Rated 5 out of 5 by from CM3000 Cable Modem The cable modem installed easily and was provisioned by my cable provider (Cox) with no issues and clean diagnostics. Download and upload speeds were increased to the max of my Internet service plan (I pay for 500 max download and was getting close to 600 with the CM3000). This replaces a very old Arris SB6183 DOCSIS 3.0 modem. The only issue I had was the admin password for the device UI stopped working (no idea why), but following a call to Netgear tech support I was able to correct this with a hard reset. The modem has been installed and operating with zero problems for six days now. Excellent product in my opinion.

Can't tell much about this unit's upstream capabilities, due to Xfinity's local constraints. The modem is solid and well-designed, with a guide on the underside explaining the status lights, along with default login information. I haven't see it get hot during its few weeks of service so far. Good documentation and support site as well.

It gave me such great logs that I was able to tell him exactly the problem with the cable signal (loss in their equipment, not mine), so now we're getting a new cable from the house to the box.

Recently, I purchased a combo router/modem and encountered a ton of issues. On a whim, I decided to splurge and get the this bad boy and I’m thrilled with the results! I’ve never experienced speeds like these in my house. We have numerous home automation devices, and this device effortlessly handles them all, with some extra power. I highly recommend this product to anyone seeking to enhance their home networking capabilities.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from GREAT GREAT MODEM The Cm3000 is really a good Modern, fast and you don't have the drop offs in service as where you had with the Cm2050V. One of the biggest things I've also noticed is with the speed and processing of the videos with my Smart TV, it's much faster than the CM2050V. This is a big plus because if you have a Smart Tv, you know how slow sometimes the videos can be to show. I really don't have those lag issues any longer. Very happy with this Modern and I am sure that you will be too!! This is an absolute recommend!!

Since I don’t have a multi-gig connection I am not using all capabilities of the device, but I am now future proofed, which is why I bought this modem. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Blazing Speed I had a Cox modem/router which was supposedly their best. Always had problems with speed, connections dropping etc. Purchased my Nighthawk cable modem and Orbi. HOLY CRUD! Blazing speeds both WiFi and Hard wire! So simple to set up and use! I would recommend getting some high end Ethernet cables to keep up with the speed etc. Man I wish I had done this sooner!

Under the same ISP service, the new CM3000 speed tested roughly the same, but with 32 x 8, I noticeably observed improved response times across my home network. Hope it lasts and remains Spectrum ISP compatible and reliable for many years to come.

Previously with my old SB8200 modem I would hit roughly 1100-120 Mbps at most for download and 42 Mbps upload. Finally get to take advantage of that upgraded upload speed!

I had a service call after the upgrade to maximize my signal and they did some things. This house is from 1962 and coxial cable is not new. Currently getting a good signal. I can tell I'm in range on the modem's webpage.

We have an older home so needed a strong system that can cover a multilevel house with the signal. The was a great option for us as we both work from home on different levels of the house.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesomeness At It's Finest I recently bought this modem to replace my Arris S33 that I didn't even have a year before it went down on me. Because of this gem, I am actually glad it did, because this modem is so many light years ahead. And not only does it perform with greatness.... it also look very elegant. Not long after having this unit in service (a few short days), I went on another mission to complete the Nighthawk lineup. And this is what led me to the RS 700S WiFi 7 router. Love the designs of both units. The RS 700S is quite pricey, but I will add that it earned its stripes and therefore have every single right to be pricey. Give yourself a round of a pause Netgear because you have out done yourself on both these devices. And with that said I will say that this is the very reason why I don't believe in modems that already have the router built inside. These things were made to be matched up, and there's no better match than the CM3000 and the RS 700S also known as the BE 19000. The only thing missing.... Netgear should have made these units where the word "Nighthawk" lights up. This is my only grip with these units.

It’s great if you pair this with a nighthawk router and take it out of well put it in bridge mode. You’ll be much more reluctant to keep the equipment if you use the internal router on this piece of equipment, it does feel a bit slow.

Netgear support is probably the best I have dealt with.if you’re playing for hi speed internet buy the best equipment CM3000 is the best.

I paired this router with TP-Link AX3000 WiFi 6 Router (Archer AX55 Pro) and they work great together. I’m only paying for about 500mbps download annd 50mbps upload internet, but reliably getting about 750mbps with an upload speed around 100mbps. The router runs quiet with its internal fan.

No issues to report and the internet speed is exactly what I am paying for from xfinity. Internally I am using 2.5GB switches and 2.5 GB on most of my equipment so transfers internal are also excellent.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Upgraded My Speed and Brought Tremendous Reliability Immediately I was paying a monthly fee for Xfinity's top modem, but when I upgraded to the CM3000 I immediately recorded records speeds, the nightly reset/update of my modem from xfinity also stopped occurring, which always seemed to happen in the midst of great productivity or a great gaming moment, I'm thankful those are a thing of the past. This product was easy to setup and even easier to maintain using Xfinity's Application or the web interface.

Using the Xfinity app on my phone made setup a breeze. I couldn't believe how easy it was. This new modem tripled my internet speed! Buying this modem rather than paying a monthly rental fee was a no brainer. I use this with my self installed mesh router. Great product from a reliable manufacturer. Highly recommend this.

I recently cut the cable and opted to update my equipment to ensure fast, reliable speeds for streaming. Along with this modem I also purchased a new mesh 3-router system. My setup also includes a switch. I purchased CAT8 cables. The modem is located near the front of a 1,340sf single floor house. I gave priority to careful positioning of all devices in order to get the best speed. After setup I ran speed tests and various PC’s (wired and wireless) and got fast upload/downloads in line with the Xfinity gigabit x2 plan. An FYI to all though - the QoS got enabled on the router system which in turn throttled my speed much lower. The modem was blamed for the speed issues. Netgear support was phenomenal at diagnosing and determining the modem was working as should. Speed tests were over 2,000mb. 2nd call to router support where I discovered the QoS matter. Once disabled, my speeds were back to blazing fast. No drops. No issues. We’re good!

After the initial run around of Comcast not provisioning the modem correctly, it seems like the CM3000 saturates my older RT-AX68U router up to mid 900Mbps download speed and up to 350Mbps upload on the Comcast upgraded plan. These speeds aren't consistent which is almost certainly on Comcast. Great modem if you have a gigabit or higher plan.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good out of the box I'm using the Deco BE10000 (3x BE63s), working with Cox the key is having them get the info for the modem before connecting, once they say your modem is connected on there end have them do a reset before you connect and power on the BE63 that is being used for a router. Once they do your reset to modem and all is solid white, disconnect all cables to your router except the one to your modem and connect power cable to the BE63. Wait for the amber light to go green, will take about 3 minutes. Once your green reconnect the cables you had connected back to the BE63 and wait another five minutes for all your devices to come back online. I have 143 so it took about ten minutes for my long distance AP and devices to all connect and be online with no reboot needed. That has been the best about the DECO 10000 is it heals after a Cox outage really nice.

My speed test were running 675/22 Mbps average with Xfinity gig speed service and now 923/24 Mbps. My internet TV apps load faster and system wifi items reconnection time after power interrupts has improved. I am happy and satisfied. I recommend.

My ISP is still making adjustments to their network daily, and this modem is very tolerant of their work that will often take power levels down to -25 dBmV for brief time periods. The user interface is superior to my previous modem as well that was made by a different manufacturer. Additionally, the processing seems to be really good. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Supports all of our devices at high speeds This thing is FAST! We were having issues with our old Motorola modem/router combo since it was no longer compatible with Xfinity. My partner and I both work from home so network reliability is huge for us. I haven't dropped a call or lost audio in a Zoom call since we set this up. Pricey, but hopefully we won't need to upgrade for a very long time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from CM3000 performance with Xfinity 2G Plan Upgraded my Xfinity internet service recently from 1G/40Mbps to a 2G/300Mbps plan, so I replaced my reliable 4-year-old CM1100 modem with the latest 2.5Gbps modem, CM3000 model. Activation took a bit longer due to the Xfinity provisioning process, but once set up, the CM3000 performed as expected. Testing with the Nighthawk Mobile App shows consistent speeds of 1.8-2.3Gbps download and over 340Mbps upload between the ISP and the CM3000. Now, I’m just left wondering what to do with the still-functional CM1100, which is perfect for a 1G plan.

It has great speed and the price was a little bit high it was well worth it. This my first modem purchase it will not be my last. When I need a replacement for my router I will check out Netgear. I have used Netgear switches before and like them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Grate modem for all types of users I have Comcast internet and wanted to go away from using there equipment but once I got it my speeds where so fast I had to upgrade my plan to the unlimited package, which comes with the free gateway so not only did my Internet usage go way up. I found myself constantly playing with the settings. It was fun and all, but it ended my time so I had to return it due to it not really suiting my needs.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So far, so good for increased upload speeds with xfinity Unfortunately I was made to upgrade by Xfinity to a new modem even though I had a perfectly fine docsis 3.1 modem not even 3 years old, to access the newly available "next gen" upload speeds. I began searching for a unit that was not some sort of atrocious combination modem/router/ap and came across this. Set up through Xfinity was painless and this modem is running like a champ for a few weeks now. I now have 6x the upload speed as I had before, which is quite nice. Would recommend to anyone in need of a modem certified for mid/high split, "next gen" speed, or whatever terminology your ISP chooses

I’m now able to take advantage of the 2Gbs speed of my Internet Service Provider (ISP). Pages just snap into place in my web browser, and download times have been cut in two. Installation was a piece of cake. I simply took out my old modem, plugged in power to the new modem, connected the coax cable, and called my ISP to provision the new modem. Boom! Double speeds. Pair this beauty with an Orbi mesh router, and you’ve got a fast network for both internet traffic and point to point communication within your home with excellent coverage and control.

(Xfinity) This modem have me the single biggest thing I wanted: faster uploads for the same monthly price. But be sure your cable provider has increased upload speeds in your neighborhood or you may gain nothing by buying this.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Powerful modem for up to 2.5 Gbps download speed I have purchased Netgear CM3000 just about a couple of weeks ago after much research. I had a few concerns about the modem's compatibility with Comcast network in our area and several issues reported by other users w/r to the modem's reliability and stability. So far, I'm fairly satisfied. 1) Purchase, delivery, unpacking - can't be happier, no issues to report. 2) Initial set-up - no real issues. There was an issue after I did the self-installation - I noticed that the upload speed was low (the main reason I purchase the modem was to improve the upload speed). I called Comcast tech. support, asked them to re-provision the modem with a CORRECT boot file, and in fife minutes my upload speed was ~7 times higher. 3) the modem has been up and running for a couple of week with no hiccups that I could report. I will be examining the logs and watching the modem performance. If anything goes wrong, I will come back to this review and update the rating - but so far everything looks good and I'm searching for a new router.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from CM3000 brings compatibility with XFinity Gigabit X2 (2000/200) After frustration with the CM2000 not being compatible with XFinity Gigabit X2, the CM3000 brings the speed. I am able to take advantage of XFinity 10G Gigabit X2 service (2000/200) service with Speedttest testing on my router routinely pulling 2300Mbps download and 250Mbps upload. I do think it is frustrating that the CM2000 was marketed as a DOCSIS 3.1 future proof modem and that I needed to change to another Netgear DOCSIS 3.1 future-proof modem since the CM2000 proved not future-proof at all just 2-years after buying. That is a raw deal for customers.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from CM3000 Easy setup with Xfinity. Performs well. Xfinity recently did an upgrade on our internet connection. Our old modem did not fully support the upgrade. We purchased the next generation CM3000 to "future-proof" our connection to Xfinity. After a fifteen minute setup we immediately measured an upstream change from 5 Mbps to 120 Mbps. Our downstream change we measured being from 190 Mbps to 330 Mbps. Both measurements were made via ethernet connection to our router. It seems that the CM3000 is doing it's job appropriately. The weak link in our setup is the 6 year old router which is connected to the modem via a 1Gbps ethernet port and cat 6a cable. We were hoping to see 600 to 800 Mbps downstream speeds. It would be great if the modem firmware supported a rudimentary speed test so that it's performance could be more easily validated. Interesting data is available via the modem's web interface, but we don't understand what all the numbers mean.

So far I am happy with the performance of the.modem. But I did have to also get a faster WiFi adapter for my computer.
