The WLAN Security Switch 2350 is the smallest switch in the 2300 series and is ideally suited for extending WLAN services to small or branch office environments. The WLAN Security Switch 2350 can control up to 3 access points and offers the same features as the larger 2300 switches but in a smaller package and lower price point.

Features and Benefits:
“No Touch” Configuration and Management: Designed for hassle-free installation, the 2350 can be completely configured and managed by a remote administrator and doesn’t require any local technical expertise.
WAN Link Offload: To protect against overuse of limited WAN bandwidth, the 2350 offloads backend AAA servers of 802.1x/EAP processing and only backhauls data traffic that is destined to other sites.
WAN Link Failure Protection: In the event of a WAN link failure the switch can assume local AAA services to keep the WLAN service alive.
VPN and Firewall Compatible: The WLAN Security Switch 2350 provides local control of access points and doesn’t require any reconfiguring of WAN routers, VPN gateways or firewalls.
QoS Standards: Supports WMM, SVP, 802.1p & DiffServ for voice and multi-media traffic prioritization.
Seamless Roaming: Enables layer 2 and 3 roaming among all access points, even those controlled by other WLAN Security Switches.
Fast Roaming: User authentication information and associated policies are shared with other 2300 series switches to minimize delay and jitter while roaming.
Multicast Management: IGMP v1/v2 support and multicast membership binding for high-performance wireless multicast services.
User Load Balancing: Continually monitors user load and automatically redirects new users to alternative APs to deliver the best possible user performance.
Dynamic RF Management: Calculates optimal 802.11 channel assignments and radio power transmission levels for all associated APs and adapts to user load, interference, RF obstacles and jamming attacks.
User RF Optimization: Assimilates client RF data and usage patterns along with basic RF data from access points for improved RF tuning and user performance.
Resilient Design: Dual power supplies, Multi-Link Trunking, active-standby architecture options, load balanced AAA and n+1 redundancy for access point connectivity eliminates single points of failure.
