Its a strange mousepad but goes well w/ the proton mouse so I give it a 4 bc of that, & bc I'm reviewing it when its on a large sale Feb/March 2023; otherwise, at full price, I'd rate 3.75 bc it goes well with the mouse & has OK features you can set it the software.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pretty sweet mouse pad! Our family got this a month ago. I’ve used it with my laptop for work and my son has used it with his laptop for gaming. It’s nice because each user can flip it to the soft or hard side depending on preference. It’s very helpful to be able to lay your phone on it to charge while using the mouse. However the charging spot isn’t that large so you have to lay it on just right depending on phone size. Can be used easily with Microsoft or Apple products.

I was worried about size, but it is plenty large enough to allow for any movement you need with FPS games, even on super low sensitivity. It’s durable, and slick across the board. Would recommend to any gamer who is looking for a charging solution.

There is a packet of instructions for it with all the pieces. The mousepad is compatible with the mouse that can be purchased separately and if you have all the extra space its great.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from null I'm a pretty casual gamer - I mostly play RPG's (The Witcher, Assassin's Creed and Undertale) with the exception of a few shooters like Destiny 2 and Wolfenstein and also a few puzzle games like Fez and the Witness. My review for this mousepad (used in conjunction with the OMEN Outpost Photon mouse) is based off my experience playing Destiny 2 and Wolfenstein as those are mouse-heavy games. I thought the mousepad was awesome! They really thought through this one when designing it. I really love having the option to change out the texture of the mousepad - sometimes you need smooth and quick and others you just need a precise movement. It's incredibly convenient to be able to charge your mouse right on the mouse pad. Definitely a great upgrade to my set up!

With perfect thickness, size ,a perfect surface and fast charging ability it has become the best ever mousepad in the market. Its reversible with soft and hard side to customize the precision controls according to DPI settings of your mouse. It also synchronizes with mouse to match the exact customizable RGB LED lighting the mouse has. The two best thing that i liked most about this mousepad is that it charges my wireless mouse very fast and has USB port to connect and charge additional devices. My mouse glides smoothly on it and the quality of it tells that it will last forever. Definitely worth it.

My wife hates that I will not get out of my gaming chair to hang out with her since I got this Mousepad (alongside the matching mouse). But on a serious note, if you have the extra money to spend on this; I highly recommended it.

The sleek design is second to none and I really enjoy pairing this product with the photon wireless mouse. The ability to wirelessly charge my mouse has saved me time and money on batteries, especially with my daily usage of the Photon. I am impressed with the thoughtfulness of HP to make one side of the pad soft and the other hard depending on my preference fir the day. I'm already looking forward to the next HP omen item I can get my hands on!

It can charge any QI compatible devices such as your smart phone or wireless mouse which I found to be very convenient. You dont have to worry about your mouse losing charge while in use. If you purchace the Omen QI wireless mouse you can sync the 2 together easily. There are a large number of color combinations you can program into the mousepad which is really cool. The surface is reversible with one side being the cloth-like material you find with average mouse pads and the other being a hard, smooth surface. This allows for very quick mouse movements that is perfect for high action games. The overall look and design is very nice. I definitely reccommend this mousepad for anyone serious about their gaming.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Missing Information I will begin with what I like first. The surface options for the mouse pad are great and I like that you can easily switch them. The wireless charging is a neat concept and works fine on my iPhone. Now time for the bad. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE USB-C 3.0 GEN2. If you do not you cannot receive the full lighting effects you wish from this device. No where was it noted that you need a 15W USB type-c port. If you do not have this you are stuck with only the OMEN logo to customize. The included USB adapter does nothing to help this issue and can still only illuminate the logo. Check the HP Community forums for more!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect size for Gaming I've had this mousepad for almost a month and really love it. We share the gaming desktop computer with the kids so I probably get the least amount of time with it, but for me the greatest feature is the QI charging option which I use for my phone. I don't really like that to plug it into the computer it takes two USB slots, but it's not a deal breaker. My son that is a heavy gamer loves the size and having the option on which side to use (hard or softer) and can flip it if he chooses. The customization on the lights also look really awesome. We really got the most out of issuing it with the hp omen wireless mouse (by the way the mouse charges on it too). Since we also have a back lit keyboard, I have to say gaming or just working in the dark looks really awesome.

The QI wireless charger is amazing and charges my phone or my Omen mouse, keeping our desk cleaner. My only complaint is that I couldn't find drivers for the rgb light settings on HP's website.

It is a must have for any gamer and office worker. I love the feature of a wireless charger being attached to the pad making it easy for me to charge my phone and my HP outpost mouse all in one. the fact that if I gaming I can flip the pad over to harder side for smoother and faster movement and if I am working I can flip it back over to the softer side is absolutley amazing.

I have used a few gaming mouses before, but all the wireless ones I have used were not the best quality and ran through batteries rather quickly. This charging mousepad is an absolute game changer. Not only is the Omen mouse awesome, with this pad I can game for hours without worrying about the mouse dying in the middle of some intense battle. Super excited about the Omen setup. Really loving it so far.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from good experience This mouse is easily the best I have used in a long time. I love the fact that it is chargeable and wireless and that you can use a Qi charger to charge it. I have large hands and was somehwat concerned about the fit but it worked out great for me. I think the removable finger rests are great and the fact that they attach magnetically is a nice touch. The scroll wheel is smooth, although I would prefer if it were a little quieter than it is right now. RGB lighting is an awesome feature since it allowed me to match my existing lighting setup.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from True game changer in the mousepad world I recently got a wireless gaming mouse by omen and fell in love with the design, built, construction, and functionality. I decided to opt for the charging pad to go along as a set. I am SO glad I did! If you’ve ever owned any wireless accessories, you’ll know how frustrating it gets when it’s time game time for you (well for me it’s work time but I’d say it’s equally if not even more frustrating) and you realize that the accessory is running low on batteries. I guess some people are able to avoid this unfortunate encounter by responsibly either charging or timely changing batteries, but for me it seems to always hit me as a surprise the next day since my head is busy with a million and one things and charging at a moments notice is quite hard (especially for a new mom). Well this is perhaps my absolute best feature of this mousepad ! I no longer have to worry about changing batteries and now I don’t have to remember to plug in my mouse or even my phone! This genius product has a USB port to which you can attach any device and charge as your mouse gathers the charge by your simple placement of it on the pad. Mousepad is capable of charging all Qi enabled devices which includes my recently purchased omen mouse as well as smartphones. When my mouse was fully drained, the longest it took to fully charge and revive was about 2 hours and 11 minutes! That’s completely doable for a busy body or an often absent minded person. While I use this mainly for work purposes, I have a baby who joins me quite often and shakes up the life out of whatever I happen to work with. Well this mousepad has proven time and time again that it is of a very solid built and construction! What I have noticed with constant rattling is that the mousepad takes it all. Meaning that it withstands rapid movements and also withstands the super cold drinks or heat from a super hot mouse or phone. No marks. No fraying. Just perfectly durable! One cool feature is that the mousepad has a reversible surface where you can reverse a soft and a hard surface. The soft one is mainly what I use but I did have an instance where my mouse was acting up and I needed to try rolling it on a harder surface. So I quickly turned it over and voila, it was seamless and very easy to do. I immediately noticed that the soft side delivered more precise control while the hard enabled quicker movements. So depending on your needs and uses, this is definitely so far my first pick. Another feature which seems to be translating across all omen products I have tried so far is the gorgeous aesthetics. The look and feel of the mousepad is just truly stunning and amazing. The lighting and your ability to customize the lighting, the super cool Futuristic logo combined with a very sleek designed product, definitely confirms your love of the product! I’ve tried uploading photos to show off the mousepad in more detail but for some reason I am having technical problems uploading them. Hands down though, If you have their mouse especially, this is definitely a must buy. Even if you don’t though but happen to have Qi devices or mouse(s) this is still my first recommendation for a mousepad!

I have an iPhone XR and it changed it up, It comes with LED lighting to let you know it is powered on. Lightweight. It has interchangeable features. It can have a smooth or rough surface. You choose your preference.Not too too big nor too small surface area for the mouse. Very easy to clean too. Material looks like it going to last a long time. I would recommend this mouse not only for a gamer but any one who wants to use their mouse, pad and charge thier phones simultaneously.

The mouse glides perfectly on the pad and keeps it stable while gaming. The only setback to this pad is that it is rather large. You should focus on using it for gaming and not for office work is all. Other than that it was a great product that does its job.

It completely charges the OMEN wireless mouse in 2 and half hours - while you're playing - so that you never have to worry about charging up your mouse. It has a large (aprox 13.5" x 13.5") mouse pad which is hard on one side & soft on the other, which allows you to use whatever side you like. The charging area is located above the pad and never gets in the way of using the mouse. It has programmable LED lights, that match the mouse, and look really great. It has a USB 3 style cord & comes with an adapter for the USB A-style port, so you can use it with either. The mouse pad, its self, has a USB A port, so you can plug the mouse dongle into it while the pad is plugged into the computer, if you like. When the mouse pad isn't plugged in, you can us it like any other mouse pad, with your mouse dongle plugged into the computer. I will note a few things here... Logically, if the mouse pad isn't plugged in, it can't charge the mouse. Also, if the mouse pad isn't plugged into the computer, you can't plug the dongle into the pad & expect it to work, obviously. The mouse pad charging cord measures about 4 feet long and the adapter for the USB A adds about another 8" or so. I wanted to sit farther away than that from my computer, so I plugged the mouse dongle into the computer and plugged the mouse pad into a USB charging hub that was plugged into the wall and it worked excellent. PLEASE NOTE : Nowhere in the included instructions have I found anything that says it is ok to plug this mouse pad into anywhere but your computer, so it IS possible that it MIGHT hurt it to do so - I really can't say. I will tell you, so far it still functions properly, even after I did this. Lastly, like the OMEN mouse, it comes in a really nice, heavy-duty presentation style box. All-in-all, I think this pad works great to charge your mouse while looking good, too.

Not only can it recharge the mouse matching mouse but the material it is made out of provides great control of the moue. I also love that it is fairly large giving you a good amount of surface area to move the mouse around on.

It also is really nice for my 3 monitor setup. I can scroll from the far side of one monitor to the other without having to lift the mouse. I will be using this for quite some time.

It has held up to the wear and tear my tween has put it through. The only thing I wish I could change is that it would wirelessly charge the mouse if left anywhere on the pad. You have to place the mouse on the bar along the top for it to charge the mouse. Not a huge deal, but would be a useful idea to have. Overall I like it a lot.

The mousepad even lights up! It's amazing. The Qi charger not only charges the omen wireless mouse but charges anything Qi compatible which means I can put my phone down and it charges!

I use this mouse pad along with the Outpost Mouse and they work so well together! The Qi charger on the mousepad is the perfect addition for charging my phone while I'm on my laptop! My one frustration was the directions on setting it up were lacking but otherwise I would give this mousepad to everyone if I could!

First of all, it comes with almost zero instructions, so figuring out the various functions of it was trial-and-error, and I'm sure I'm still missing some. Secondly, the main feature of this mouse pad is the wireless charging and I'm very unimpressed with it. It's really aggravating trying to move the device you want to charge around the charging area trying to get it to connect. Once you manage it, the odds that it's going to immediately disconnect are about 50/50 in my experience. And then sometimes it will be sitting there for 2 minutes connected and then suddenly disconnect for no discernible reason. Finally, the rate of charging is pretty pathetic. I charge my wireless mouse with this and it takes well over 2 hours to get a full charge. I was also excited at the prospect of charging my phone while I work at my computer. In an hour, my phone charge level went up 5 percentage points, so definitely not impressed with that. This is a great concept but definitely needs more work.

In the past I have always used logitech product, but I really love the OMEN line by HP. This mousepad is awesome! I can't tell you how many times I've ran out of battery life with previous solutions. In the past I would be looking around for back batteries are or rushing to the store, not anymore! This mouse pad charges your mouse like the new iphones, which is pretty cool. I love using this product. The only note I have is the mouse pad itself is relatively large and I don't have my screens mounted, so I had to make some desk adjustments to fit it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It’s huge! I got this to go along with my photon mouse. I didn’t expect it to be so big. It hardly fits on my desk. The charging area is nice but the battery lasts so long on the mouse it’s kinda overkill. I guess you can’t have too much power? It has a nice feel to it though, the mouse feels really nice on it. The large size is nice for one thing, you never hit the edge.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works great I got this about a month ago to go with the new gaming computer I just recently set up in my gaming room. I got this to go with my mouse. They both work great together. It charges the mouse which is a huge plus not having to worry about battery life. I also that it’s reversible with a hard and soft side.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great! My husband got this to go with the matching gaming mouse as he plays lots of video games on his PC. He really liked it! There is a soft and hard side, he likes the hard side to go better with the settings he has on his mouse. The wireless charging pad on it is a great feature, I even use it for my smartphone!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Stylish but could be designed better The mouse pad feels great and comes with hard/soft surfaces. It also charges really fast. With that being said, the wireless charging only works in the area next to the colored logo which is outside of the mouse area. This design makes no sense because the point of wireless charging mouse pad is that you should be able to use and charge your mouse at the same time. In order to charge your mouse using this mouse pad you will need to place it in the charging area which essentially means you can’t use the mouse while it’s charging, which is a major disappointment to me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice Mousepad This paired well with the omen by hp photon wireless mouse. It was very easy to set up. And immediately it charged the mouse. I also like that its quite wide so that way you can have enough space to move the mouse around on. It has a USB port which I find very useful on the side. The top icon has rgb lighting that matches the mouse which is nice to have everything matching. It's a really great mousepad especially to charge the mouse.
