Rated 5 out of 5 by from OtterBox case survived the Chesapeake Bay MD I love this outer box case. I recently dropped my phone at the Marina in the water, which stayed down there for 24 hours. I was able to dive down 10 feet to retrieve the phone. The phone was not damaged. The only suggestion to OtterBox would be to make bright colors that would be easy to see muddy bottom of the Chesapeake Bay

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Consistant defect with case makes it unusable I've used these cases for over a decade now, since they were LifeProof, but there seems to be a serious manufacturing defect with this model case. I am going on my third case in 10 months, each having to be replaced due to the same issue. It appears that whatever film or coating that Otterbox is using on the clear plastic that covers the camera lens begins to disintegrate at nearly 5 months on the nose. This makes every photo extremely cloudy and renders the camera useless, as you can no longer use your phone's camera while using the case. I am disabled and do not leave my house, to the point I don't have a car. My phone sits on my coffee table or desk for the majority of the day. It is not being exposed to chemicals or rubbing on anything, it does not get exposed to humidity or water. There is no reason for this and it is beyond frustrating. I recommend choosing a different case.

Even when using my nail that broke trying to switch it on and off. All it needs is a rubber vertical switch cover like your other cases have. I went on line to the portal and requested a refund and never got my return slip and would have to pay a restocking fee.

I took too long to print my return label so now I'm stuck with a case I will never use. I bought a $30 case on amazon instead and it works perfectly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Horrible colors this year Love the Fre and have had them for years but the colors now are just horrible and ugly. My iPhone 11 case was solid purple and nice. Before if I had a beige gray. This new style for iPhone 14 in purple has terrible bright pink at the edging. Same with the green. Please get rid of the ugly contrasting edging colors and have them be one color like they used to be.

Until I bought a new phone and I was talked into another phone case , well I dropped my new 1 month old phone and broke my 1st screen ever . Once my phone was repaired I purchased the OtterBox Fre and it has protected my phone on several occasions. I swear by these cases and will never be talked into buying another brand .

Rated 5 out of 5 by from NEVER BUY THIS CASE if you text a lot, this is the WORST case you can buy. i’ve always bought life proof but now that otterbox owns it the case quality changed. my protective screen is bubbled up causing me to HAMMER text my fingers to the appropriate letter and still constantly having to correct typos because of the screen hitting other letters while i’m typing. WILL NEVER BUY AGAIN!!!! wasted $100 on this. otter box is lucky because i hate online returns, so i’m hoping no one else ever buy this case. the ONLY reason it’s getting a 2star review is because it is water and dust proof. other than that, I basically lit a $100 bill on fire.

It’s a little knob that clicks the toggle on your iPhone “Silent Mode” on/off… fine in theory but in actuality it’s so hard to turn if you have fingernails… like at all. I have short nails, just enough for French manicure, and I can hardly turn it!
