Defender Case
Good quality and fits well. I will say the holster for the defender series does not seem to fit as tight as previous purchases. My phone has fallen from the holster on several occasions. In the past, the phone would snap in tight in the holster whereas now it does not seem to fit as tight and does not “snap” in. Does not take much to bump it and have your phone come out of the holster.

Best protection for an iPad

Very Protective Case
We have over 120 devices here and all of them have this Otter Box Defender case on them.
This case really protects the iPad and has saved us a lot of replacement iPad costs

Not as good as previous versions
I have a couple of issues with the Defender case for the Mini 6. first the door to accommodate a pencil comes off hinges routinely. I can see myself just removing it after a while if it continues to be a hassle. It also appears that the case is perhaps slightly wider than the case I had for the Mini4 and because of that when yo set the ipad on the built-in stand inside the removable cover the ipad sits more upright and easily tips forward and is more difficult to read at this angle.

Not the best otter box
Pen case door broke in a week. The protector case won’t fit as a landscape position (kickstand) holder.

Excellent Case!
Perfect fit for my new iPad Mini. I like the convenient flip up compartment that allows me to store my Apple Pencil on the iPad without having to remove the case. Also, the trusted protection of Otterbox ensures my device is protected from drops and the elements. Strongly recommended.

Design Fault
I have been an Otterbox customer since 2012 and have purchased 12 protective cases for iPhones and iPads. The product has always been excellent and well designed for each of those cases until my most recent purchase. While the product materials are as expected, the case design is disappointing. When placing the iPad in the cover cradle in a nearly vertical position, it is not secure and does not engage properly and is easily tipped over. I have to be very careful when using the iPad in this postion and sure hope that there is a design review and and improvement in the future.

Great product but nonexistent assembly instruction
Product is great but start up instructions are terrible: you need to explain how it assembles. Lots of aggregation setting it up.

Great protection for my iPad
The Defender series definitely protects my iPad. Plus, it's not horribly bulky and it has great grip. However, the cover is useless as a stand because the angle is super awkward as its too upright. If you're always going to be holding your iPad, then this case is great. But if you need it to be able to be propped up, get yourself a dedicated tablet stand.

Poor design
The case doesn’t stay up or “lock” in the stand. Also, the rubber outer case doesn’t fit properly.
Previous iPad cases worked well. This case was poorly designed. I would return it if I could.

Defender series
I got this OtterBox defender series case for my iPad mini. This is a solid cover with an excellent stand. The only drawback is a small cover for the side, which does not stay on all the time. Great buy for the price.

My Fourth Otterbox Purchase
I received the Otterbox for my new iPad mini and was pleased to find the same indestructible quality as previous purchases. I once had a car run over my iPhone and the Otterbox case was cracked but the iPhone survived without a scratch. I wouldn't use anything else to protect my various devices.
