Customer service said they fixed the camera button. They did not. It is pressed constantly when using the phone. Worse than described in many reviews here. Had to disable the camera button function. Will be returning it.

Belt Clip Holster broke
The otter box itself is great but the holster broke within two weeks of use. The two very small plastic nubs that seat into an indentation of the otter box to hold the phone in the holster broke. Now the phone will not stay in the holster.

I’m a big fan of the Otterbox brand. I’ve been using the defender series for years to protect my iPhones. With the new makeover on the iPhone 17 pro series I wish that there was more coverage around the new camera plateau. Other than that the fit and finish are spot on.

When you choose your phone,model,color, and carrier then next to last stop is a case. Unless your phone is going to be on a Netflix show set then you will need a case that protects your current investment

Abysmally poor quality and fit
Initially I was pleased with this phone case but it has not held up to even light use. I’ve had it just over a month and it has become loose fitting and not snug around the phone. I’ve never even dropped the case yet. I have used otter box cases for years and have never had issues with loose poor fitted cases before. Overall the case looks good, is aesthetically pleasing, and has good tactile feel with the buttons but if after one month the case feels like it could slip off the phone at any moment I’d say spend your money elsewhere. And yes I have removed the rubber casing to verify the plastic parts are still all clipped together. I hope this is just a one off fluke and not just how otterbox cases are. For $80 I expect a good fitting long lasting product

After many years as an otter box user and fan this years offering was very disappointing. The fit of the case was not adequate. The edges of the top of the new orange phone showed and constantly shifted and moved in the case. As stated earlier Otterbox was always my go to case for every phone. Sadly, I have returned the case and am trying another. On the positive, my wife is still using her Otters for both iPad and iPhone and I have been using my iPad Otterbox for 5 years. Return to the quality of the past and I will likely return.

I’ve had the OtterBox defender case on my IPhone 14pro since I purchased it a couple of years ago and the case has performed perfectly. I’ve dropped the phone multiple times without any damage to the phone or the case. I recently bought a new one for the iPhone 17.

Really not impressed with the case. At first, there was a problem with the new camera button sensitivity, which thankfully they fixed and provided a new case for. Fought things were going to be OK but after only a short period of time, the exterior cover has become loose and holding onto the phone no longer seems secure. Very disappointed.

Absolutely fantastic case from a fantastic company! I have used Otterbox cases for years they have saved my phones countless times. Drops, bangs you name it. This case is my second of the type I was a very very early adopter of the new phone and case, there was a minor issue with it initially. I never even had a chance to contact Otterbox before they contacted me said they knew it and sent me a perfect replacement! I will not be using any other brand of case. As to this defender case very solid, and grippy which is important to me and has held up well in the time I have had it. It adapts well to the new buttons on the iPhone 17, which had to be a challenge for the designers. No regrets highly recommend, if your active and outdoors a lot this is the option.

I’ve owned an otter box on all my iPhone and they work great! This one sucks it barley clips and locks in place. It’s falling out of the clip. The case itself is solid. Clip sucks and has too much wasted space should sit flush.
