Rated 5 out of 5 by from Confused and Disappointed I have been using Otterbox cases for almost 15 years, and I have always been very happy with the products. My phones take a beating, but I have never had one crack or break thanks to Otterbox. I bought a new cellphone this week and came to this website to purchase a case for it. I was really confused and disappointed to find out the cases no longer come with protective screens. I absolutely need a screen for my new phone, as evidenced by the many scratches on the protective screen of my old phone. I am certainly not going to spend $50 for a case and another $25 on a screen. I find it hard to believe customers asked for the protective screens to be removed, this seems like a greedy corporate decision. That move has cost them this once loyal customer.

Theory is just that theory. why not make both and sell both! please everyone! The cases are still the best on the market!! I have always believed a little bit of something is better than a whole lot of nothing!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good case though a bit pricey Found this case to be mostly what it was said to be. Does seem like it will take some abuse and still protect my phone. I`m not the biggest fan of the belt clip holster, more than once the phone has popped out of it while getting out of my SUV. Secondly I wish the lip around the screen would be more consistent, deeper to match the top and bottom of the case to better protect the screen. It would also be nice if otter include a FREE optional screen protect. I would recommend this case though only time will tell if it's worth the price paid!

Don't buy this product it's not made well at all I have another brand now throwed the old one in the drawer signed unhappy customer

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not as good as they used to be. I bought this a month ago. Fit and finish is what you'd expect from Otter Box. I just don't think it's as protective of the screen. With a tempered glass screen protector on the phone the edges of the case are not as proud of the screen surface as they used to be for the A51 galaxy. I have already had one screen protector break.

While it does add a little more size to the basic phone, that makes it feel that more secure and sturdy in your hand. Lifetime fan of the product.

OtterBox Defender cases are nearly indestructible, working construction I dropped my galaxy s9 down two stories on to crushed stone, had my s7 active slide off the roof of another two story home landing flat in the paved driveway and both times my phones were saved by this case. If you are intentionally or accidentally abusive to your device GET THIS CASE!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I guess it is Okay, but with problems The case of course lacks a screen protector which I wish it incorporated. The catch that hold the case onto the belt carrier appears very loose. I was getting some change out of my pocket and my sleeve accidentally lightly caught the catch and the phone came off of the carrier. Fortunately I felt it and got the phone before it fell onto the floor. With these problems I am not sure I will every buy another one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice case but needs work Wish they would offer the camo with orange finnish in this model and fix the problem with the case holder. It does not fit the phone tight enough and your phone pops out of it to easy also the belt clip is not wide enough to clip to a 1 3/4" heavy weight pants belt. Case for phone is holding up well so far after several times being dropped from the holder onto concert floors and rocks. Using wide rubber bands to cure this. Gladly buy another one if they bring back the camo finish.

All of my phone cases have been Lifeproof but after reading positive reviews about Otterbox I decided to give it a try. I should have more reviews once I experience a "drop phone" or "water" moment

I'm in and out of heavy equipment all day in very rough and muddy places. Almost every time I get out my phone goes skipping across the ground no matter what way I clip it in.

I am disappointed to see in the downgrade of quality of the Note 4 defender versus A52 defender. Windowless cover feels and sounds like a super bad idea, material feels recycled and I'm doubting impact durability rubber or not. New users beware!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bad Clip that attaches to your belt I've been happy with Otterbox for many years, but the new one I bought for 59.99 is bad. the phone won't stay in the clip on my belt. It falls off all the time, it's to loose. Otterbox makes a great product, but not this time.

Just compare my phone in the otter box with my son's exact same phone in a regular case and the protection level is so obvious. I spent 500$ on my phone I definitely am glad I'm protecting it with the otterbox.!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solid construction and excellent fit. I haven't had cases for my last two or three phones, because they didn't grip the phone well and tended to feel cheap. But I cannot afford to damage my new A52 5g phone (times are tough, so I looked for top-notch protection (without a screen protector; I don't want anything interfering with the look of the Samsung screen). After figuring out how to take the multi-piece case apart and put it on the phone (tip: there are a number of helpful YouTube videos you can watch), I was immediately impressed at how it feels like it's part of the phone. And the tactile sensation is also excellent: it doesn't feel cheap or rubbery or excessively tacky, nor slick and plasticky on the other hand. This case wasn't the cheapest option I researched, but I'm glad I paid the extra money for the protection.

On my unlocked Samsung A 52 5 G, and i knew that i had too have a dam good case for it, so I got on otterbox com and order it. Thanks for making this kind of case for this phone.

Every phone I have had for the past 13 or 14 years has had a Otterbox defender with a built in screen protector. Now today I go get a defender pro for my samsung galaxy a52 5g and when I get home and open the box I find out there is no built in screen protector. To say the least I am disappointed that you pay the same as before but get less for your money.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from First OtterBox disappointment After four other Defender cases Otterbox has really dropped the ball on the Samsung A52 5G case. No more bezel running the length of the phone, this has the case almost level with the screen everywhere except the top and bottom edges. Bad idea. Now if phone drops face down, it is not protected unless it falls on something perfectly flat. Packaging tore up on opening so 60 dollars wasted.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good buy I like this case. It is sleek and conforms to the phone perfect to where it feels natural and not like a box. The only thing keeping the case from being great is that the raised edges are only at the top and bottom of the case which leaves the side vulnerable to drops and screen protector cracks. Overall it is a good buy. The clamp works great though it could use another snap (like the one at the top) on the bottom to help it secure better.
