Redesign the clamping mount; not long enough to maintain stable attachment to vent, weight to heavy causes all vents in 7 different cars to either cause phone to fall off or not allow phone to attach due to angle when on vent… nice concept but likely to cause problems while driving when phone falls off under feet

Meh. Was expecting higher quality on this product. The magnets are strong so it tends to pull the grips off my vent upon phone's removal — despite a snug vent blade fit. My phone's angle is flimsy since it moves easily with the vent blade (up/down) making it hard to see my screen with polarized sunglasses. My earlier model Zagg vent mount (non-snap) had a much larger cradle but held the phone more securely so it didn't flop down.

The fact that it comes with a car charger and whatnot is good but I would have preferred to just buy that separately if I'd know the quality of this. I wanted to return it but I waited a few days to open the box when I got it I found it said you only had two days to ship it back, which seems real sketchy.
I'm not happy with my new screen protector from Zagg either which is a bummer because I've always used them and had solid luck but—my (expensive) mistake for buying things on sale I guess.

I followed the directions and was so excited to use it. It worked at first, but the holder wouldn’t kept dropping down when I put the phone on it. I took it out of my car because the direction said not to leave it in a hot place. When I used it again the holder was broken. I don’t know how it happened. I put it back in the box it came in. I’m going to call them tomorrow. I can’t believe the holder broke after the first use.

Excellent magnetic car charger
These work well and charge the phones at a rate of 2.0a/5w. I own four of them now. One is used for rental cars (I travel a lot) and another in a heavy duty delivery box truck. In the vehicles with the worst suspension, deep ruts or bumps in the pavement will cause the phone to fall off and onto the driver or console, but in my Land Rover with an air suspension, falling never happens.
Our family has the iPhone 12 Pro Max model only, all in the Apple MagSafe clear case. These iPhones work best with the Apple MagSafe case, as the “doubling up” of magnets in the phone body and case helps the car chargers grip the phone harder as there is more magnetic ferrous material for the magnetics in the charger to attract.
Without that clear Apple MagSafe case, the phone would fall more often in the rough-riding vehicles. If your vehicle has an air suspension or cushy ride, these work great, especially when paired with a MagSafe case; but if your vehicle is a bone rattler, expect falls when you hit the worst construction bumps and potholes—especially if you don’t have your phone in a MagSafe case or used with the provided magnetic rings the chargers come with. The snap+ wireless vent mounts are not perfect, but they are good enough for my purposes.

The clip wouldn't stay on the vent and the magnet simply isn't strong enough to hold either of our phones - iPhone 13 max with or without a magsafe case, Pixel Pro 7. The only reason I didn't bother returning it is it's at least handy for a quick wireless charge pad that we can keep in the living room.

Best yet for iPhone hands-free
Love it. Would give it five stars, but it pulls off the vent louvres too easily due to a good strong magnet. Takes some getting used to, so as to not detach the entire unit, when removing my iPhone. Seems engineering anticipated the difference in vent sizes, as there are two different-sized attachments built-into the mount’s vent grip. But I guess my Jeep Cherokee must have really skinny louvers, as the smallest part of the grip still slips off the vent occasionally. If I remove the phone at an angle, rather than just pulling it forward, it stays in place, and now I unconsciously push the mount down onto the vent regularly. Otherwise it’s a good product for the price point. Much better than bulky stick-on dashstand mounts. Overall I’m happy I bought this product and would definitely recommend to others.

Disappointing
The charger does not work to charge my phone. It does however fit, but no charge. The mount does not stay in place but the ring does stick to the mount properly. Oddly, my battery died in my car shortly after my use first use. I have an iPhone 12 Pro. I lost my receipt so I don’t have my order number to return. I have it positioned near my radio sometimes it stays most time it unclips. I use my car charger and the magnetic to stay mounted. I would not recommend this purchase. It’s not worth the money!!

Works as well as any vent mount. That is to say it's a little tempermental at times. Works it's way loose and frequently needs to be reseated to assure it doesn't fall off. Charging system Works well and is reasonably fast.

Poor design
Conceptually, the accessory is functional but has severe limitations. Within 2 days of use on my Highlander sports, it broke the vent clip on which it was mounted due to weight of the phone (iPhone 12 pro max). The vent tilts down after attaching. This will block your vent and there will be no air flow. The magnetic ring provided in the box came off the phone on a single use and rendered it useless.
If you have a MagSafe case, then it holds well while driving the car.
The charging cable is USB-c type, which forces you to use the provided cigarette lighter charger. A regular USB cable should have been an option as most of cars don’t have USB C port. Charging is very slow.
For the high cost of the product, I have many other options available, which gives me similar option, functionality at much lower cost.

Love the magnetic charger, it charges so fast! However, the adhesive on the magnet adapter does not stick very well to my phone. It often comes right off when I pull my phone off the charger. There must be better, more permanent adhesive available.

Only have used this in my VW Convertible Bug for a few weeks and so far it's a solid vehicle phone charger. I do like that the phone does have great magnetic feature that when I hit a pothole, my phone doesn't go flying across the car when I make a turn. Not sure the charging speed yet. Feel pretty confident it will last a while.

Replacement for my old device
I purchased this car vent to replace my old one that stopped working. It works as expected but the magnet is not as strong as the old one. Additionally, the car vent clip is does not rotate making the view angle inconvenient. It this mount could swivel like most other products like this on the market it would be a great product as there are many clip mounts options that are available. Lastly, when I turn the phone on the mount, the charging cable turns the knobs on the A/C which takes my attention form the road.

My first gripe is I ordered this within days of it coming out directly from Mophie back on 24 Jun and got it yesterday. 35 days to get something? I'll be purchasing through a retailer next time. That said, it is a nice minimalist charger. It clipped in well to the center vents of my Lexus CT200h, the black cable is a nice touch since it blends well with the interior, and the charger is of good quality. Now that it is in, I've used it on a couple of trips and it seems to work as advertised. Hasn't fallen once, and overall I like it.

I really love this car phone charger. I haven’t tried it with a MagSafe case yet. However, the phone will randomly fall off charger sometimes if it’s not properly placed on the charger. Also, it is a little difficult to clip the charger to the car vent because there isn’t enough space for your fingers to push the buttons when trying to attach the charger to the vent.

My phone kept falling off (and usually hitting my knees or falling on my driver's side floor mat) whenever I drove over a larger than average bump. I kept trying to place it on different places on my vent - top, middle, right, left but never found the spot that would keep the phone from randomly flying off when I drove. Just never felt that it had a strong magnetic connection.

Works as purchased however the ring on back of phone is uncomfortable while holding phone. The base charger is not heavy enough to remove with one hand. The base needs to be held down. The car charger holder has a tendency to pull away from the air vent when trying to remove phone. Concept is good but is below my expectations.

Unless there is some locking mechanism I'm unaware of, my phone mounts and charges just fine, but as the car moves and turns the charger rotates and my phone flips upside down and frequently needs readjustment. It is a bit top-heavy because its a Flip4 that mounts from the bottom, but still it is very easy to spin the charger and it should be able to be fixed

Terrible design and quality.
I had to order a exterior ring to put on the outside of my zagg phone case which I purchased with the snap wireless charger. Supposedly they should work together.
Now with nothing more than placing it on taking it off of the mount in the vent, the mount itself fell apart and is unusable. Way to pricey for such poor quality. Do NOT waste your money.

I’d like you to give me a call. I got my new iPhone 13 max And on the 2nd day after installation my phone and the magnet piece that attaches (not so well) to the vents came crashing to the floor in my car and broke my new screensaver. I think this particular phone may be too heavy for your system. I’m really disappointed as I was excited about the idea but now my brand new phone has scratches and a smashed screen protector

Super Convenient
First off, this whole line of products are super convenient and reliable. I love the ability to get in my car and pop my phone on the magnet mount. It's compact and you don't have to plug in to charge. If you get the single charger for your night stand then I recommend getting a command stip and sticking it to the wall or night stand so it doesn't pick up with your phone. I give this 4 stars because the vent clip is not strong enough and occasionally comes off with my phone. Also, like most other people say, the stick on ring is too sharp. It hasn't cut me as of now but I think it would be an easy fix for the developers to address. I think I may put a small beed of silicone around the edges. It is my opinion that this is the best on the wireless charging market but I do think that it is over priced. If you are considering any of these products then try to find at a discount or when they are on sale.

The Mount Arrived Broken
When I opened the package, the bracket with the magnetic puck was not attached to the vent clip and I could not reattach it. I contacted Zagg to request to return the product for a refund. They provided a prepaid label to return the mount and credited my account once they received the package. I was disappointed with the product but satisfied with the service on the return.

The functionality of this product is very nice; snap the phone in place then it charges the phone.
Pro: very convenient, fast charge, small that doesn't take much space in the dash.
con: the Ring sitting on back of phone is a little weird to see at first. but gradually it gets more normal. if the phone's camera is inside phone not pupping out like iphone or newer samsung phone, they sit well with the popping out / bump cameras.
con2: the clamp is not strong enough that every time I remove the phone from the Ring slowly the mount will get removed from the vent. so from time to time I would need to push it back into the vent. this happens to everything that sits in the vent, i guess.
but, so far I like it.

Useless
Unless you go caseless. I use a Spigen thin case, and, since it is not a MagSafe case, or a case made by Zagg or it’s affiliates, my device will not stay on. Haven’t used it at all.
Plan on returning.

Love it.....but.....
LOVE the design. Love that its Mag Safe. Love that I dont need one of those clunky windshield mounts. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is that my dashboard has a curve leading into the A/C vents and there is no way to extend it far enough to work for my car - which Im super sad about. So for now, I cant use it. Just make sure you have a really flat vent area and you should be good. I can tell I *would love it if my car didnt have curves. (for reference I have a 2013 Prius)

MagSafe charge vent mount
MagSafe works alright for a mount but when it comes to charging my phone. It is too inconsistent. It will start to charge my device then stop at random. I would rather prefer that a vent mount be made to fit the original apple MagSafe charger bc that works every time.

It’s practically a trickle charger at best. The clips barely hold on to the vent. There was a slight heat breeze coming through the vent while I have the feet vent going which heated up the clips enough that when I eje the to remove my phone, the whole mount came with it. The worst charger I’ve ever bought.

At first I thought this would not work with the case on my phone, until I discovered that there was an adhesive circle to put on the outside of my case that magnetizes to the clip mount to hold the phone. Works great.
I don't think you can also have a pop socket on the phone to hold the phone and be able to use this phone as well (unless you place the pop socket toward the bottom of the case and not in the center.

Fits well on vent for vehicle. Periodically need to adjust the placement on the vent as it slowly backs out with use. Not a big deal. Nice that it’s also portable and holds the phone very well.

the worst designed product by Zagg
i have replaced this thing 3 times. it keeps breaking and it will not stay on the vent, as a matter of fact, it keeps falling off why I'm driving, the Joint of the mount keeps getting lose and breaking in 2 pieces. it's a serious design flaw and Zagg just keep sending me a replacement that does the exact same thing.
I'm extremely disappointed. They will not address the issues.

If shopping for a mount for your Iphone 11 Pro Max..
I appreciate that the design of this product. I really wished it work for me but I’m disappointed in the snap+ magnets needed for my iphone 11 pro max to be compatible with this mount. The magnets are really thick and actually don’t work through my phone case (which is thin!) so I would have to be without a case to be compatible with the mount and snap+juice pack.

I am a big fan of Mophie products. They last when others do not. That's why this is a disappointing purchase. It doesn't hold as well as I would like to the vent on my car. Then it doesn't hold my phone sturdy enough to the Qi charger as it needs to. Sometimes when I hit a bump in the road it will knock my phone off the charger. That is not helpful when that knocks it into the passenger's side floorboard. Then I can't use the charger in the wintertime unless I turn the vent off from filtering through my upper vents where it is attached. So that means 1/2-3/4 of the year it's useless. Needs work!

I’ve never been so disappointed with a purchase. I used this mount for 1 week and it broke. I’m gentle with my equipment and I can’t believe how quickly the mount just started flopping around. My phone would fall off and hit my gear shift. Super not happy.
