Hello world. Simply put, I’ve been a dedicated OtterBox customer for almost 10 years. This company makes some of the best cases on the market. Yes, they’re expensive—but anything well-engineered usually is.
I do want to be honest and say I was very upset when the original case I ordered never arrived. After a frustrating process trying to get in touch with someone (about three days), I was finally able to explain my situation to an agent who called me back. She immediately reshipped a brand-new case, no hassle.
No money down, no extra shipping nonsense—just a few simple questions and that was it.

I recently picked up this OtterBox case and have been really pleased with it so far. I was looking for something rugged to protect my phone, but I didn’t want it to be overly bulky or unattractive. This case strikes a great balance — it feels solid in the hand and has a clean, streamlined look.
The design is subtle yet tough, and the texture gives it a nice grip without feeling sticky or picking up lint. A friend even commented, *“That’s a great-looking case — and it looks sturdy too,”* which confirmed I made the right choice.
One feature I was hoping for — but honestly wasn’t counting on — was wireless charging. To my surprise, it **does work** in my Hyundai Palisade’s wireless charging pad. It’s not lightning-fast, and you have to place it just right, but it gets the job done. That was a nice bonus I wasn’t expecting with a rugged case like this.
After a few weeks of use (and a couple of accidental drops), I can say the protection is definitely there. The phone is secure, the buttons are responsive, and the edges give solid screen and camera protection.
Overall, if you're looking for a sturdy case that doesn’t look or feel like overkill, this OtterBox is a solid pick. Great protection with just enough style and convenience built in.

Snug fit and low profile
Prefect fit for the Ultra. Don't understand why some folks think the Defender is bulky. Quite the opposite, especially how it protects the phone so well! The shell has just the perfect tactile feel to it to maintain grip in hand and on table suraces.

This case does not work well with screen protectors. The case causes the screen protector to come off. It's very annoying because it messes with the quality of the front camera. I am currently searching for a different case that will protect my phone and not cause the screen protector to come off.

Appears to be a downgrade in ruggedness
Have been buying the defender cases for years and have been generally well satisfied. This one is far more flimsy than any previous iteration. In particular the front frame that holds the phone into the back Plastic housing is exceptionally thin and flimsy. Combined with the somewhat thinner than usual rubber overlay, it does not inspire confidence in surviving a significant drop. Comparing this to previous earlier cases which were dropped numerous times onto concrete with absolutely no damage to the case and of course no damage to the phone. I have my doubts about this one. What is surprising is that no one purchases the defender case for style and slimness. You’re buying the case for ruggedness and the absolute highest level of protection. This iteration of the defender doesn’t present itself that way. Makes no sense.L

My go to choice. Great protection. Easy to hold with a textured finish and rubbery material. The case also provides protection for the camera lenses that project from the back of the phone. The only way it could be better is if it could accommodate magnetic add-ons.

I was in Wal-Mart & reached in my pocket for my phone & it slipped out of my hand & the holster chipped. I only had the holster for four days & it was chipped so bad I had to throw it away. No point of sending it back & asking for another one if it's made that cheaply. You're only paying for the name not the material it's made out of. I highly recommend that you don't waste you're money or time on this item. I only buy from otterbox so im disappointed this happen now I have to rethink my options.

Ive owned the past three iterations of Galaxy phones, each time choosing the Defender as my case. I thought there wouldn't be many differences for the s25 Ultra case, but there are a few. The back of the case is now a grippy texture instead of just flat and the shell feels and looks more durable, especially in the corners.

There is no better case than the Otterbox Defender Pro case. But I sure wish that you would get some better colors. Why are all the non-black cases two-toned? How about a pretty blue like you have for Apple? Or a solid navy? Or a solid brown? Or dark green. I hate the two-tone colors.

I ordered the case and screen protector, and must day thank you I love it. However the reason I love it is, I accidentally took a fall out of a 53 foot dry trailer, and had my phone in my back pocket. Landed on my phone. The screen protector broke but it did its job in protecting the phone. No damage to the phone.

The camera cut needs to be better. On my s22 it had a noticeable lip for protection, the s25 version is almost flush, plus it's finnaly time to get rid of the large opening and bring the hard shell right up to the cameras like other brands have started doing. Other than that, it would be a 5 star case, I love the defender series. I also love the additional grip texture added this year.

I've been using OtterBox for many years, since I got my Note 2. I have purchased the Defender model each time, for the Note 2, 5, S22 Ultra and now the S25 Ultra. Each time prior I got a holster that I quickly put in my junk drawer. This time I received a code to get one sent to me if I wanted, which I don't! Thank you for keeping my junk drawer less cluttered. I have had warranty service on several of the Defenders, never with a problem. Great product from a great manufacturer. I only buy from OtterBox directly and keep the order number in the event I need service.

When I decided to upgrade my Samsung Note20 to a Samsung S25 Ultra, my first search was to see what Otterbox had for a case. Initially what I found was Symmetry cases, which I have bought for other phones in the past, but hadn't for my phone. That goes all the way back to my old Samsung Note3 which was the first Samsung I purchased and with it my first Otterbox Defender case. Every phone I've owned has been in an Otterbox Defender case and everytime I trade in, the phone I send back looks as good as the day I placed it in the case. So when I say Defender cases are always dependable, it is based on my experiences using this style of case. Well to get me by, I bought the symmetry case and as soon as the defender case was available I ordered it. I have only had the S25 ultra for about 45 days so Im still learning the phone, but what I can say is charging with the case on has been a non issue. I have OEM and after-market charging devices and none have been an issue. The vehicle charging pad in my Telluride also senses my phone in its defender case. As far as holding the phone, the case offers a comfortable feel and yet does not allow slipping within the hand while holding it. I have unfortunately tested the drop capabilities twice. Once in my hand, the other off a table. Both successfully protected the phone and there was no permanent damage to the case either. I'd recommend this case to anyone wanting peace of mind.

Defender is the case to get! I have been using the Otterbox Defender Pro case on my last 2 phones after I discovered Otterbox. I'm so please with it. My phone is my primary camera that I use to tajlke pictures daily of my pups. We take vacations and day trips quite often, and often drop my phone when taking pictures of my pups while maneuvering 2 retractable leashes. My phones have survived hundreds of drops. As long as Otterbox is around, I will continue to get the Defender Pro cases. The color options are consistently nice. I got the purple one because the other colors are too dark for me, and the purple case turned out even nicer in person.

Great product!!! I have been using Defender Series Pro Cases for over 15 years. This is the first one that does not come with the belt clip attachment, not really a down side because I never used it anyway. I just hope that the removal of that from the product helps to keep the price lower than if it was included.

Great, But Could Be Greater
This is the most current of several Otterbox phone cases with holster that I've purchased for the various Samsung phones I've owned. All have provided great protection for my devices during those rare occasions when I drop them. I have been accustomed to the store and release action of the holster for years, now and is probably a crucial reason for me remaining with Otterbox.
On that note, however, I do feel the indentation on the plastic case and the plastic hook on the holster could both use some reinforcement; perhaps a metal outer layer would increase the useful life of both. Their failure is the primary reason I have to replace the case and holster before switching to a new phone. The rubber protective flap that covers the charger port is another area of fsilure, but failure of that part is not as crucial, unless one were to drop the phone into water, which I have not experienced.
All in all a great case and holster combo that works perfectly when new, but can use some improvent to extend their useful life.

Decent case, not overly bulky. However, it doesn't protect the cameras at all. Also, not a big fan of how it is with the S-pen, feels like it would be easy to lose. I really miss the old built in screen protectors from previous years.

I love the Otterbox Defender Series case as it fits my Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra like a glove. It's tough too, so I don't worry about dropping it either. I have only had it now for almost a week, but I know from the past where I had my S22 Ultra in the same series of case and dropped it probably over 100 times, it never was scratched and never got a crack on it. Quality built case, Good color design, there's just not a better one out there!

100% get. Charging port cover & flush with camera
This series is my go to for evwry phone, and hands down my fav case. It just feels so sturdy and comfortable in my hand. When I got my phone, i has to use a generic case for a week, and it made me so wary of anything happening. The case also didn't cover the charging port, and the case wasn't flush with the cameras, so it always laid down on a slight slant. The case deal with both issues, while being significantly more sturdy. The Otterbox Defender series will always by my 1st choice for a case.

The best case ever
Otterbox is the only phone case that I have ever used on my phones. It protects them like no other case. I have dropped my phone some many times and my phone is still perfect, no cracked screens or any other damages. I just purchased a brand new Galaxy phone and I made sure that I purchased my OtterBox phone case to come in before my phone did.
If you want a perfect case to protect your expensive phone, then purchase an OtterBox phone case and you will be glad you did.

I love my defender series pro case for my s25 ultra! It feels durable/rugged and sleek at the same time. It has a space for the s pen to slide into the phone and for a usbc to be plugged in. It also has good openings for mics and speakers.
