Rated 5 out of 5 by from ISSUES WITH DEGRADED SPEED Unfortunately, I had the same experience. The little red light came on at the bottom & have been getting a sluggish response from the PL1000. 27MB on a 400 MB network is a sad performance. I bought 4 thinking I would save on some cabling expenses. Touché

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Completely useless after a month I bought this 2 months ago and it worked fine for the first month. Then suddenly I started having a terrible internet connection For just my computer that was using this. I check the powerline 1000 to make sure that it is installed correctly and it indeed is, but the pick a plug light is red. I try all the ways to fix it and it doesn’t help until I plug it in to the other outlet in my room. This works fine for about a week and then neither outlet works in my room with the powerline. Now I need to buy an extended Ethernet cable to run through my house which is what I wanted to avoid by purchasing this in the first place.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not a fan I brought 2 packs (4units) of these a few days ago. Firstly, the units are huge, you are supposed to plug it directly into the socket, so no power strip or extension cord; the problem is that you cannot fit another plug into the second socket next to it (when you have a double power point), meaning you cannot power your modem or computer etc. to use it. Secondly, they dont work if you have multiple power circuits in your home. so if your modem/router is on one circuit, and your computer is located on a different power circuit, it won't work. Because of this, we could only get 2 of the powerlines to work and couldnt figure out why after an hour trying to get it connected. it would be super helpful if any of these points were specified when selling/advertising these products. we returned them and have decided to run ethernet cables through the walls.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Product, has been reliable 3+ years I have been using the powerline product for more than three years, same equipment, no issues. If I have an issue with the units, I unplug them, wait 10 seconds, plug them back in and, Voila, back on-line. I can't say that it has been 100% trouble free, but very close, maybe 98% of the time no issues, the other 2%, can't say. My throughput is at least as good as either wireless or wired. Full disclose, upgrading my router did make a difference. I upgraded to a business class router, never going back to home router if at all possible.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I have green lights on both end but slow internet My modem/router is pushing 600mbps to all my devices except to this powerline. I have green lights across both ends, but when i do a speed test i'm only getting 45mbps. My wifes office is a dead zone with Wifi. This device did not help at all. is there something i'm doing wrong?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Long Lasting I've been using my powerline for quite a few years now and it still functions properly, despite the speeds fluctuating from time to time. Overall satisfied with the product.
