Phone is in perfect working condition. Buttons function easily as well. Nothing gets obstructed. Great product!

Case is to thick, I have to take the phone out of the case to get it to charge on the pad. The stand wireless charger I have to turn the phone upside down to get a charge going but it’s very slow to charge. The product description says the commenter is wireless charging compatible but I disagree. I did specifically buy this case for protection and the wireless charging feature. I would recommend this case even tho

After just the first day of putting in in and out of my back pocket of my jeans (a well loved pair of a dark washed skinny jeans, the blue dye from the jeans, started to get on the case. It was disappointing because the jeans have been washed countless times in the 2 years that I have owned them and never expected this to happen.

I rarely drop my phone, but when I do, I feel secure in the knowledge my phone is safe. It only takes seconds to fit the case onto my phone, and I'm ready to go. Rated 5 out of 5 by from So sturdy! I can't believe I might sound like a brag bot here, but this case is so sturdy, it will be my weapon of choice in a post-apocalyptic war. I use the iPhone * Max size and because of it's large form factor I tend to have a bad grip and drop my phone often. While one solution could be to buy a smaller phone, I chose to go with the sturdiest case I can find and loving it so far. I always though that Otterbox was slightly over priced, but now I see why. You can feel the premium quality of the case and small design decisions which makes it a great purchase.

I never purchased an Otter box case in the past mainly due to costs, but over time i have learned that its best to cry once and not twice. a day a go while riding my Harley on the freeway my phone took a swan dive from my jacket's side pockets and found it's self crashing into the ground! Luckily I noticed this right away! I went back and looked for it and to my surprise the phone was in working condition! No broken screen! no cracked camera lens! yes a few scratches but nothing that affects its functions. I'm sure I was doing atleast 90MPH when this event took place. from now on I will recommend OtterBox to anyone and will be a customer for life! the warranty process was also a breeze!

The color in nicer in person compared to the pictures online. In the pictures it looked more green but it's actually more of a teal green.

The thickness of the 2 is relatively the same +/-, but if you keep your phone in your front pocket of your pants, having the port protection on the Commuter series is key to keeping lint and dirt out of your charging port. I've used Otterbox covers on all my phones for years now, wouldn't use anything else.

The case was not an Otterbox, which should have been my clue that it was not the case for me. I was not happy with the new case and decided to order the Commuter Series case. The only complaint is the cover flap over the charging port. It is hard to move it out of the way to plug in the phone. But I will take that if that is the only complaint I have. Nice protection for my expensive iPhone!

I can now use my phone without being worried something will happen to it, especially with three kids running around the house! : I also purchased the symmetry but didn’t feel as protective as this one. Another thing I love is that it doesn’t feel bulky at all! It took me a while to decide which of the two cases so I bought both and 100% this one. If you are thinking which one to get, get the commuter! Love it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cracked Case No Reply So my commuter case came in the mail cracked. The thin hard plastic that is between the bottom middle of the screen and the charging port split in half. This leaves the crack not flush at the bottom of the case with a sharp surface. I've sent three warranty responses with my order number and all my info. I've not heard back and it's been nearly a month.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A few draw backs I like the case as well as the previous ones however I will say the button covers make it very diffficult to turn on and off due to being stiff....also I have wireless charging in my vehicle and unlike the cover for my 10 xs max the cover for the 12 pro max will not take a charge through the cover and as I drive a lot for my job this is a big inconvenience...so I will probably seek out a different cover

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Top tier case I’ve been a big fan of OtterBox for a while always using the defender but with such a big phone now I wanted something not as bulky and I must say this is my favorite case I’ve ever owned so far. Not bulky but still very protective. It has a nice large lip to protect the screen and the back camera. I’m a big fan of the new iPhone squareish feel and this case still provides that feel. Overall will continue with this style case going forward.

I am really disappointed with this version as the MagSafe does not work. The MagSafe charger doesn’t locate the charging spot and you have to search the phone back to connect.

It is a very protective case without being too bulky. I have two recommendations for future commuter series cases; made the buttons more tactical and make the rubber part of the case more tighter to prolong the life of the case.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solid Otterbox Quality, but Charging Problems. Overall the case is what you would expect from Otterbox. It’s a good and solid two piece case, but it comes at a hefty price tag. To things that I have an issue with: first, I don’t get why the mute button on the left side of the frame does not have a cover. The rubber flap covering the charging port works very well and I just don’t understand why the mute button was left unprotected. Secondly, and this is a major point for me, my wireless chargers don’t work properly with this case. I tried numerous positions and can only get the phone to charge with the case on maybe one out of 10 tries. The packaging says that it’s compatible with wireless charging, but for both of my chargers that’s just not the case.

Other than that still a great purchase just have to plug in charger using port like before.

The description said it works with MagSafe but the charger barely clings on and would easily fall off if I picked up the phone. Works well with other Qi wireless chargers. If MagSafe isn’t a priority feature for you, then this case is great!

I decided to get the Otterbox Commuter instead because I dropped it on accident already and my case is still like new as well. Plus with the symmetry case, it’s hard to get off and I felt scared if it was going to break my phone or something. At least it didn’t but I just don’t see how the symmetry cases are safe anymore. That’s why I decided to go with the Commuter. I seriously love it too. Now I’m not as worried anymore about my phone breaking or cracking. I have been with the Otterbox company sense I had the iPhone 4s back then but I would always get the symmetry case but for now on, I will always get the commuter case when I always decide to upgrade to a new iPhone. I feel a lot safer with the Otterbox Commuter case. Otterbox is the best

That’s a pretty basic functionality that’s a real shame it doesn’t work, especially considering it had the lightning port cover.

I've tried 3 different chargers and none of them are able to charge my phone through the case. Phone charges fine out of the case. It's a cool color and I feel that it would protect my phone from most drops, but, the wireless charging not working is a deal breaker for me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Does not work well with wireless charging I purchased this case and it appears to protect the phone well. It says it works with QI wireless and magsafe charging. This case does not work well with either of these charging options.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Doesn't work with MagSafe I bought this case for my iPhone 12 Pro and wanted a case to work with MagSafe. I filtered by MagSafe and this case came up. I just checked to make sure I didn't make a mistake and see it's still listed under MagSafe cases. This DOES NOT work with MagSafe.

Just recently I upgraded to a larger phone and of course ordered a new Otterbox. I am a clumsy , chronic phone dropper but have never broken one. Seriously, I’ve dropped my phones on concrete, granite, and tile and Otterbox has saved the day!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Case But NOT MagSafe Compatible I like this case. I’ve always used Commuter cases. However, the description says it’s MagSafe compatible and it absolutely is not. MagSafe works like a wireless charger but the magnet doesn’t work through the case. I was very disappointed with that since I specifically wanted a case that can use MagSafe.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Case Cracking In 3 Months Bought my otterbox case on 10/13/21 and the plastic is cracking already. Paid good money for this case so I expect better quality control than this. Very disappointed with this case.
