When I first purchased the product it was because I already knew what router I wanted, from a brand I trust. I have amazing coverage, it even surprised me that it reached all the way to my car. What I didn’t realize is that I got even more value than I expected, especially due to the fact that it works to connect my Ethernet cables directly to my internet for faster speeds. Very impressive!

Better than expected
The router from ISP was strong, but not compatible with some of our equipment. After several complaints from the family, I had to make a decision. Selecting Netgear was definitely the right choice. Everything works great, and I'm not getting anymore complaints from my family. Especially the gamers.

Great speed and easy installation.
This is my first new router in 10plus years. My old one crapped out on me and the house was in a panic with no internet. Went to Best Buy and picked this one out for its value and square footage it covered. Not gonna lie, I was a little intimidated to have to install a new router. Found this Netgear router very easy to install. I did call the support line to help with renaming the router because I wanted to have it personalized with the same name as my old router. I believe it was about 11pm on a Sunday night and to my surprise I was able to get help. The tech on the support line was very helpful and walked me through step by step and within 5 mins or so I was up and running with the desired name for my WiFi. This router seems to run a lot quicker than my old Linksys one did. With two teenagers and my wife and I, it has no trouble keeping up with all our devices. I highly recommend this router.

I bought this router to replace an older model that still worked fine but was no longer receiving security updates. Set up was a breeze with the app and my wifi is even better with the new router.I love how I can control access to the router via the web portal since I live in an apartment building and neighbors can easily see my network.I am now using the Netgear Armour as well. It makes me feel more secure having that added layer of protection on my devices.

When I recieved the wireless internet at my home they installed a cheap router that the TV in my living room couldn't find on 5g. I bought a NETGEAR AX4 4-Stream AX1800 WiFi 6 Router and hooked it up. Not only does the TV in the living room hook to it on 5g, the TV in the basement hooks up to it too.

My 6 year old Asus router died and after doing some research decided on the Netgear AX 1800 router. It was a good choice and am very happy with it so far. The set up was easy for this sometimes technically challenged 82 year old Grandpa. My network is operating at a level not seen previously. Very happy with this router and can highly recommend it for a home router.

Best VPN Stabilized Wifi
This wifi router has saved my life! I work from home full time and constantly had my VPN drop during the workday. I was forced to use a Ethernet which looks kinda clunky that I would roll it out to connect in the morning and roll it back to disconnect. I had someone tel me that the problem with the VPN not being stabile is my wifi router which I was currently renting from my internet provider! When I did my research on what wifi router to have and this one had the best review plus it was affordable. Now, I’m loving the wifi and it’s stronger than ever!! This is worth it if you work from home!

This router is very simple to install, just connect the power cable and the internet port and thats it.
You need to set your internet connection once, and then you can move your router wherever you want (under the same internet provider) and it will work.

Difficult setup
I bought this router to use as an access point. The setup was incredibly difficult. I finally had to disconnect my main router, set this one up as the main then get to the web interface and change to access point. At that point I was able to reconnect the main router. The is no reason to complicate a simple network setup by having to jump back and forth between a cell phone and a computer!

Cannot get it to connect. Tried everything including call to Geek Squad, Staples and my Cable supplier of my modem. Have been trying for a week. Husband now working from Starbucks wi-fi rather than home office. Now waiting for home visit which is a week away.

This router doubled my internet speeds. My wife can stream on Twitch and we can both game to our heart’s content. The setup was easy and it “looks a lot less like an alien spaceship than the last one” according to my wife.

Would not connect to internet - AT ALL
Spent an hour trying to get it to work on my own then called tech support and spent another 1.5 - 2 hours trying everything under the sun and it STILL would not connect to the internet. Save your money! Buy TP-Link - connected right out of the box!

Best WiFi Router I’ve had
I’ve gone through 4 different routers in the last 2 months. I needed one that supports 2G and 5G and doesn’t have to be rebooted every time there is a problem with the ISP. This one does that, plus it was easy to set up with the help of NETGEAR phone support.

I like the router and it works great with all our devices, except one (Owl camera, Ring). Not sure how to get these up and running again. I do not like the fact that I needed an app and set up an account with Netgear to get it to function correctly. I would have given this 3 stars based off these issues, but I couldn't change it from 5.

Recently purchased to upgrade my old router. So far this has been great. My internet speeds have increased on my devices from 20mbps to 80mbps. Also the app that you use with the router makes it easy to see what devices are connected to your router. Definitely recommend for coverage, speeds, and features.

Great WiFi 6 Router
This WiFi router is great. WiFi 6 capability allows my devices (that support the protocol) to browse and download with peak performance. Devices that are not WiFi 6 compatible are also incredibly fast. The multiple antennas on the back allow for very large connectivity range and little to no speed drop-off through walls and other obstacles. Setup is also a breeze with the mobile app and only takes approximately ten minutes. I highly recommend this router as it delivers great performance at a very reasonable price.

After you set it up, it automatically updates the firmware. Within 24 hours it will lock you out. Search the intent and everyone is having this problem with no solution from Netgear...

Excellent router choice
Great price point router! Nighthawk app makes setup easy. Mine is setup in a fairly central location and has very good range in my 1900 sq ft house. I feel I get full throughout speeds for my ISP. Speed tests confirm that.

Very Reliable and Strong Router
I live in apartment which has a router set up previously. The router was horrible as I get lags and disconnect over and over again every 30 seconds or so. Once I purchased the NetGear router, I got a fast, reliable, stable and strong connection to the internet. Now, I am playing games, streaming videos and downloading easily and as quickly as possible.

I have using routers from netgear a long time, because they are very good and bring me and all my family a good connection. I bought a new one, the same brand, that connection is amazing and safe. That is easy to configure and use. I couldn’t use other brand router after know netgear.

Setup instructions indicate password on label. Used all my own passwords and checked the box labels. Ultimately looking at the back (microscopic label found the password. The router, now, continues to operate excellent.

My old NetGear Router died after several years of use and I replaced it with the NetGear AX1800. Once I got the app loaded to my smartphone, it was relatively easy to enable the new router. I am very impressed with the speed and security features. Like the values that show the signal strength room-by-room throughout my home.

Had a NetGear router for 10 years so it was a no brainer to buy another one this past week. Installation was a complete fail. Spent a 3 days trying to get it to work. Called Tech Support twice. First time=was disconnected and no one called me back. Second call=Talked to two CA agents who escalated my issue. Then sat on hold for 95 minutes b4 I hung up. I returned product to Best Buy and purchased another router brand. So disappointed and disgusted by both the product and lack of support.

You would think that buying a Netgear router to interface with your Netgear Extender would be easy right?! WRONG!! Worst experience ever. The App is total garbage and to set up one device then access the other you must reinstall the device from scratch. The app itself locked me out of the router, reset button on device failed to work and ultimately had to return the device after 4 hours of trying to get it to work. Bought a Erro mesh system instead for around the same price and replaced all Netgear equipment with a record setup of 15min! Netgear for shame... you were king once!

Instructions are simple in 3-easy steps. It takes a little longer than that unless you already have the NETGEAR Nighthawk App. I like the simplicity of using the app to setup the router but if you want to manually set up, the instructions tell you how as well. The included NETGEAR Armor is a benefit but needs to be setup as well.

My several year old Netgear Wifi 4 Router wasn't providing fast enough speed so I researched an alternative. Found this wifi-6 and read some good reviews. I hoped for the best but didn't expect what I got. Installation was extremely easy using the Netgear Nighthawk Phone App. It walked me thru the setup fast and easy and in less than 10 minutes I was up and running. My old router was giving me an average wifi speed of 25-30 and I was paying for 100 wired. The first wifi speed check i ran using the 5G was 112, the 2.4Ghz was giving me 85-90. I highly recommend this router. For the wifi-6 router the price was less than $100.

I’ve set up a few wifi routers in my day . None of them were as simple and easy as this. All told, it took maybe 10 minutes to set up and get running. The range on the router is far beyond what’s stated. We have a camper out in the back yard that we hang out in during the off season and we’re never able to get a wifi signal. Now we can stream movies from our Apple TV . A most excellent bang for the buck.

We had changed our service provider to Spectrum and had them come out numerous times because we were not getting great wireless service as expected. We basically were told to buy a better router. We purchased Netgear Router and it works perfectly. Now we get service throughout the house with no problems. We can stream and do zoom meetings anywhere and on multiple devices. Upgraded from an N 150 router. Once installed, easy to add devices. We have not had the opportunity to check the speed of this router as we do not do gaming and have not tried to stream a movie yet. Our phones have as fast response as our pc as they switch to Wi-Fi when available. We returned to Netgear because of our still working and performing well for basic tasks N 150.

The Netgear modem/wireless router combo I have used for over 7 years has become taxed by the number of devices needing wi-fi in my home. It appears to have been a good choice to move to a separate modem and router to save a few dollars over the combo unit and it upgraded me to wi-fi 6 and gives me 2 bands for wireless connections. The only issue was on initial setup, but that was mostly a user error. I would have also liked to have a paper copy of instructions for set up, rather than being dependent on the app for set up instructions.

I am a senior and not the best technology person. I was afraid of switching out my 2 yr old router because I did not want to go through the hassle of adding all my devices back on the new router. Net gears app walked me through this and it easily transferred all my devices with using my old network name and password. I read you can do it but was not sure if I knew how to do it. Net gear walked me through it step by step. I was so thrilled. Thanks Netgear.

Had my friend install this for my google fiber internet. I’m getting faster speeds and great connectivity on all three floors of our house. Has Alexa capabilities which is great. We can limit our kids internet usage. Great product. Would recommend.

I’ve had this router for about two weeks, and it has been great so far. Set up was quick, and no dropouts yet. They really push the app for setup instead of via your computer. Not a deal breaker for me, but others might have to dig through the manual a bit to find the alternate installation options. Great router so far, and hopefully it stays that way!

I just recently decided to get a new router after trying out the Eero 6. I seen this one online and decided to go to Bestbuy to get a little more information on it (since I’m not that tech savvy). I explained what I use my internet for and the rep suggested this router as well. I hooked it up and couldn’t believe how much my internet speeds increased. I would definitely suggest this router for anyone looking for faster speeds.

This is probably hands down the best router I have ever had. I love the fact it does decide scans with the armor to make sure the devices are safe. I have never had a router that also allows me to have guest wifi instead of giving them my personal one. Also, the set up was SO MUCH EASIER than any router I have ever had. This new router is completely awesome. It is three times faster than our previous router. It uploads and downloads in seconds literally not minutes like it was before. With the new 5G smartphone I'm able to get on the internet within less than a second. I tapped the Google symbol on my phone and I'm online. It's that fast with the previous router I tapped the Google symbol on my phone and usually within 30 seconds to a minute I'm online. If I got off the Wi-Fi using my phone I'd be on it and lightning speed. I am extremely happy that we spent the extra money to get this router because it is the best investment

Upgraded because our modem/router combo was getting old and thought that was the cause of our connectivity issues. It ended up being a Comcast issue, and once they resolved it our speeds went through the roof. We could have returned the new modem and router since that wasn't the problem, but it was such a huge upgrade that I can't bring myself to do that.

I've been using Netgear equipment for a long time. My old Netgear router finally quit and that was fine. I replaced it with a AX4 and was instantly challenged with lack of connectivity issues. I had to stop windows firewall in order to connect. Then the connection was spotty and required me to stop and restart all browsers and my windows 10 computer many times. I had to call customer service and have them tell my how to shut off their 'Nighthawk' app as it was blocking most of my connections. A great example of a company trying to do way too much under the guise of 'saving me' from the internet. I told the Indian customer service guy ' I don't need Netgear to protect me from the internet, I'm quite capable of protecting myself! I bought this router for one reason: rout my wireless, Thats all!
I won't buy another Netgear product! Their current product line is trash!

I really like the router had to upgrade my old one seems way better. Only problem I can’t get prenatal control or armor to activate. Other than that Great!!

This is our second Netgear WiFi router. Our old one was just too old and slow to keep up with our teenage daughter. Noticed a download speed increase immediately. Went from 8Mbs to 89Mbs. Set-up via the app was easy. We were up and running in less than an hour. Was pleasantly surprised about having a WiFi guest connection. That will come in handy when our daughter has friends over. Overall, I'm very satisfied. Not much you can say. It does exactly what it's supposed to do.

I live out in the country but am lucky enough to have what I thought was “decent” internet(also only provider available And used The router that came with my plan for a while and was okay with it. It wasn’t great but not terrible. After talking to my brother, who’s a big tech guy, he suggested getting the net gear router so I did! I have been blown away with how much better and faster my speeds are, and all of the security features. Best purchase I’ve made in a long time!

The Netgear AX1800 was easy to install and setup due to the seamless iPhone app. This replaced an older Netgear 2.4 GHz router and the difference was amazing. This now give me 2.4G as well as 5G with complete coverage of an 1750 sq. ft. house. More reliable coverage for the TV and cell phones. There are no drop outs of signal and I am running both laptops and TV as well as security cameras. Excellent!!!!

I got this Router and the Modem at Bestbuy because our old modem wasn’t doing the job, at all. I work from home and we also love to play COD Zombies, and had no luck getting to play it because of the WiFi. I figured maybe it was the actual WiFi and not the modem, but one day I called in and they said I had full bars of WiFi so it had to be the modem. As soon as they told me that I bought the best Netgear modem and router I could find, because the BestBuy employee recommended it to me. Great choice, have had no issues and it’s been the fastest WiFi I’ve ever had!

I have been an automation control engineer for 23 years. My home has 46 IP devices and we stream all our digital content. A good router is a must and so far this one has been. Very easy to configure even though the app didn’t allow for everything I needed to do. I have an AP downstairs since the house is 2 story and I need to cover >3000 square feet. This router is replacing an old Netgear device and I hope it performs for as long.

It sped up my speeds
I was using an old (ancient in computer terms router. All of a sudden my speed slowed to a crawl, pictures would not load, and I was not a happy camper. I got the NetGear Nighthawk and now everything is working smoothly again. The NetGear Nighthawk put a smile on my face once again.

I upgraded from another router because it didn’t have a toggle for QoS but this one works so much better than expected. I don’t have a use for it, but the VPN capabilities are great for out of house use as well as even just for a VPN for the in-house use. It’s great!

I had initially purchased a new Wi-Fi 6 router from another company (not to name names, but the letters TP come to mind) and spent a week of headaches, connectivity issues, and inconsistent speeds across multiple devices. Finally, after resisting the urge to smash the thing, I returned it and opted for Netgear instead. Brought the Nighthawk home, hooked it up, and it just works. Bought this router to get internet/wifi at my house. Plugged it in, downloaded the app. Literally had it going in about 10 minutes. Super easy to setup and get working which was great since I had never done this before. Using it to stream movies on two tvs in my home and have had no issues.

Provides Wi-Fi to my whole apartment which is nice and was very easy to set up. However, in order to get my MacBook to work with it, I had to mess around with my proxy settings which was weird because I’ve never had to do that for a Wi-Fi network before.

The router does everything it's supposed to do. I'm happy with it. I am not fond of the Nighthawk app. Every time I open the app, it goes into setup mode. If I try to back out, it disconnects the router from the internet, and I have to go through the setup process all over.

The Netgear AX1800 was easy to install and setup due to the seamless iPhone app. This replaced an older Netgear 2.4 GHz router and the difference was amazing. This now give me 2.4G as well as 5G with complete coverage of an 1750 sq. ft. house. More reliable coverage for the TV and cell phones. There are no drop outs of signal and I am running both laptops and TV as well as security cameras. Excellent!!!!

I had been using a NETGEAR 70 for ever it seems. It just didn’t have enough signal strength to aid in streaming TV throughout my home. I thought buying a mesh expander would help, but the firmware on the 70 was outdated/non-compatible. Purchasing the WiFi 6 was a great investment! Coupled with the mesh expander, my home is streaming super fast. It’s never too late to upgrade. Thanks NETGEAR for such great products!!

I recently bought this router to replace my Verizon router so I wouldn’t have to pay the router rental monthly fee that Verizon charged me. I have to say I was a little skeptical when I bought it but once I had it set up it was smooth sailings from there. It’s very easy to set up the app also helps you keep trace of what website your kids have been visiting and also protects you when your on the internet for malware and also spam which is a HUGH plus for me. In all I have to say it is a great product its even better then the Verizon router I replaced it with I am thoroughly happy with my purchase. I will definitely suggest friends and family to buy if ever asked about what router to buy or who to buy it from.

It was difficult to set up. I am used to plug and go items but this needed additonal information entered and not being an IT person it was frustrating. The router is working really well now that it is set up correctly though.

Haven’t bought a router in 12 years. Oddly enough it’s as old as my relationship with my wife. It was time to update my net gear and I did. Instantly noticed a difference in speed and range though I spent a whopping amount then. This one was more reasonable.

Can’t reset password after the router went back to old one. Support guy was nice but his help required me to buy a plan. I can buy a new router cheaper. When I do it will not be Netgear
I can’t waste money on support that won’t be provided unless one pays for it.

For three months, beginning on April 4,2023, when I purchased a new HP OfficeJet Pro 8030e printer, every time a job was completed, the printer would go offline, not to be reconnected until techs from hp took remote control, uninstalled and reinstalled printer, to make Spectrum Router Model SAX1V1S think there was a new printer added. Good router with excellent range but had serious difficulty attaching peripherals (printers, Ring doorbell). Initial customer service complicated by multiple disconnects when upped to higher support. Finally received the help needed via support tech "Alya" who persisted despite disconnects. From her help I also learned about alternate ways to connect devices to the router. Obtaining help was a bit challenging and time consuming. Also note that downloading Nighthawk from the App Store was accompanied by multiple outside websites trying to sell non-Net Gear service. Otherwise, the router is working fine now.

My old router was a Belkin and it did great for a long time but it was 10 years old and this is an upgrade. The Netgear has allowed us to stream on a Roku TV and still let others be on their devices. If I had a good internet provider (not Viasat I think that the product would be a 5 instead of a 4 on performance. I also like being able to control router from my phone

So I sought out originally to upgrade the internet. After ditching my crappy service for a fiber connection, I knew I would have to purchase a router. So long story short, I asked the guy who came to set up the internet what router he recommended. In an instant he said the name of this router. I asked if he could look it up for me and he obliged. I bought it right then and there. So it arrived in two days time and it was EXTREMELY simple to set up with the Nighthawk app. About 15 minutes later I was done with setup and good to go. I purchased this product at Best buy after doing some research. The set up was easy. It was a matter everything was plugged in properly and that the steps were followed. Most of the work is done by the Netgear nighthawk mobile app. The speed is very good. In one area of my house there was seventy percent increase in download speed. The WiFi signal in my house is much more stable and secured. Setting up guest networks was also easy. The nighthawk app makes managing your home network simple. I highly recommend this product.

The router was super easy to set-up, with the nighthawk app. It takes you through, step-by-step, until it’s connected. The speed was great. Allows for 20 devices. I also have the capability to disconnect devices from my phone or set parental controls. I’m not the most “tech savvy” person in the world, but with the app, it’s easy.

Had older Netgear that failed after a short time. Was not happy about the old failing so soon. I bought a new AX4. It was not easy to get up and running. Had to contact support. They were great but I have to say that it was hard to get setup. Even with their help. Unit works great but did not care for them wanting to upsell me security.

Difficult setup
Nighthawk application used for installation never completed and several WiFi devices would not connect. Had to reload the app and run it several times before completion messages appeared plus a needed firmware update was installed. After that all devices connected and worked correctly.

So I have the 16x4 router from Spectrum but wanted a decent router. I ended up getting this one and I get 450 Mbps vs the capped amount of 400 Mbps from spectrum. I definitely recommend.

Awesome budget router, but with a few flaws.
This router is perfect for an entry level WiFi 6 device. Plenty of features, a fairly usable app. Lots of potential. But, unfortunately SmartConnect does not work with any devices that use 2.4ghz only. Also, there is no option for a WPA3 transition mode. If you are like me and enjoy using the latest and greatest on a budget, be prepared to go through a few workarounds with this. Otherwise it is an excellent machine.

New wifi router works!
I bought this router to replace a Netgear modem/router that is about 3.5 years old. The old router was losing signal strength- I think it was just starting to go out. I am not techy so I bought this one thinking it was similar, but upon installation I realized I needed an additional modem to go with this router. I purchased the Netflix CM700 modem to use with my new router. Set up took a while- again, I'm not techy so I wasn't sure what to do, but I eventually figured everything out. The signal strength is much better now, and I don't have to rent equipment from a greedy cable company! :

Plug-n-play great coverage.
Easy to set up using the app. Much better coverage then the last router. House has plaster and lathe walls that other routers have struggled with. It’s a no brainer get one and get back to work.

I actually had recently bought the 1850 model and it was working very poorly so I picked up this one and surprisingly even in the basement it has good signal but more importantly it’s sending 7-900mbps across the house so I'm pretty happy with it

Set up with Nighthawk is easy. Correcting any mistake made during set up with your account is a time consuming activity. Netgear support is seriously inadequate. Also this router lacks WPA3. It is an improvement for an older router and will greatly improve WiFi speed.

Router works great it’s 471 mbps download Speed! 23 for upload. And that’s the basic internet package from my isp. I also had to call because I couldn’t get it to work and they were super helpful and I didn’t have to wait long to talk to someone. It turned out it was my modem nothing to do with the router.

I recently switched from having a router/modem combo to having them separate because I've heard that's the better way to go and I needed an upgrade anyway. Setup was easy with the app and it's compatible with Xfinity so I didn't need to talk to my cable company support. I was up in a few minutes and I'm maxing out on my speed allotment which I wasn't before so it works great!

The setup was easy and quick. There were no problems with Spectrum as ISP. Overall install was maybe 15 minutes, with double checking everything. Also, I wasn't sure if the coverage range was going to be enough for the square ft of the house, at least the living area. Operational interference
I'm sick of the demand that 5G cannot be disabled. Ceriously considering finding an older router that allows 5G to be disabled. I bought this router for greater coverage area, not for speed. So disappointed.

Installation was a struggle
Nighthawk app did not finish install. Tried several time but would not finish installation. I installed using the browser and was able to set up after several tries. The nighthawk and the browser install requires the install of the trial Netgear A/V software. THIS IS NOT ACCEPTABLE to FORCE a customer to a potential subscription ware and not post it anywhere on the outside package. I do not want a subscription. It this trail ware is not able to be uninstalled I will return the router. Also the set up FORCES you to do an update to the FIRMWARE before you can finish set up. NOT ACCEPTABLE.

Electrical storm knocked out my old router.. it took until 5pm on a Sunday to figure it out. Ran to best buy and bought this one...itvwas a good price for a wifi6. I don't know much about these things. I plugged it in and followed the instructions...plus I saw this message..if you rename the new router with the old routers name and password you did not have to reset all the tvs computers etc!!!! What a smart router! It works perfectly..that is all I ask!

As a college student moving into an apartment for the first time, I was really impressed with how easy it was to set up and how well I can get a signal throughout my unit. The notifications on the app are a bit much, especially since I do not need parental controls or to know when my roommates connected, but overall it is a reliable router.

Not the easiest router that I’ve ever set up. Directions are a bit lacking. And the continuous flashing lights are a terrible distraction. And getting to the correct screen to disable them, impossible for most. I ended up cover mine up.

Quick and easy set up
Hardest part about this router is taking it out of the box. Instructions are easy to follow. This router probably would have gotten a higher rating except it is part of the Netgear family, which I had a hard time trying to install the previous router (model R6400). The other router also caused problems with my streaming services. The AD 1800 router was a dream to install.

Fantastic router
This router fits well in our smart panel and we have wifi signal all throughout our house without using an extender. The installation process was easy as well and fairly straightforward. Great price for the value.

So glad I bought it!
I use Optimum for my internet service and got tired of their modem. And the $10 per month rental fee. The RAX10 is faster, looks great and so far no issues.

Easy to set up.
I just got it and so far it has been easy to set up. It gives you the option to keep your same router password if you want. I just hope it last longer than my last one from the same company.

Very solid and fast
After five years with my old router, I needed to upgrade because of constant drop offs. I purchased the AX1800 and it’s speed and connectivity surpasses my old router. Now I can work, do web meetings and even play games much better than I could before.

A decent midrange router with WiFi 6.
All in all not a bad router. Its major weakness is lacking VPN support for many major vendors. All in all most features are comparable to other routers in this price range, although Netgear is attempting to push security software through their device with a subscription cost.

AX1800 WiFi 6 Router
directions just plain wrong. Being tech savvy I worked around them. After I was done your software worked great. Love all the devices security and I can see what devices are connected from my phone and control the router settings. Speed was what I was after and I went from 90mbs download to over 700mbs using 1g modem from my internet provider. Awesome upgrade. I can see why so many complaints and returns, your help screen repeats the same not workable steps. Hire a tech writer who knows steps needed. Therefore a 4 star instead of 5

I had a Linsey’s router before and my cat puked on it. So I went and looked at reviews on this model. I have a 2200 sq ft house and it works great. We do a lot of streaming and gaming. Best choice ever

This has helped me immensely, it tells me when it has blocked a threat on my computer or even my phone, it gives me reliable speed tests, it's even boosted my internet speed 5 fold, I went form 11mb download speed all the way to 65.4mb and it's just been great for my household, no more lagging on games, built in protection from threats, sleek design that's easy on the eyes. You cannot go wrong with this router!

Simple setup...almost
This router is excellent in function and provides a great high speed connection, but the setup app is lacking. While it works for the most basic setup, it is difficult to set up the router to use a static IP with port routing using the app. It becomes necessary to use the web interface by entering 192.168.1.1 into a browser and logging in that way.

Adequate but instructions lacking
The unit itself is very sensitive to location. The on-line instructions were somewhat confusing for a non-tech type person. Also support on the phone was tough with overseas language accents difficult to understand. How about some state side personnel to help on support issues?

I bought this wifi router due to all the great reviews I saw it had on how fast the internet speed was how easy it was to set up and I needed a good router for my CSR job at home. Comes with an app that has alot of nice feedback on your router and devices connected to it as well.
