Great Gaming Laptop 10/10 would buy again!
This 17" laptop is affordable yet powerful. I've always been an Alienware and Lenovo fan, but I actually like HP's gaming laptop line for the first time. The battery life is decent for a gaming laptop, and the full-size keyboard is a plus. I would definitely recommend this to fellow gamers. It is a bit heavy though.

New Purchase
We love the computer. It boots up rocket fast. I have used it on battery for as much as 8 hours before needing to charge. I am still getting used to the feel of this laptop vs. my old one. So far it has lived up to the hype.

Fantastic graphics and screen
Great notebook, but the keyboard is lacking for a gaming notebook. Very fast and handles games that tax the Xbox with ease.

Laptop and HP Support Review
I purchased this HP laptop directly from HP, and unfortunately I experienced a serious issue very early on. During the third week of use, the USB port adapter failed, making it impossible for me to properly use the laptop.
I contacted HP support and had a very frustrating experience. My call was transferred three times and disconnected twice before I was finally connected with a technician. When I did reach the HP tech, he spent over one hour trying to resolve the problem. Despite his effort, the issue could not be fixed.
I was then told that I would need to return the laptop for repair, which is expected to take 8–10 business days. During this time, I will not have access to my laptop and will be unable to complete my online school training, which is a serious inconvenience.
While the technician was professional, the overall experience has been disappointing—especially considering how new the laptop is and how long the support process took without a resolution. I expected better product reliability and a smoother support experience from HP.

Replaced my old HP 1050
Bought this to replace an old HP Gaming laptop running a 1050 NVIDEA GPU. Games I could no longer play like No Mans Sky and Red Dead Redemption run great on it!
