Rated 5 out of 5 by from Phone fell off car with commuter case and survived I recently left my house and forgot my phone on top of my car. I drove halfway to my destination, and without me knowing, my phone must have flown off my car going down a common road at ~65mph. When I realized this happened (my family received notifications that I was in a crash and found me unharmed), I rushed to the location where it said my phone got into a car crash. There was the commuter case (in pieces). On the other side of the road, my phone was laying, unaffected minus a few scratches on the corners. This case is incredible, let my experience represent that. I just ordered the replacement.

All buttons work flawlessly as if there was no case at all. I have tried other but always come back to this model because of it simplicity!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not Lifeproof After several chats with Otter agents, I was led to purchase this case as it would have been most similar to its predecessor the Lifeproof Next. It works, but lacks the same quality and protection that you used to get with real Lifeproof products. It will suffice and work for now, but am a bit disappointed to see that the Lifeproof quality is gone with the name.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Doesn't work on MagSafe stands Easy to put on (sounds like they didn't get it right on the Defender series), everything fits and lines up. I bought the Belkin 2-1 MagSafe charger and the phone slips right off of it with this case on. Minus 2 stars because it isn't made clear that you can use MagSafe to charge your phone with this case but you cannot use it to hold your phone. I know it says "no magnets in case" but I focused on "works with MagSafe".

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not happy Don’t buy it. The thin plastic piece next to the plug always breaks off. When you want to get a warranty replacement, you have to pay for shipping it, which is likely their cost to make it. Lousy warranty.

Very disappointed as there are MANY choices on the market.. Over all case is really slick and actually makes me drop my phone more. And the side grips seem in wrong place and too small to be useful. Case came with 3 lens protectors. These are such cheap plastic and crack...leaving you distorted lines when using your camera if you dont replace. After about 4 months I just cracked my last one.....Buyer be ware. A case is worthless if you cant use your camera while phone is in case.

This is my first Apple phone and I'm not worried about the difference of quality between the Samsung commuter and this one. I have dropped my phones several times and have never broken or gotten even a scratch! I will be buying a protective case for my Apple watch because I know Otterbox is the best!

There was a deal while purchasing the phone and I decided to go with a different case, but came back to the commuter because I have small hands I like the soft grip layer that goes underneath the tougher plastic layer. No issues and haven't dropped my phone yet, but if this commuter case is like the ones for previous phones I know my phone is safe.
