Ive really been enjoying the belt clip that came included in the box. It did take a few wears to get familiar with it, but now I can't imagine living without it. It works perfectly at work and on the go. I've been wearing it for my daily walks and it beats wearing an arm band that always manages to slide off. I couldn't be happier with this product! Rated 5 out of 5 by from Adequate Stylish and tough...protects the camera lenses by raising the phone a few mm above camera box. It takes some getting used to as the friction created by putting your phone inside and taking it outside the pocket is noticeable. I have dropped phone 2x and no cracks!

I contacted OtterBox about this and they said just spin the clip. I could not get them to understand and eventually gave up.

Ive been using otterbox for many years (every phone all the way back to motorola droid for solid protection of all my devices in adverse conditions only to find they now make the bezel flush with or maybe even slightly lower than the glass facein arwas. I buy these cases for solud protection not asthetics. Now they do neither well. This case is not confidence inspiring. With phones getting more expensive and more delicate (glass sandwiches) top of the line cases should be offering more protection and not getting "streamlined".

Just got the case and it is the same great defender case but you can not put the phone on the clip the same way as the older phones. I carry mine on my right hip and the new case makes me flip my phone upside down to put it in the clip on my right side.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Protective Case for Samsung I bought this case a week ago with my new phone and I've been buying them for all my phones for years now. That being said, previous models I've had of the defender cases for my Samsung phones didn't withstand shock very well and always broke. This one on the other hand just had the craziest experience with it and rushed over to leave a review. I left my phone on the side of my truck at the gas station and didn't notice it fell until my watch buzzed me that it was out of range. I instantly remembered that I left it on my truck and saw it laid out in the road face down about 100 feet from my truck. I waved to the oncoming traffic (which I never recommend anyone do) as I ran towards them to not run my phone over. None the less a lady ran it over in a Toyota rav4. I thought it'd be destroyed but after thoroughly looking at it and taking the case completely off, the phone itself didn't have a single scratch on it! The case obviously had some scratches to the border along the phone but the phone itself wasn't harmed at all. If that isn't the definition of a solid case than I don't know what is. Like I said I've had Otterbox defender cases for years now since I work in construction but the durability of this particular case for the s21 ultra is beyond great for the value. Defiantly recommend 100%.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Holster Latch Is WRONG!!! Twisting the clip on the rear of the holster does NOT fix the simple fact that the latch is on the wrong side! I must now either keep my phone upside down (and endanger the camera lenses or use both hands to quick release the phone from the holster (major inconvenience) Somebody at OtterBox screwed up BIG time (or must be a lefty)

Overall the product does what it's supposed to do and I'm confident in its ability to protect my $1200 toy. Two complaints: 1. The phone will only latch in one position to holster, with either the screen facing in or out. Guess I'm spoiled from my previous Otterbox cases that allow for the phone to attach in any direction. 2. Ordered the "Berry" color, with the impression from the Otterbox website that it was a maroon shade. NOPE. It's purple with a pink liner. I'm a guy, so there's only a few colors in my visual spectrum. As of this review, Otterbox only offers this case in 3 colors - black, blue, purple (Berry. Need some options folks!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Protection The hard part of the case is amazing for protecting my phone. However, the soft cover to the case, I'm not that big of a fan. It has gaps around the framing. Also, around the camera, the soft part is peeling. I'm not sure what other what to put it. It is peeling back like it may come apart. I've had this case roughly 8-9 months. Other than the soft part of the case, I would recommend to others.

It will not click into the case on the phone, causing multiple drops of a $1,400.00 phone. I had tried 4 replacement cases and they were all defective. Otterbox has been great with replacement as usual but the problem is in the manufacture. The two little dogs on the holster that snaps in break off.

The feel of it is nice, a little rubbery with a definite high end feel to the material used. It was a little bit difficult to take apart when I first received it, but I managed after a few minutes and was able to place my new phone in it. It fits snuggly, like a glove and I absolutely feel like my phone is secure and protected. Bottom line, I am extremely happy with this purchase!

I purchased this case in March, and have found that it isn't the same quality as past defenders. The back of the case is bowing so it doesn't fit as snug on the phone, even though I do not remove the case. The case also offers no protection to the most important part of the phone, the camera. So I had to purchase a separate protector for it. All in all, not the best.

It is THE BEST case available, by far!! We left the store with some other one that was a promotional add on (because they were sold out of the Otterbox Defender and I HATED everything about it. We immediately came home and placed our order directly with Otterbox. The safety, feel, security, and protection that it has is unrivaled. Phones today are NOT inexpensive... and contain our whole world. There is NO WAY that any subpar or "pretty" case would cut it. Once you have experienced it, you know. And there is nothing that compares or will offer that relief and confidence that your phone will be safe and secure. Thank you Otterbox, genuinely.

This time there were a lot less color choices and the screen protector wasn't included, so I had to buy a set from Amazon, bringing the grand total to around $82. OUCH!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good not great It does the job the case itself woks well but the design of the accompanied belt clip sucks ! The clip in should be universally centered so the phone can clip in on either side (screen facing in. Why ? Because it only goes one way and if your wrong it rubs the buttons, it also forces your phone to be upside down when you clip it out. I've learned the 180 twist well feel like I'm back in the old west gun slinging. Before the belt clip sheered off i wonder how long that "stand clip" will hold I didn't get to find out as it broke about 2 months into use. Lastly if it is truly a broken case covered under warranty why as the consumer do I have to pay to get the replacement? Cost me $15 bucks just to try this brand again. I don't feel this is fair deal other companies dont charge for replacements. But whatever I had to do it pocket carry has now scratched my screen and I have to do somethig before it gets worse. I was tempted to try a screen protector however the bad reviews have left me saying no. Bottom line the case will protect the phone as advertised. I have dropped my phone and it's still working great, but the holder is junk and needs re designed. For such a high end expensive case I'm disappointed.

Long story short my phone came detached and my phone took a tumble at 70mph. I didn't have much hope for my phone but when I picked it up, there wasn't a scratch on my phone. My case only took a little beating but you wouldn't know it. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Before putting the case on my phone, it felt like it would slip out of hands easily. After putting on the case, I no long had that fear. I haven't dropped this phone as yet but in the past OtterBox has protected my phones if dropped.

I used the Defender Case in the Note9 and was completely satisfied so I purchased the Defender Case for the S21 Ultra. What a disappointment. The quality of the S21 Defender is sub-standard compared to the Note9 Defender Case. As an example, the holster clip actually latches over the screen lock button and turns on the screen. I don't feel the case will protect my S21 Ultra nearly as well as my Note9 Defender Case protected my Note9!!

Although, I love all things purple and no purple Otterbox exists for this phone, the Berry is beautiful! Only an Otterbox case is trusted enough to protect my phone! My husband got the basic Black Otterbox for his phone. Again nothing but an Otterbox for us!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Rubber exterior works off over buttons. S21 Ultra. I've had Otterbox Defenders for the last 10 years. I have carried my phones in my right rear pocket the entire time. I have loved the protection the case offers. I dropped my S9+ many, many times and it didn't get a scratch. In the past, after a couple years, the rubber exterior might get a bit loose, which is understandable since obviously it's in and out of my pocket thousands and thousands of times over that period. It would not come completely out of position, it was just that the case clearly looked used and the outer cover a bit stretched, usually on a corner. Not a problem. I have had this phone and case only about 2 months. While I was initially impressed as usual with the look and robustness of the case this one has turned out to have an annoying idiosyncrasy that developed almost immediately: Several times per day, when I pull it out, the rubber exterior has worked its way out of it's proper position while in my pocket and has to be re-seated. I know, first-world problems and all that, but it's annoying enough to motivate me to not only write this review, but also has me online looking at other offerings. Really hate to go away from Otterbox, but this is simply not acceptable.

When you make a mistake and drop it you almost istantly feel like nothing is wrong with it.. price is a little tad expensive side.. but worth protecting your investment. Like the fact that its a pleasing looking case on your phone. With not too much bulk more sleek. Will definitely purchase another one , on my next phone.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Thought Otterbox came to their senses.... After reading reviews from many users of this case I thought the largest "issue" was a huge win for me. Many users complained about the lack of built in screen protection. You know, that crappy plastic cover that Otterbox put on all of their Defender cases. That plastic cover was the reason I never owned a Defender case. You had no alternative for screen protection with these prior cases, take what comes with the case or no Defender case for you. How many times while working in the wireless service/sales I would be handed a customer's phone and there it was, a plethora of dirt, dust and debris scattered under that plastic cover of their Defender case. Being a clean freak it's enough to give you anxiety and I immediately wanted to disassemble their case to clean that poor screen off. Not only does it look terrible, you get the right kind of debris mashed between the plastic cover and the screen and it's surely going to wreak havoc on your glass screen's surface. So here I am, holding my first ever Otterbox Defender case that I can call my own and FINALLY I have the choice of the type of cover my screen will have on it. Otterbox says not so fast. I installed a brand new "case friendly" tempered glass screen protector on my brand new Galaxy S21 Ultra device. Tempered glass just feels right, I prefer it over all other types of screen protectors as it gives you the best clarity and feel outside of going naked/unprotected and it cleans up so well with the oleophobic coating included on most of them. Also, you can easily achieve a beautiful, bubble free installation unlike many of the PET film type protectors that have you trying to work those unsightly bubbles out with a small squeegee knowing if you don't get them out you'll be staring at them for months. With the glass protector installed I was stoked. My WQHD+ screen was looking beautiful and beautifully protected I might add. The clarity is great with tempered glass, as if you have no screen protector at all. Now it was time to transfer my device to it's final level of protection, the rugged cocoon that would provide the rest of the protection my fragile device needs. I placed the rear plastic cover over the back of the phone and then on to the front portion. I started locking the 2 pieces together, joining each tab one by one. Click. Click. Click. At this moment I really thought great job Otterbox, this is how the Defender line should be....that is until I reached the bottom of the device and the clicking stopped. It was at this point all the faith I had in Otterbox was lost. The tempered glass protector was doing it's job and covering the device's glass top to bottom (as it should but Otterbox seems to have designed it's cases to only play nice with film type protectors as the plastic shell is catching on the bottom edge of my glass protector causing the bottom clip of the case to not lock closed. It's not off by much, a millimeter at most but it's still enough to not allow the bottom plastic shell clip to lock closed, thus rendering this case entirely useless to me. I jump on over to Otterbox's website thinking they are forcing me into their own brand of proprietary glass protector and to my horror they only offer crappy film type protectors that play well with their Defender cases. Seriously Otterbox? You upset many of your loyal customers by removing the plastic cover and charging the same high price of those that used to have built in screen protection and then to add insult to injury you charge a very high price for a crappy film screen protector without even giving the option for your customers to go get their own tempered glass protector. My Otterbox Defender case will now reside in a drawer until someone picks it up on eBay.

No built in screen protector and the case has been redesigned. Screen protection and camera protection will suffer do to the raised areas not being the way they used to be. Not having the built in screen protector is a real let down. Having that and the raised areas is what made the defender the defender. I'm totally disappointed and I'm not the only one. Everyone I know personally that bought the defender this year for their Note, IPhone 12 max, Samsung S21 Ultra etc.all feel like they got screwed. Not to mention ya'll are charging the same amount of money for less protection. I'm sure I will get the same automated response back from you guys like Everyone else has that has had issues or been disappointed. Have ya'll ever heard that saying " IF IT AIN'T BROKE, DON'T FIX IT"? That should have applied to the Defender case. There was absolutely ZERO need to try and make improvements. What ya'll did was actually made it worse. FIX IT, AND FIX IT NOW!!!!!!

Several hard drops later, which should have cost me a new screen at minimum, and my phone is still going strong. Very easy install, took me less than a minute to put together. I love being able to clip the case to my work belt and detach it easily to answer a call or look at the phone. Very well made, quality feel.

My phone is definitely safe in this case, but the case makes it so big and bulky it won't hardly fit even in the largest cargo-pants pocket. The outer case that is supposed to clip on a belt is something I just cannot figure out how to use. It seems to cover the screen. So, when the phone rings, I struggle to pull the entire thing off the belt. Then, I have to use both hands to pry the part of the case cover that clips to a belt off the screen, so I can activate the phone.

The outer case will stretch out but their customer service dept always sends a new one for shipping cost only. Just wish the inner layer was a different color. The cool and warm tone mixed is driving me crazy. But it is better than black.

This Otterbox has everything I was looking for, protected camera, thick enough I feel protected in a drop and maybe most importantly...grippy. it has very nice grip to it. To me a case with no grip is just dumb. Oh...buttons work perfectly and I think it's an attractive case. It's a keeper.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great protection in hazardous places. I needed to replace an aged S9, which includes needing a new case. I have used the Otterbox Defender model since my first S3, having found it to be more than adequate for a working environment. This time I stepped it up to the Pro Defender model, which is a bit more robust and has the anti-microbial infused in the outer casing. So far, I am quite pleased with the safety it provides to what is a VERY expensive phone. The cameras are protected by the deeper lip edges of the case, as is the front screen. This allows the phone to be set down flat on a rough textured surface and still protect them. In addition, the asthetics of the two-tone colors of the layered casing are much better than a drab all black case. I have been well served by the Otterbox Defender cases for 9 years, and I look forward to this Pro Defender case to be my next choices for the future needs. Heartily recommend this product to my friends.

I originally purchased a wallet style case from Amazon (nor an Otterbox and I dropped my phone...screen shattered! I got another phone and had the Otterbox Defender case waiting for it to arrive. I have dropped my phone on concrete and my screen was not effected. LOVE!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Much better than previous case I got the new Samsung S21 Ultra. They had an otterbox at the store but it was I believe the commuter series. I personally don't like the commuter cases. I have used a defender case since 3 or 4 phones ago. Which I do upgrade every 2 years. The defender cases have definitely saved me. I have dropped my phone face first onto concrete, my phone has flew out my hand going down the stairs. I went with the pro because of the back really. It's easier to grip, it doesn't feel slippery. That and they have never disappointed me yet so why change something if it's working? I was able to trade in my phone for the maximum amount because of the defender series cases. Definitely recommend to anyone I can.

I work in maintenance and steadily climbing on of equipment and when my feet hit the ground so does the phone. I have about lost my phone on a few occasions when it popped off. Not happy with this case/purchase.

The top and bottom of the case isn't as raised as they used to be so if the phone falls face down its deff got a high chance damaging the screen. And no I don't think the over priced alpha glass is gonna make a difference. But they got my money this time so ill use it. Last otterbox products i buy they are getting too efficient (cheap). Now I got to find someone else

This case feels like the cheap knock offs on Ebay. It's flimsy and feels like the phone can just slide right out. The defender normally feels like you can drop it out a helicopter and not worry. Definitely do not like the quality or material this case was made from.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from screen protectors I was disappointed on buying the Otterbox for Samsung s21 ultra. This phone is too expensive for a poorly designed to protect your investment. This does not come with a screen protector (sold separately) and I'm not sure how it can be more water proof without it. I really love the designed that was made for Samsung s7. I felt more protected with that design. Someone has mentioned from another review about protecting the camera lens. I agree maybe some sort of a window that can glide up & down or side to side. Otter box defense is a good brand to protect your phones, but not this design.

We have never had any damage to a single phone. When you invest that money in a phone it doesn't make sense not to protect it. We always get "mint " condition money ratings on our old phones when we upgrade. Our last 2 trade-ins we got $700 credit back. It's a no-brainer! Cases are well engineered, stylish and durable. Also, it appears to have been designed for a left handed person and is awkward to quickly unclip and answer a phone call. I have owned Otterbox cases for my previous phones and they were great. Otterbox missed the mark with this one.

The texture is grippy enough to not easily slip out of your hand, but still slides easily into a pocket. I usually keep my phones for 3 years, ant they always come out of the case looking like new. I don't use the belt clip, but the kickstand feature is great for flying or the train.

The problem is if it's in my pocket, I'm at a bar or work and lean up on table, there's a good chance the screen could get damaged. The sides are designed to be lower for the sake of easier swiping, but at the cost of Pro Protection. It's really too bad because I was told this was the safest case.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Case for the S21U but a desin flaw I have always used the Defender series of cases for my phone and have not been disappointed, until this time around. I tend to use the belt holster a lot as I move around the locations I work at (I am an Engineer and visit working sites numerous times. In the past, the phones could be clicked into the holster in any orientation. For the S21 U, if you try to snap the phone into the case (right hip, camera towards the front, glass into the case) the top clip presses the power button and keeps it held down. This brings up the system power off/reset selections of the phone and keeps the display on. You must lock the phone into the holster with the camera facing towards the rear of the user if on the right hip. I know the button can be disabled in software but it would seem that no matter, you would not want the clip to be depressing a function button. It also has fallen out of the holster when the clip is on the function button. Seems minor but has impacted the phone power life and I am worried the phone will fall out of the holster and I would not notice it at a busy site.

It's a two part case, the inner part is plastic the snaps together around the case and the outside part is a rubber cover tht goes around the plastic part of the case. This case feels like it can withstand anything. If your ok with a little bulk on your phone than this case is an excellent choice. The Blue/Green color is very cool too.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Average Defender Case I have bought several otterbox cases for Samsung products ranging from the Samsung 6+ to the Current Samsung Galaxy 21 ultra. It seems that the cases protect less especially for a name line defender series . One if the things I had the most I'd their is absolutely not protection for the camera lenses . There should be done kind of slide cover to protect the camera lenses . As camera area becomes bigger and incorporates more cameras that protrude further from the main body .This protection is a must especially for the defender series. My next compliant is that the sidekick is very difficult to remove the phone from or at times doesn't securely lock the phone in . This leads to dropped phones for accidental release. To improve on this there should by a button release on this sidekick/Clip to facilitate an easy release with clicking mechanism they would let hear that the phone is securely lock into the side kick . So in conclusion this case lacks several protections that are a must to make this case a defender from drops and damage to the cameras . Pro: - Overall protection from the basic drops or falls - Durability - Warranty Cons: Poor design for Cameras and sidekick/clip leading to damage and drops

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Another Galaxy Another Solid Case I have been part of the Galaxy line for a while first with the 3 then the 6, next the 9 and now the 21 (aka 12. With each phone I have gone with Otterbox and the defender series. As curved displays came out I additionally picked up the Alpha Glass. I would have stuck with my S9 but the trade in value was too high to pass on for a 3+ yr old phone. Before my case came in for my S21 it was too slick to sit in my car holder and awkwardly shaped when laid flat. The defender adds textured grip areas, flattens out the different shaping and feels solid and secure. I may pair the case with the new glass cover but for now the Otterbox Defender Pro is everything I needed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from "Just 'okay' is not ok." I was a Lifeproof Fre customer for 8 years. After learning this case was not available for my new phone I was devastated. The Otterbox Defender was a strong second recommendation by representatives from both my service provider and electronic supply store. So, I decided to give Otterbox a try. I like that the case does not slip and slide around. I do feel I have a fairly firm grip on it. This can be a slight disturbance when trying to place it in and out of a pocket, but at least I know it won't slide off of or from a surface as may happen with a smooth, non-grip/rubber case. The antimicrobial technology is a timely bonus! I realize the edges of the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G are curved, Otterbox box assures customers the product has been tested time after time. As a consumer when it's your $900+ device on the line a bit more than verbal reassurance is needed to give the consumer peace of mind. It appears the phone corners are not fully protected by the case, the cornersof a phone tend to be the most venerable. The case taperes off mid-corner at both the inner and outer edge of the case. The tapered edge is a constant worry. The case's "raised edge" in reality is more of an inclined edge. When the phone is encased by the Otterbox Defender Pro, place it on a level surface, then look at the phone at eye level. You can clearly see the inclined edge as the phone screen is slightly raised above the case. The inclined edge around the camera is a concern for me as well. I don't feel like the lenses of the camera are entirely shielded from scratches or potential damage. There is a weak spot in my case where the edge of the case moves significantly. The weak area is just below the third side button on the right; where the top layer of the plastic case connects to the bottom layer of the plastic case. Even after I put the outer rubber case over top the inner case, there is significant movement and an audible "creaking sound. In addition, this specific spot of the case pushes downward past the edge of the screen even more than the inclined edge. I don't mind the color of the phone case too much, given the lack of case choices for the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G as a whole. It would be nice if there were a few other color options though. Despite the areas of improvement, the Otterbox Defender Pro is a better choice than the competition. All of the features and the limited case choices considered, the Otterbox Defender Pro is just "okay" protection for your $900+ phone.

Samsung S21 5G Ultra phone. My only problen is the Otterbox design should also have protection for the camera lenses of this phone. The S21 5G Ultra has a total of five lenses on the back of the phone. If the phone falls, even in the case, these can be easily damaged.

I tried a couple of inferior styles and brands but they felt so flimsy I was constantly nervous about dropping or damaging my phone. However, I finally got the Otterbox Defender Pro in berry and I absolutely love it! I have total confidence that my new expensive phone will be protected. See my last phone was a Samsung S6, purchased 7 years ago. When I turned in my S6 for my new Samsung S21 Ultra, the S6 was in near perfect condition. The sales person couldn't believe the shape it was in. And when I told him that I work construction, he was even more astonished. Thanks Otter Box, you are SIMPLY the BEST!!!!

My last phone I decided to go with another brand and within 8 months I painfully realized that I made a huge mistake. The curved edge glass on My Samsung Note 20 Ultra cracked like a spider web with a very, very minor contact. Most likely a flaw in the design but I am quite certain that if I had my phone in an Otter Box Defender I would still have a clear screen today. I have recently upgraded to a Samsung Galaxy 21 Ultra and the first necessity I purchased was the matching Otter Box Defender. I am quite pleased with the fit, color and protection of my defender. Highly recommend it and will never go for an imitation again. Lesson learned.

In the living room.... and the screen broke. $400 repair, so basically OtterBox did nothing. The OtterBox defender pro is unscratched and brand new.. but it's as effective as a dust cover. Next round I will go with something else.

My old, very old phone died, & I needed to buy a new phone, and hence, a new case. My old phone was always safe in my white Otterbox (10 years!, & I knew exactly what I would put my new phone in. Yep, an Otterbox defender. The sales person tried to get me to buy something much thinner bc he said it would do away with the bulk. I told him the bulk of the Otterbox was exactly what I wanted. He looked at me dumbstruck. But for me, the Otterbox has no rival. The only thing I could not get was a white case, but the berry pink potion is nice as well. If I could design my own Otterbox, it would have a pic of an otter on it! Other than that, no changes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The belt clip isn't sturdy enough. I've been buying Otterbox cases for years and the case is wonderful BUT the belt clip doesn't hold enough. I dropped my phone about a dozen times because the clip didn't clip and hold the phone properly!

They changed it and the one they sent is worse ... and the design for the galaxy s21 ultra is silly that you have to turn the phone to put it on and take it out of the clip. because it only fits on one side.

All of the buttons have a solid feel and are mechanically spot on. The grip on this case is not slippery at all and feels snug when holding it. I recommend this case for the Galaxy 21 Ultra.

The only issue I had was figuring out how to get the phone into the case...as I had never used one before. The reason why is because this is MY 1ST EVER SMARTPHONE.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Design Flaw The phone has to be placed in the clip in a manner the results in the phone being upside down when you remove it for use. You keep making an excuse regarding where the power button is. The fact is all you have to do is move the attachment point to slightly left of the clip instead of too the right, and your problem is solved. Yeah, it will cost you a few bucks but at least you would have satisfied customers.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bad design I don't like the case because of the clips of the locking mechanism. If holder is on your belt, you can only install phone in one direction (up unless you take holder completely off and spin the belt clip. Unlike the Otterbox I have for my galaxy note 10+, you can place phone on holder right side up or upside down, whichever way you decide to put it on the holder, if your in a critical speedy moment (work). With this holder, you have to take the time to make sure you clip the phone in the right direction so the phone doesn't drop off the holder. Its a nice case for its drop protection, but not for ease of putting phone into holder.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best case I have every had I just bought the Samsun Galaxy S21 Ultra G. My dog pulled me down on my old Samsung phone and ruptured the screen. My Otter box case in a little bulky but my new phone is really protected. I really like the ruggedness of the case and my new phone fits perfectly into the case. I have no doubt that if I dropped my phone it would be fully protected. I have had other cases that were thin but would not protect my phone.

I just get the defender series everytime I upgrade phones. Wish they made cases for more phones like Sony, Xiaomi, One Plus. I've stuck to Samsung because I know they get a beautiful Defender case each year.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing Case I can only think of 3 things that could make this case ahead of its time and better than all other cases even ones that havent came out yet. First off, phones are becoming so powerful that they consume so much power that the manufacturers have already upped battery capacity and charging speed but havent dealt with the heat that the battery creates and that the gpu/cpu puts off. cases make it harder for the heat to escape we are really just starting to notice this heat issue with devices like the s21 ultra. samsung is probably dealing with this by putting out updates that will govern or throttle the phones performance little by little so people wouldnt notice. my solution would be a case that absorbs the heat and disperses it to the outer layer that is aluminum or copper infused or something that wont affect the 5g signal frequency. the other issue is the charging port door applies pressure to the charger potentially damaging the charger cord tip or even the port over time. a solution could be to make the door attach to the side of the outer case port hole so the pressure is applied to the side of the charger tip where itll be less likely to cause future issues. one other thing would be to have a spot to hold a stylus even if it was a spot on the belt clip case holder that comes with this version. I dont see these ideas being to hard to implement by doing something simular to the solutions that ive provided. i see phones getting hotter in the future until they do something big about it and i see more phones coming out with an optional stylus/pencil/spen in the future since it seems most prefer a plus size model of phone anyways

This one however is a fail, when holstered the retainer clip press the power button and kills the battery really fast. If you put the phone in the wrong way around it doesn't but if you walk briskly it will fall out of the holster. I have always used and loved otterbox but they really messed up designing this particular case.

I had my Galaxy Note 9 for about three years and had to have it replaced twice because I dropped it inside of the factory I work at. That didn't happen for the entire last year I had the phone when I put an Otterbox Defender Pro Case onto it! I put that case through a lot of rough and dirty environments and when I upgraded my phone to a Galaxy S21 Ultra 5g just a couple of weeks ago, my case on my old phone still looks like brand new! I can't believe how durable their cases have become! I will definitely be getting a new Defender Pro Case in black for my new S21 Ultra once I can afford it. It makes me nervous to have any other kind of case on my phone, because of how much I trust the Otterbox brand!

Phone will only lock into place in one position. This is not been the case with my other phones. Sad to say I my have to return and try a different case .

And I know it's not going to slide out of my pocket or fall off the counter, or jostle in the car because the case keeps it there no sliding around. Used an Otterbox product for my last phone and decided to try it for this one. Impressed at how sturdy it is and how it covers the entire phone, including the face. It is a little bulky, but well worth the inconvenience to achieve great protection.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from What's with the holster clip? I love this case. I've had defender on 3 different phones. On trading they look brand new. I'm tough on technology so that's saying a lot. On the 21 ultra case, the clip that holds the phone in the holster falls on the button unless you put the phone in reversed. This means as a righty, I have to spin the phone 189° before I can use it. Design fail. The clip the locks the phone in is in the wrong place. I've tried it every way possible. It's just a design flaw I have to live with.
