Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exactly what was needed I recently purchased a 6,000 square foot house. Purchased an Orbi Mesh WiFi 6 system at Costco, which worked perfectly except for a small coverage gap in the apartment over the garage, which was a good distance (and one floor up) from the base station. This satellite took care of that problem, giving me strong coverage everywhere. Installation went smoothly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Now I can connect my car Now I can connect my Tesla, my ring doorbell, and my nest thermostat to the Orby router. Thanks for making me feel part of the modern age.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The product does not mesh from one satellite to the next. Unintuitive interface I have a two level environment. 4 satellites. All satellites insist on communicating only with the router despite clear line of sight and only a few feet from each other. App interface gives zero power to manage satellite relationship meshing, and is surprisingly awkward to navigate. Given the remarkably high price point, this product should have a much higher level of maneuverability in its app control, and predictability. The support during the warranty period should be able to effectuate success at making the product do what it claims it can achieve. For us, it was a total --- expensive (!) --- failure. The most distant satellite keeps blinking in and out of communication with the router, despite being a mere 15 feet from a sister satellite. Totally absurd. Why do people buy this product?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from No customer support even for products less than a year old or 3 mos old 8 months old now and failing. Netgear support is USELESS. Having sudden 2 weeks of connection issues between my 3 month old Netgear CM 3000. Called for support on both and got nothing. I was the one who had to figure out looking at event logs. I was the one asking about channels and did they need to be changed. Got ABSOLUTELY NO DIRECTION from Netgear except they wanted me to extend service contract on this router that is less than a year old, and weren't helping with the product in warranty either. Unless you buy a Best Buy or other service contract to bypass these yahoos you are on your own and this is a gigantic waste of money. Set up software is not good either. FYI... and just to save us all hearing about troubleshooting one more time.... I cycled everything multiple times, I even did factory reset more than once on both devices, have had 2 visits from ISP who says nothing is wrong, all ethernet cables are brand new Cat 6a, coax cable is brand new, updates are current on both devices. The response from netgear was talk a long hike...
