It has a decent charge length, and it also takes a charge quickly. The shape is also great for long sessions, I haven't noticed the cramping I was getting from the last mouse I was using.

I am in love and my kids also absolutely love using it. It is great while playing games and is so easy to use and maneuver that it is great for all ages. I am 33 and my girls are 14 & 8. My 8yr old loves using it and seeing the different colors that it can change into. I don’t really know how they will be able to top this product to make it better.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lots to love about it The OMEN Photon Wireless Mouse has a lot going for it. It's really comfortable to hold due to the shape & the addition of removable, smooth plastic side wings that your thumb and pinky finger can rest on, which prevents them from dragging along on the mouse pad. The buttons are all fully programmable, so you can set them however you like. One unusual bonus feature (which by its self makes it worth buying to me) is the removable / changeable side & inset center buttons. It allows you to custom tailor them to what is comfortable for you to use or remove them all together if you find them getting in your way . They attach with strong magnets, which don't move around when they're on and make it extremely easy and fast to take them on & off at will, if you should so choose. Another bonus, is that the LED lights in the mouse are also programmable and they look pretty cool. It comes with a USB A style charging cord, so (almost) any system can use it. I have an older (custom built) HP system that I use for gaming and it had no problem syncing right up to it. I should also mention, it holds its charge for a ridiculously long time. It claims 50 hours with its lights on (72 hours if you turn the lights on it off) but since I turn the mouse off when not in use, I've had it a few weeks now and it hasn't needed to be charged yet (not sure how many hours) so it may last even longer than that. Now, as far as actual game play goes my only real complaint is the mouse's range. My gaming computer sits on a self, about 4' off the ground and where I sit & play, is on the floor about 5' feet back from it. I think it's mostly the angle of the mouse-to-dongle that perhaps causes the shelf to interrupt the signal while using it,but I did notice considerable problems with the mouse simply becoming completely & unpredictably unresponsive. This wasn't much of a problem when playing an "action-adventure" type of game, where quick-response timing is less important, however this was a big problem when playing online FPS games and it's a problem that I don't experience with the traditional mouse I used previously. When attempting to make sudden movements (such as to shoot the enemy) the mouse would lag so much I'd get killed.While I'm not sure you would have this problem if you don't have any obstruction between the dongle & the mouse, I can't attest to how far its straight-line-of-sight range is. Lastly,I wanted to mention, it all comes in an amazing, heavy-duty presentation-style box that has a rigid foam insert which hold all the accessories and prevents them from being lost. Overall, I do really like this mouse and I look forward to testing it out in a more optimal setting.

The lightweight design and quick tap response time is the best thing about it. There's no lagging and it makes it so much easier to play my games without worrying about a cord getting twisted up and interfering with my gaming experience. I'm definitely a fan of this gaming mouse and the bar has been set high and achieved!!!

I have not experienced any lag even though it is a wireless mouse. I would highly recommend this to anyone if they are trying to step up their gaming level.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Well built, lovely features, kinda heavy This mouse is very nice. I was able to customize it heavily to work the way I wanted. My only negative comment is that it's a bit heavy if you're playing games that require you to lift and reorient your mouse often (FPSs mostly). Went back to a lighter mouse for that reason alone, but I still use this as an office mouse simply because of the macros I can use to automate some of the work I do.

I love that it has a compatible mouse bad that can charge the mouse. I have small hands but the mouse fits nicely in my hands.

Its amazing and the best things i liked about this mouse is i am writing below. 1) Absolutely no lagging at all. And the response time being 0.2 ms provides fastest performance. 2) Its wireless ( has the usb port and can be used as a wired mouse too) that is no more mess of wires and with battery life that last whole day. ( Charges real fast with qi charging pad). 3) Its sleek , premium with ergonomic design that enables the removal of side parts and its completely reversible so that it can be used both left and right handedly. ( Ambidextrous mouse) 4) Both DPI and LED light option on the mouse are adjustable. DPI accommodates fastest mouse movements. 5) HP omen command center app is really easy to install and connect and mouse is fully programmable through it. Overall its fantastic mouse for the gamers.

My only complaint is that I couldn't find drivers for the rgb light settings on HP's website.

It has a certain weight and heft that makes it feel expensive in the hand, and the size is comfortable in my hand. The clicks are tactile and extremely responsive. I have a wired Razer Lancehead Tournament Edition gaming mouse and this HP Omen is just as responsive, which is exceptional for a wireless mouse.

It's rather hard to do with a regular mouse and this mouse has a ton of great features that help him be skilled in his online gaming conquests. Theres multiple buttons on each side for easy and quick reaction times, and its wireless which makes it that much better. Added lights on it make it look even cooler!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Comfortable and Smooth I'm a pretty casual gamer - I mostly play RPG's (The Witcher, Assassin's Creed and Undertale) with the exception of a few shooters like Destiny 2 and Wolfenstein and also a few puzzle games like Fez and the Witness. My review for this mouse (used in conjunction with the OMEN Outpost mousepad) is based off my experience playing Destiny 2 and Wolfenstein as those are mouse-heavy games. I'm incredibly impressed with this mouse. I didn't notice any lag and it performed just as well as a wired mouse. It moves smoothly, has a comfortable grip and I adjusted to it easily from my last mouse. The colors are definitely an added bonus especially since everything on a built PC has so many options for different LED's, it's nice to be able to match your whole set up to whatever you want. Definitely pleased with this upgrade!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good features This mouse is so cool besides the fact that you can customize the colors on it. It has multiple buttons on it for gameplay and everyday use. It has 2 cook features on the sides they can come off and be put back on with ease to keep your fingers from dragging on the mousepad. Its wireless and rechargeable which is a major plus so you dint have to hassle with cords. It glides around the mousepad with ease and the functions are great. I'm really enjoying this mouse and wont be switching back to junky ones again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from null I have always loved the Omen line of HP products. Needless to say, I was very excited to get my hands on this mouse as I am an avid FPS and MMORPG player. First and foremost it pairs pretty sweetly with my HP Omen laptop. The build quality is excellent and does not feel too bulky when I'm playing FPS games. The LED lights are a nice touch as well and the colors change as you adjust the DPI settings. Although I bought this mouse for gaming, it now stars as my mouse for every day computer use. I'm very impressed by this mouse but not surprised given HP Omens excellent reputation!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Serious Mouse! I'm not a gamer, and probably are not putting this thing to the true test. That being said, it's a heavy duty mouse with a great feel. Hand rests very nicely on it. Love the full size of it, bigger than other mouses I've used in the past. The wireless aspect of this mouse is really nice. It responds very well. It's the nicest mouse I've owned. Definitely recommend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great wireless mouse This is my first wireless mouse, I love this thing, it has the same sensor as the pluse fire haste, which was my previous mouse. It holds a a charge for multiple days, has wireless charging. No noticable (to me) input delay with wireless, customizability, the only cons are the buttons feel cheap and move around if you press on the sides, it has a big notchy scroll wheel that has side clicks. Overall loving this with story games and fps mp games on PC.

Even though this is a wireless mouse there is very little latency in the movement of the cursor. I highly recommend getting this in combination with the Mousepad in the same series.

The instructions were very straight forward and I had no problem assembling the additional pieces that came in the box. Connecting the mouse was also easy, which is really the main component of what makes this mouse stand out. It felt like I was using a wired mouse, meaning I did not experience any delay which is amazing. The mouse contours to the hand is such a way that makes your hand feel very relaxed but in a solid way. I highly recommend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The best mouse I’ve ever used I’m a lifelong gamer but still kinda new to the whole mouse and keyboard thing. I have tried a few different mouses( mice?) but this is by far the best one I have tried. I love the fact that it’s wireless. It’s so much more convenient than a wired one. And with the charging pad, it can last for hours and hours of gaming without worrying about recharging or changing batteries like some I have tried. The customizable button configurations is a huge plus also. The response time is amazing also, can’t tell if it has any lag whatsoever. All in all it’s a very well made piece of gaming equipment that I hope to get lots of use from. Love it

So far I love this mouse. Originally, I was a little considered about the battery life, but it last for quite awhile. Additionally, I like how this mouse is customizable in the sense you can remove the thumb rests. You can also add additional clickable button. Over all I am really happy with the Omen by HP.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Mouse for the Whole Family We've been taking turns using this mouse since everyone in the house wanted to try it. It has a nice look and some even better features that we all wanted to try it. I'm not a heavy gamer and will play just basic mmo type games on occasion. My main use is graphic design. I like that the mouse is super responsive without being wired with no delays that I noticed. I would charge it every few days when needed by the included cord and it needed no setup as it started working and was recognized by my gaming laptop as soon as I plugged in the USB dongle My youngest tried it next with the Omen by Hp Outpost mouse pad and he is definitely more of a gamer playing first person shooter, MMO, Open World, and platformers type of games. He really liked the wide range of DPI settings it offered and didn't notice any lag between using the wired mouse he was using versus this one. He loved the customization options and that it was easy to switch between DPI along with fast charging on the mousepad. My husband loves the side wings on both sides that come in handy for him when he's gaming so he doesn't get irritated from his thumb and little finger rubbing against the mousepad. My son's only criticism is that it was a little smaller than he preferred. It was a good size for the rest of us. I will definitely have to get more for Christmas for my two sons and myself since my husband has decided he gets to keep it.

So I read the instructions and it said stuff like when the battery light indicator blinks red that means it needs to charge and when Its amber when your charging it that means it's over 80% and white fully charged and it says charges in 2.5 hours MINE STAYED AMBER AND NEVER TURNED WHITE I HAD IT PLUGGED FOR HOURS THINKING MAYBE IT JUST NEEDS A LOT MORE HOURS I WAS WRONG IT NEVER CHANGED IT STAYED AMBER AND WHEN I UNPLUGGED IT BLINKED THE WHITE LIGHT WHICH GOT ME MAD BECAUSE how would I have KNOWN? I am very angry.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from would be great but one major flaw Bought this along with the sequencer keyboard and photon mouse. I haven’t received my omen obelisk yet. Everything is awesome except one major (major to me) flaw. For whatever reason, the RGB light around the mousepad will absolutely not work if you’re using the included adapter for the usb type c connector. My current desktop doesn’t have one. So I used two USB ports for that adapter and that perimeter light will not work. I find this to be ridiculous given the 99$ price tag on a mouse pad. I’m sure once my new omen arrives and I hook it directly to the the type c port I will work fine and be worthy of a 5star rating. But this small issue is sort of big for me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great gaming mouse This wireless mouse feels great and has very good battery life. The software is easy to use and does not need to be ran in the background. This is also the only ambidextrous mouse on the market that has the thumb rest, so if you are left handed and want to use a mouse with thumb rest then this is definitely the mouse for you. In terms of input lag there is no difference compared to a wired gaming mouse as long as you put the USB receiver close to the mouse.

It’s is super customizable by changing button layouts and how you can rest fingers on it. Very comfortable! My son loves it for his gaming! He especially likes the various colors but you can program it so that the colors disappear if you do not like that feature.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cool mouse but right click button is loose I have the omen laptop and so I got this mouse to match it, it's cool and I like the extra buttons and light color customization, but the right click button feels loose and shifts back and forth (the left does not). I even exchanged it for a new one and it has the same problem. It's not a huge deal but it definitely bugs me especially because it's a pricey mouse. Would be 5 stars aside from that.

I've been using an outdated mouse for awhile, and it's pretty pricey too, but since I got Omen Photon Wireless Mouse I feel like the control I had in gaming has been regained. No weird turning glitches, smooth motions and ultra sensitive responses from the mouse itself. It gave me back a certain mobility that my other mouse, and other mouses, have not provided. A custom feel that adjusts to your hand's grip, performance and overall shape. I am in so much love right now! The sensory picks up and catches mobile signals without much effort. I feel freer and more excelled now in my gaming sessions!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Definitely most preferred mouse for a non-gamer I have never been much of a PC gamer though I have played games occasionally. I am, however, a lifelong student and a professional who depends 100% on a computer, a mouse, and a keyboard. With the daily computing needs, it's very difficult and quite honestly annoying to have to depend on the built in trackers on laptops so converting the mouse to an external one as well as an ergonomic keyboard is a must. The problem with a lot of previous mouse that I have used is that they're either not ergonomic and/or not responsive enough. This led me to have to change multiple changes throughout the year. This is honestly the very first time I tried an official gaming mouse and I am SO happy that this particular model was my selection! The mouse is INCREDIBLY responsive as I would imagine a full time gamer would want it to be. The mouse is wireless and unlike all other wireless ones I have used, I cannot tell you how much of a game changer the Qi wireless charging pad is! No need to constantly replug to a usb and the charging process is a complete breeze! The quality and overall feel and built of this mouse is incredible! It has a very solid construction and looks very crisp. For those who are ambidextrous, this is the mouse for you! Time and time again when I had to switch the hands using this mouse, the difference is nonexistent. It's built for the right hand just as much as its built for the left. I also happen to have fairly advanced arthritis which previously led me to rely mostly on ergonomic mouse but this almost feels like was built with comfort and ergonomic in mind. Now I can use functionality and quality without sacrificing comfort and ease. This mouse is also multifunctional. There are several buttons on the sides of the mouse as well that can be programmed to perform various functions. This is one feature I admittedly have not put to complete use due to my personal needs from this mouse but I have to admit, this would make it a breeze for the audience it's intended for- the gamers. The lighting definitely adds to the aesthetics without a doubt! The mouse lights up with their incorporated designs being visible and highlighted very nicely. The mouse continues to change colors as you use it. It has an auto sensor so when you stop using it for a while, it will self conserve by "shutting down" but gets restarted right when you try to use it again. Also because it is wireless, there are no snags and pulls and frustrating fights with a wire of course as with my previous ergonomic model. No tagging or pulling and this is even more important for those who have toddlers who are overcurious about everything we use in daily life. No danger of wrapped wires for them, and no annoying fight matches with wires for us! In addition to the functionality and the breeze of use, the look of this mouse is definitely the most appealing I have used. When lit, the mouse has this incredible space ship/futuristic look which undoubtedly looks beyond cool. Overall, if you're looking for seemless functionality, wireless, multifunctional, and very comfortable mouse, this is definitely my recommendation, whether or not you need it for gaming needs!

Its great for gaming but also for everyday computer activties. You can change the settings so its not so senstive during non-gaming activities. Its wireless that can be charged through Qi charging. The battery life is long. The package states up to a 50 hour battery life. I went almost a week without having to charge it. The feel and the comfort of the mouse is superb.

I enjoy the 'feel' of the OMEN and find it pretty convenient that it charges wirelessly on the mousepad from HP. It's very smooth and responds well with my current PC.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Gaming Mouse This is not only the coolest mouse but it's one of the best gaming mouse I have tried. The features on this mouse are awesome. It has changing LED lights. I also love that its wireless. And I have not gotten any delays between the mouse and computer. As for battery life you can use it a whole day before charging it. It lasts pretty much all day and then can be charged overnight ready for the next day. Also the shape of the mouse is comfortable sometimes mouse shapes can cause your hands to cramp because of the shape. This one I haven't experience any cramping with. Overall this is a really great gaming mouse as it has quite alot of features and is just easy to use and adjust to. I highly reccomend this gaming mouse.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Don’t bother if have a Mac The quality of this mouse is top quality. It feels expensive, which is satisfying since it is expensive. I tried using this on a Mac but I couldn’t figure out how to customize the buttons. I couldn’t find any way to download the control center for MacOS. I also wasn’t able to increase the tracking speed to where I like it. In theory the mouse is great, unfortunately I could get it to work.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lots of pieces This comes with lots of little pieces which I uave a hard time keeping track of I wouldnt mind if it was 1 or 2 little pieces but there is a handful of them. I do appreciate that the mouse comes with everything it needs to work correctly. I also tried it with the compatible mousepad which was a better experience. The mouse itself works well for what its intended for and has a great color scheme.

This mouse is more money than a lot of mice on the market, but if you watch prices, this can be bought on sale for very little more than much more basic mouse, and all the features make it well worth that little bit more. I don't do a ton of gaming, but for day to day productivity I really enjoy the customization both in hardware and software. I was skeptical at first about the side "wings" at first, but they are very comfortable. I like that I can use it with or without them. I also really appreciate how you can set what each DPI point you switch to using the top button, I have found as I use it and get used to the higher DPI I am slightly increasing it and fine tuning the perfect sensitivity for me. Now when I use other people's mice I realize how getting the perfect sensitivity is. I highly recommend this mouse!

Very comfortable, I was worried the symmetric shape would have sacrifices but this is not at all the case. Nice weight as well. I also enjoy the omen command center since I have it open anyway to monitor temps so it’s nice to have all the hardware managed in one program. The dongle is slim enough that it never leaves my laptop.

I LOVE all the buttons you can program. mouse is a bit heavy though. thought i would like the thumb and finger rests but i took them off almost right away.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Changing the game Straight out of the box you know this mouse is a game changer! The mouse is heavy but handles easily and fits comfortably in my hand. You cant adjust the lenght but flanges on sides are removable. I like them left on myself as my thumb tends to drag. Mouse is also fully reversible, all parts can be switched to the other side to create a left-handed mouse. This can be charged with any QI adapter. It comes with a USB adapter. The port is on the front. You can also get a Omen QI Mouse Pad if you want to put a bit more money into it. I think its well worth the extra to not have to worry about charging. As far as performance I'm convinced this cant be beat! It works as fast as any wireless mouse I've used with no lag or delay at all. It paired easily right out of the box. There are 11 programmable buttons, some needing programmed before they are usable in gaming. The Omen Command Center makes programming very easy to do. Colors change as you adjust your DPI during use which I found very cool. Holds charge for up to 50 hours.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fast Response Time The OMEN by HP Photon Wireless mouse has a much faster response time than any other mouse I have used. It is also an ambidextrous mouse for those that are left handed and can be easily converted from left to right or right to left. Which makes it easy to switch between users. It is long and slender and has removable thumb and pinkie rests on each side, which is a nice customization to get a good comfortable fit when using. Although this mouse can be used on any Windows based computer in order to customize the DPI, colors, and Macros (basicly how fast or slow the mouse responds to your actions) you need Windows 10 to dowload the software (Command Center) which will allow you to do the fun stuff. There are color and animations that can be customized, which is a really cool feature. I chose to try all of the combinations out, constant change colors, blinking, and fade in and out. I have to say I like them all equally. You can also change the colors as well from rainbow, red, purple, and blue. This has to be my favorite non functional feature. The mouse comes with a charging USB which includes what I think of is like a wireless booster, so that you dont lose connection from your computer to the mouse so there is not a delay, I did notice that my computer was quicker to respond to my actions on the mouse. Great battery life as I have gone over a week without a charge. Overall it is a fantastic mouse with great and fun features

It also comes with options on side guards so your fingers do not have to slide across the mouse pad. Great mouse so far though.I would definitely recommend this mouse. I have had a bunch of mouse before and I think this it the best. I play a lot of games and it is light weight so I can easily maneuver around the mouse pad. It comes with great sensitivity and fabulous response time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Must Get! This mouse is amazing, I use it both for gaming and in the office. I work in a office that requires me to always be on a computer. I have used many different ones and I have never found a mouse that fits my had and doesn't make it hurt until I found this one. It is also great for both gaming and work becuase of the programmable buttons, it has a extremely long battery life, it has a quick response and moves smoothly across the screen. I will admit if you have smaller hands it might take some getting use to but over all I would recommend it to everyone.

I spend most of my days on the computer for work and found myself getting hand cramps etc. This mouse is so comfortable and fits my hands so well. The wireless part is just a bonus! It was super easy to connect to my laptop. The quality of the mouse is outstanding! Run, don't walk, to get yourself one of these!

I have never used a mousepad this big but I have to say it gives me ample room especially for gaming. This is even more important for day to day tasks since I use an ultrawide monitor. Of course the best feature of this mousepad is built-in Qi charging which can be used to charge devices. I have used it to charge the HP Omen Photon mouse as well as my Android smartphone. The surface of the mousepad is just the right texture to make sure its not too slippery or resistive. RGB lighting around the mousepad and on the top-middle is a great feature to extend your RGB lighting setup to the mousepad.

It's a perfect weight for him, and has removable parts that make it adjustable to fit his hand size. It has a great response time and glides flawlessly on the matching mouse pad. It also has held up to the wear and tear tweens can put it through. Overall it's a great wireless gaming mouse for the price point.

The instructions were very straight forward and I had no problem assembling the additional pieces that came in the box. Connecting the mouse was also easy, which is really the main component of what makes this mouse stand out. It felt like I was using a wired mouse, meaning I did not experience any delay which is amazing. The mouse contours to the hand is such a way that makes your hand feel very relaxed but in a solid way. I highly recommend.
