Case Great Service not so much
The case is great but the process to get it wasn’t. I understand that the second charge didn’t go through but I was still off $150 for 5 days. I don’t think it’s right that I wasn’t able to cancel my order 30 minutes after. Also the solution was to wait it out.

Love my case, clear glitter back so you can see my phone color and whether sticker I feel like putting back there at the time, the rubber sides are good enough to cover corners when I drop phone it protects it, and slick so phone stays in hand. Love it.

Good case.
I’ve always bought defender cases since the iPhone 5. This is consistent with others I have and seems to work well. However, I don’t know that I trust the raised camera lenses are really protected. I also echo what others have said removing the integrated screen protector seems more like a way to increase revenue than a true feature. But that’s been true for several years now.

Unfortunately Poor Experience
When I unpacked the case - it was noticeably scratched ; which I can appreciate can happen. Otterbox did send me return labels after filing for an RA - but they deduced $5 from my refund for the shipping. In other words - not only did they not replace the damaged case - but they also charged me $5 for the experience. Hard to find anything positive about this recent experience ; which is unfortunate because I do advocate for the brands products.

Functional & Fashionable Starry Mtn 4 Pink iPhone!
Love the fit, form, function, design, and color scheme of the Starry Mountain Otterbox Defender XT case. It's perfect for my pink iPhone 13!
I have been a long-time user of Otterbox cases for my phones. The Otterbox Defender XT seems to be an improvement over the older Otterbox designs providing the same protection and grip in a slimmer form factor.
I found the two-piece case easy to put on and take off after watching some video instructions.
I am an older adult female in my 50s, and think the Starry Mountain design and color scheme can work for all ages who like the softer pink shade and clear back infused with glitter. I was creative and added a thin, clear skin with a design to personalize my pink iPhone 13. The skin shows up well through the case's clear back, and the glitter adds a nice touch! The glitter also helps to hide finger prints. The rubber frame, which looks like a dusty rose to me, also compliments the pink iPhone perfectly.
Regarding appearance of the case on the iPhone, I think the clear rim adds a smoother transition between the phone's screen and case. The clear back also minimizes the bulky case look that takes away from the iPhone's appearance.
I can lay the phone on its front or back. The case has some grip that prevents the phone from sliding around on a table's smooth surface, but yet the case slides easily enough into the phone wallet when I use that.
I had been using another well-known and protective brand case temporarily. I like the Otterbox so much better! Not only do I prefer its two-piece design, but I found as I got older that my grip wasn't as good as it used to be. It's easier for me to drop things. My iPhone has not slipped once from my grip since I've had this case. Also, the bumper around the camera on the Otterbox case allows for one to add a square, rectangele, or round-shaped accessories using the Magsafe feature. The camera bumper design on my other case only allowed for round-shaped accessories to be used with its Magsafe. The Magsafe on the Otterobox case has securely held any accessories I have used with it.
The Otterbox package insert includes a code to get the holster that holds the iPhone in the Otterbox case and can clip to the waistband of your pants. I like this holster. It's a lightweight alternative to a phone wallet. This holster also doubles as a stand for my iPhone.
Otterbox customer service has been great in answering my questions. I ordered directly from their site and product arrived on time in great condition!

Perfect, sturdy as always, love it!
I loved the Defender on my old iPhone for the last four years, and despite researching my options again (because I'm just naturally curious), it was still the clear winner for my new one. I'm loving that it's as sturdy as before but thinner and lighter — easier on my wrists, easier to slide into my purse pocket, etc. I also especially love that it has a built-in loop spot for my wrist strap so I don't have to use one of the annoying but unsightly aftermarket leash gizmos that stick out the speaker port. My only wish would be for more colors, but the blue is lovely (think your favorite denim blue jeans) and makes me happy. Well done, OtterBox!

The pink case is not the same shade as it appears online. Much more of a muted/grey pink. The case also has discolored almost immediately and looks grey now just from use. With that being said the case is very protective and I feel very confident that my phone will be okay even if my toddler gets ahold of it :)

Good case, not as rugged as previous Defender case
The case works well, however, I'm used to the older style Defender case with screen cover and thick rubber all around. This case isn't quite as rugged as the previous Defenders. It seems to do the job but you'll have to be more careful if you're used to the older ones.

This otter box case is not the most protective case ever, but it gets the job done. For the price, you are getting a very great and sturdy case that can take a hit. This is a brand new case for a brand new phone, but my last phone was fully protected by the OtterBox, and I was grateful for the warranty. Every time the OtterBox broke I was given a new case on my phone was just fine! I highly recommend the defender!

This saved my phone from a fall off a ladder!
After a year of use, I love this case. I was a non-case person. But now, with the case, I use my phone far more vigorously. And it works! I don’t do reviews, but this case has repeatedly saved my phone from certain shattering—repeated 4ft falls and one particularly epic fall from a ladder (which I still don’t understand how the phone survived unscathed). I am all-around impressed with this product, and I will buy it again for my next phone.
Biggest surprise: The black case has weathered well—despite repeated interactions with the pavementt.
Odd likable feature: The dust cover for the power cord. I got so much lint and dust up there, I felt like I had to spend an hour every month with my old phone spraying compressed air into the plug, hoping it would clear enough to charge. Not with this case, though! I went to MagSafe charging so I don’t remove it often—I don’t know how the dust cover would hold up under heavy use.
Holding up well: Also with no scratches or real weathering, the case is still tight around the phone. I have had cases start to want to come off (one of the reasons I gave up on cases) but this one is still tight-no play in the slightest.
Well done Otterbox! You won’t regret this purchase!

Possibly defective case
I got my case less than a month ago and it’s already cracked and the front piece that holds it in place keeps popping out. On the positive side my phone is still ok. I love otter box cases they’re the only case I’ll buy as a busy mom. I need them to protect my phone and that’s what the do. I love the way the case looks, this case might just be mildly defective.

Nice phone case. Small improvements would include more recessed area to flip silent switch which is very difficult. Also would build up rubber border on camera side to make phone set flat without rocking. Lastly the power button is a little more mushy then a solid click.

Wrong case sent part 2
I am adding a new review. I recently received the wrong case for the wrong phone. I did send it back and received a full refund or the option to have a new correct case sent. I opted for refund since I didn’t have time to wait for a new case to arrive.

Nice size, not great protection
I'm generally pretty careful with my phone, so I only have the case "just in case". Well the one time I drop my phone, it landed flat on a tile floor and cracked the screen. I would say that the drop protection isn't entirely accurate, I can only imagine that more screens would be cracked landing on not smooth surfaces. This is the first Otterbox case I've had, I previously used Lifeproof ones, but in all the years of having iPhones, this is the only time I've ever cracked a screen and I'm far less active now than before (desk job now, rather than outdoors).

My Fourth Otterbox Case for a Reason
This case is very well put together and solid. My only complaint would be that I attached a card holder to the back of the phone and it interferes with the ability to MagSafe charge using the otterbox charging pad.

Otterbox Defended for iPhone 15 - no screen shield
prior Otterbox Defender cases came with a plastic screen shield, and this did now. I feel that this was a shortcoming. All else works.

Prices too high
Not as good as previous OtterBox cases I have owned. They charge a higher price for the newer model phones and if you have last year‘s model, you can buy a case for about 1/3 of the price. I see how it works now I may not Limit my purchase Considerations to OtterBox in the future

Great case but hi needs a screen protector
I like the sturdiness and the size of the case but believe it should have a screen protector. I always used Lifeproof’s waterproof cases with built in screen protector and was very happy to have it as my phones have a hard life - in pockets, gardens, woods etc.

It not like the older cases but more expensive.
It arrived with scratches in it. The case seems ok but not like my past otter boxes. The rim of the case is not as deep and seems like there is less protection for the screen and camera lenses. I think it will work fine but for much more money now. I’d like to have the deeper shell so the screen and cameras aren’t flush with the case when you put the phone on a flat surface.

I am a die hard OtterBox Defender fan. I was delighted to see a Defender with a pretty floral back. As a school Principal I carry my phone with me all day long. I drop it repeatedly. My Defender cases have protected my phone time and time again! It was even driven over by a car and my phone as perfectly fine. OtterBox is the only phone case worth buying!
