Microsoft Designer Bluetooth Mouse - mouse - Bluetooth 4.0 is rated 2.5 out of 5 by 2.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good, simple mouse. I have a couple of these that I use with some of my PCs. Mine came in a keyboard/mouse combo. The mouse does exactly what it is designed to do and does it well.Ergonomically, it is OK, but not a standout. The mouse feels like quality and I've had no issues with either of mine.I like using Bluetooth for mice and keyboards, but Bluetooth isn't quite as good as the normal RF versions, with the dongles. I find that the Bluetooth connection can be a little slow to connect on startup and sometimes the connection is not made or not restored after the PC sleeps, rarely, but it does happen. When that occurs, most of the time, just turning the mouse off and back on is enough to reconnect. However, sometimes I have to use the built-in trackpad on my Surface to go to settings and open the Bluetooth settings page in Windows 10. Just accessing the settings page is enough to reconnect the keyboard and mouse in that rare scenario. You don't usually run into issues like that with the RF mice and keyboards, but I use these with my Surface Pro and I prefer the built-in Bluetooth option instead of using an RF dongle.A previous reviewer mentioned problems with the battery compartment; I personally have never had any issues with mine. I actually like the battery compartment design of this mouse, especially the magnetically attached battery cover. My previous mouse had a forward and back button and this one doesn't. That was a little hard to get used to after the switch, but I don't really notice it anymore and this mouse is a much more compact design, which is a nice tradeoff.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Batteries come loose the batteries sit up in the compartment so with just a tap on a hard surface they fall down far enough in the compartment that they disconnect. Nothing holds the batteries in place. There is a gap between the battery cover and the batteries thus allowing the batteries to drop down
