect from screen cracking plus the otterbox warranty. Great buy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just what I needed. Solid case. Some Otter cases are too bulky. This one is just right. Slim enough to make you feel like you are still holding a phone rather than a hunk of plastic/rubber but also durable to make you confident your phone is protected.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from quality phone case would recommend I recently brought a new iphone 7 and I wanted to buy a case that would be protective whilst not having that chunky look that most other protective cases seem to have, i found the symmetry series case which is exactly what i was looking for it is easy to get on and off without applying to much pressure. The pruchasing process was fantastic as well as the delivery was quick. This is my second otter box case and i would highly recommend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love my new Otter Case I recently purchased an otter box for my new iPhone. I love the sturdiness of the case. It is not bulky and has a sleek design. The color is exactly as the photo showed. I would recommend this product to anyone looking for protection for your phone.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Cases Ever I've had my phone for 4 years now and had a clear otter box case on it. I forgot I had put my phone on top of my car and drove off and needless to say it fell off. I found my phone later, thankfully, laying on the road. The case, which was 4 years old, had popped off and I couldn't find it but all that happened to my phone was the tiniest of tiniest cracks on the top left of the screen. I couldn't find that same clear one so I ordered this green one immediately. These cases are SERIOUSLY amazing and well worth the $40 to protect this $1,000 phone. Also, the color green is absolutely gorgeous as well even better in person.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love this case, but it doesn’t love jeans I purchased this case a couple weeks ago (muted waters), and I love it. It’s a great design, fits the phone securely, and doesn’t make the phone clunky. I do have to agree with some of the other reviewers that it is not resistant to stains. I had my phone in my pocket while on a short walk and some of the edges are blue from my jeans. A magic eraser sponge removed most of it, but it is still discolored. I will just have to be more careful with where I store it while walking.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for me Beautifully made, robust but very refined. It’s the best fitting cover I’ve had for any of my iPhones and gives great protection without being too bulky where many other makes go wrong.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Son is very happy with it. Case looks and fits great, not bulky at all however it does make the phone a bit bigger with the frame around the screen.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good but needs improvement The case will protect your phone and it looks good to, but the only problem with it is that it has to grip to it and slips out of your hands

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Looks completely different in reality Great cases, I’ve always had an otter box. very durable etc. however, this particular case looks totally different online than it does in person. Just something to note - the Colour is a lot more fuschia than what it seems by the picture

Rated 5 out of 5 by from By far my favorite I have ordered numerous phone covers over the years. This is my absolute favorite. It fits well in my hand; the weight is substantive enough to acknowledge you are holding something; the material it is made of is quality and will not slip out of my hand; it fits well in the phone slots in my purses. I love the soft green color. I am absolutely and totally satisfied with it-my second symmetry case from Otterbox. Thank you for letting me share the joy of my purchase with others.
