Worst holster ever made by Otterbox
Doesn't fit the phone properly and there is an edge in the wrong place. Feels like your going to break your screen every time you clip it in. Ive used otterbox for every generation of the iphone and this holster for the defender xt series is by far the worst holster on the market. Total disappointment. After 20 yrs of using otterbox I will be finding a new manufacturer and case that has the proper holster

Quality Holster Should Be Included With the Case
This is part of the "Defender" series case for which we are now forced to pay an additional amount of money. It should be included when we buy the already expensive case just as it historically was. I only agree to buy it because my mother refuses to leave "Apple."

Great concept, poor quality
I liked the concept, it was useful while i had it, but its build quality was not as good as expected, it snapped in half about a week in, i was on the phone and sat down in my car and heard a snap, it appears that without the phone in the holster it is relatively flimsy, between the price of the holster and shipping I basically threw away 20 dollars. The case it holsters has been great so far but the actual holster isnt.

Otterbox Pro Max defender belt attachments are slimmer than the other products! The original Otterbox product is slimmer and of higher quality! Love these products! Might seem more expensive originally but is made of very high quality material and has protected my previous phones from more than one drop!!!!

Not the holster it used to be.
The holster does not lock into the phone case as tightly as it has in the past which is concerning,considering that it is holding such an expensive phone.The holsters are also thinner in construction than they used to be.The holsters are not at all what I have come to expect from otterbox.The holsters need to be rethought.

The only case to buy.
Awesome case. Not heavy and offers very good protection all around. Even covers the USB port nicely to prevent water or anything from getting in. That is important because the phone is not fully water submersible it is water resistant. Only thing I would change would be to make the flap for the USB charger wider so it is more versatile for other usb cables or usb drive adaptors that have a wider plug for media storage. The free belt clip cover that you can order separately should come with the case I’m not sure why we have to go through the hassle of ordering the clip cover separately. Do not like that but other than a few minor things it’s the case to have for your iPhone 15 pro max.

Wrong model sent to me…what a waste
Unfortunately the WRONG model was sent to me.. I have an iPhone 15 PRO and was sent the iPhone 15 PRO MAX so can’t use it.. contacting Otterbox for an exchange is very difficult…so it’s a waste

The phone falls out of the holster to easily. Good thing that it’s waterproof or I’d already be out of a brand new iPhone 15 pro max. I hope there’s a better alternative.

Defender Series Products Live Up To Their Name!
The OtterBox Defender Series has been my go to protector for my iPhone. I recently traded in my old iPhone 11 Max Pro, which still had the ORIGINAL Defender case and holster intact! I would recommend OtterBox products over Pelican any day of the week, hands down.

What can I say? It does what it is designed to do. The only reason it’s not 5 stars is that it does not lock-in as solidly as past models (you have to be a bit more intentional when holstering the phone). But it works as advertised. I do appreciate that it was free (minus shipping) with the purchase of the case, but would have been nice to have been included with the purchase of the case to avoid those shipping charges.

I’m not really a holster person but I wanted to try one. It is a good quality product but it’s not for me. The iPhone 15 Pro max just is too big to be worn on a belt. I also have difficulty putting in and out of the holster. This may be right for others. Just not for me

Holster is worth it!
I recently got the Otterbox iPhone 15 Pro Max Defender Series XT Holster and I must say I am extremely impressed with its quality and functionality. The case itself for this holster is very sturdy and offers excellent protection for my iPhone 15 Pro Max. I feel confident that my phone is well-protected even in the most rugged of environments.
Additionally, I love the included holster which makes it easy to clip my phone to my belt or bag for quick access. The holster rotates 360 degrees, allowing for easy use in any orientation. The belt clip is also very secure and I never worry about my phone falling off. I am a first responder so this is vital for me.
Overall, I highly recommend the Otterbox iPhone 15 Pro Max Defender Series XT Holster to anyone in need of a durable and reliable phone case with holster. It is a bit on the pricier side, but the quality and peace of mind it provides make it well worth the investment. 5/5 stars from me!

Phone falls out of clip, unsecure grip on case
This does not work with my OtterBox Defender case for the iPhone Pro Max 15 I purchased in October of 2023. Something inexplicably changed with the design, and now the phone consistently falls out of the clip and does not have a secure grip upon the case. Wish that I had known this when the old one broke, presuming that the clip for the same make and model of iPhone case would work with this.

Should be bundled with purchase of Defender XT
I initially purchased the Defender for my new iPhone 15 Pro Max- I really like the protection afforded by the holster for the screen when I put it in my backpack. I became quickly frustrated that it was not MagSafe compatible for an extra battery and then found the Defender XT, which is MagSafe compatible but for some reason is not sold with the holster. Pleasantly surprised by the coupon inside to obtain one direct from Otter, for the cost of shipping. I initially purchased one on Amazon but the quality is far inferior to the OEM one. Thank you Otterbox, for making a holster available for the Defender XT ! :-)

Redesigned holster clip
I had an Otter ox for my old iPhone XR. I didn’t get the clip over my belt correctly and phone and clip dropped to a hard surface and the tab on the spring clasp broke. Super glued but another drop did it in. This version for the 15 Pro Max has shorter tab that doesn’t look as fragile.

Add clips to the purchase of the case!
Include the clip in the purchase of the case like you used to instead of trying to squeeze and extra few dollars out of your customers and telling them get your “free” clip just pay for shipping. It don’t cost $6 to ship a clip that weighs literally onces.

Holster not snapping in tightly.
Hello, I got this as a replacement holster. It didn’t snap in well and hold the phone in tightly. I got it right before my Asia trip. I used it there and my phone must have dropped out about 15 times. Luckily the phone case did it’s job to protect my phone. I chose to put my phone in my pants pocket, something I don’t like to do because of the bulky case. Ultimately I stopped using the holster.

Holster extremely functional
I have had OtterBox cases for years and continues to be my case of choice. The new cases and holsters continue to have the same quality as my first one. The only reason I buy a new case is because of a new phone. The holster is still my best option for carrying around. Easy to get phone in and out but will not fall out without some form of effort plus acts as stand for phone. Love it.
