Rated 5 out of 5 by from It Lasted Two Years While the title seems bad at first, I would like to say that I am the clumsiest person I know. I've destroyed tablets, screens, and more. I honestly thought that my phone was going to meet the same fate, but the case made it absolute trooper for two years! I've dropped the thing from the top of a staircase, screen-first on cement, had my baby nephew throw it at the wall, dropped it on steep trails, and had it fall out of my hoodie pouch more times than I can count. The only dent I have on my phone is from dropping it AFTER ruining the otter box's corner. My screen is still flawless! I could go on and on about how many times this product has saved my phone, but I do want to point out what you're trading for for this amount of protection. My phone, much to the amusement of my friends, looks like a brick with the case on it. It's basically impossible to fit comfortably in my (woman's pants' pockets, so I'm always carrying it around my bag. And disassembling the case for regular phone cleaning is a bit tedious since the plastic frame (? is that what's called?) didn't always snap back into place easily. You also give up a bit of personality when you get this case, since it only comes in one color, and it makes it harder to find if the screen is face-down. But, all in all, this was the best phone case I've ever gotten as it's probably saved me a good grand by now. I will be trying to get my hands on a replacement ASAP. I love my otter box!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for about a year I'm on my 3rd otterbox defender case for my note 10+ I remember getting it the day they became available in store for 90$ a few years back and it does protect the screen without needing a "screen protector" because of the raised lips around the edges of the entire phone. It doubles the weight and width of the phone pretty easily making what I like to call a "brick". It literally can survive being thrown at a concrete wall but after repeated drops the plastic interior will begin to crack and fall off leaving corners protected by a thin rubber band as the rest of the case slowly falls apart. I don't treat my phone well, and this case can take the damage. But if you drop it every week (4ft or more on hard wood/asphalt) expect to buy a new one once a year

Maybe get a screen protector (invisible shields still fit under the otterbox case to work just fine) if you're trying to use car keys instead of a stylus.

Black is boring why companies always get rid of the good stuff, I need another one cause mine broke this is pretty lame. I have always stuck with Otterbox for peace of mind now I'll have to find something else.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from No Other Brand I Trust! After seeing the cheap case my company bought a couple of years ago for my work mobile, I went out and bought an Otter Box. It worked so well and help us so reliably that, when I finally bought my own Samsung Galaxy Note 10+, I KNEW I could only entrust it to Otter Box again!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from One of the most protective cases on the market! If you're looking for a case to protect your investment, than this is certainly it! I specifically ordered this one without the plastic screen protector which I've found can be irritating. This case does add a significant amount of bulk to your phone so if that's a concern then I would try the Otterbox Commuter. My previous case was the Commuter for its slimmer and less bulky design. My phone was dropped and ran over by a car with the Commuter case and nothing got broken on my phone.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Replacement hip Holster Needed a replacement hip holster for Samsung galaxy note. The one sent did not match the original one purchased with phone. That one swiveled. This one did not. Nor does it hold phone correctly. This was ordered using a representatives assistance. Unfortunately had to buy the complete system as holster.not sold separately. Cost al9t for it not to be what was anticipated.

The only problem I have is its gripyness makes it hard to take out and put in my pockets. But everything else is amazing about it

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best phone case you can buy by far! Bought a few weeks ago and glad I did. Honestly I'm the guy who goes through 2 phones a year because I never bought a case like this. In hind sight I guess the $70 case is better upfront then my $200 dollar phone insurance deductible required for new replacement phone. Surprised insurance companies don't require these cases or send one out free to all who sign up for Asurion Insurance. $20 a month for phone insurance they can afford to give their customers a case. They'd save alot of money on replacements. I have replaced no joke about 6 phones in 3 years. Probably wouldn't have had to if I bought one of these sooner. Not going to lie money was never an issue and getting a new phone every so often wasn't a bad thing however it's a pain in the you know what having to transfer your data. Every transfer I always loose information and the apps don't all always transfer data over so you have to reinstall many of them by hand and do all the updates of course. Anyhow...I have 5 children so in the past my youngest would always want to watch cartoons or whatever on Amazon or YouTube then get mad when an ad pops up and toss phone in grocery store and break my scene. Seems like a bad idea of course but as a parent juggling 5 kids sometimes you go with easiest distraction just to make it out of any store for that matter. Long story short by one of these cases ASAP it's an investment trust me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Case keeps breaking We have replaced this case 3-4 times in less than 1 yr due to the bottom right edge breaking. The same exact spot on every case so far. The last replacement didn't even last 1 week.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bought it when I bought the phone at sprint . I never had a problem with it until the person at Sprint/T-Mobile Took the phone out of the case and broke the plastic rim. Also ripped the rubber top corner. If you dropped it the 4 corners held the phone in the case plus extended the distance from the screen. Shock of drop absorbed by rubber case.. the comment obove mine. I have the original screen cover mylar. Plastic covers in az will make the phone shut down from overheating. Clip open it lock it open turn the phone sideways it's a stand for the note plus. The best I mean the very best part of this case. The case makes sure the stylis pen does not get lost. It covers it completely. Last phone I had not galaxy. Lost the pen could not get another phone always said replace pen got new phone this one 1 month later. T-Mobile Took over from sprint had a insurance policy could not find one. No other pen would work. So Inconclusion it worked for 2 years before t- mobile broke it taking it out of the case. Please keep making for awhile longer. I'm going to replace the battery in my phone. 4 g if you go over the 50gb per month with a 5 g they bump you to 4g. Get it. I go over they can't bump me because it's 4g already. There is no difference it works the same as 5. Thanks for keeping it in stock I'm buying another. I think I just guessing t-mobile broke it on purpose. They wanted a new contract. Higher monthly payment because of buying the note 23. I love my phone. Battery is not that bad to replace I'll pay for it. I know 3 other people that have the same phone same case. That's the proof right there that OtterBox Defender is awesome.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Happy with Otter Box Defender My 3 year old Otter box fell apart, so I had to buy a defender, a little to bulky for my liking, but then my 3 year old phone is almost scratch free and works great because it had an Otter box before. Compared to other products, I would only buy a higher quality protective cover, to protect an invaluable asset. When this phones dies, the next one will have guess what, another otter box covering it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not the Otterbox case quality you should expect... The charger port seal broke off in a day. It is NOT waterproof, and if liquid from dropping near snow or a coffee/desk accident happens, you will need to pull the whole thing apart and dry immediately, not forgetting your charging port is likely already exposed. If it drops, you will crack the inner plastic liner and the whole case will be on a downhill spiral. If you are careful when the case starts cracking, you may get an additional month, but best to be ordering a new one. With the prices on an ugly black case, I'm not buying here, I am a die hard Otterbox, and put everything in them, but this case is my last buy. I think r=this should be a one time purchase, not a once a month, and quality has clearly left the building.
