Rated 5 out of 5 by from Would not work with an SD card Couldn't get the frame to work with an SD card. Tried to troubleshoot with customer service but getting through to customer service takes a good 30 minutes. Tried rebooting it tried everything customer service suggested and then it's ceased starting up. Sent it back and got another one which I've yet to set up.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice but... User-friendly. Beautiful picture quality. My only qualm is that it is not capable of integrating directly with a crypto wallet to stream NFTs. I managed to display my NFT collection, but it was not an easy process and the formatting is wonky. Netgear: PLEASE update this product to be compatible with crypto wallets.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Superb Quality The Netgear - Meural Canvas 27" is a show stopper. Photo quality is superb and beautiful that is sure to become a family favorite. Controls accessed on the canvas via a hand motion sequence can be a bit difficult to master at first. However, a slow, steady wave at the middle bottom of the frame seems to work best. I highly recommend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Poor App I LOVE my Meural but app is subpar - can’t add payment method so i can’t purchase art - always glitching forcing me to restart phone - Meural doesn’t react well to the swipes i stand there waving like a lunatic etc but i love having different art and the piece itself just wish app actually worked

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Enjoying my new Meural ... only one fault Our new Meural Canvas ii arrived and has proven to be a beautiful addition to our home. We don't have it mounted on the wall yet, but we are enjoying its display just sitting atop a credenza leaning against the wall. If I have anything negative to report it is the operating instructions which are pretty much non-existent. We have it up and running and have added a couple of playlists, but that was mostly trial and error. I believe that there must have been enough changes and improvements over the past couple of years to render many of the online reviews/tutorials obsolete. Many of the step-by-step tips on YouTube reference features that (as far as I can tell) no longer exist. I don't mind experimenting a bit (because I have the time to do so - retired and staying at home because of Covid). If there is an online manual or guide to tell me about Playlists: How to Create a Playlist, How to Delete one, how to Edit one, pls let me know where I can find it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Above and Beyond I've struggled with a wall that I wanted to put something meaningful up on, so I was originally most excited about having access to "Works of Art" that I could test out. And Yes, I really liked it... then my son started uploading cell phone picks and they looked terrific including short videos. Now I've been adding my own pics / vids and... WOW I'm sooo happy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing Meural The meural is an incredible piece of art technology that should be a part of everyone’s home. The flexibility and ease of use this product provides is great. I am not tech-saavy and it was easy for me to set up. I hung mine vertically but you can hang it horizontally if you prefer. I love that it comes preloaded with over 40 images and that you can upload anything you would like to it as well. At some point I will upload images from pictures we have taken in the past. One of my favorite features is that you can schedule different images to cycle through so that you can view different photos everyday. Now I do not have to go and shop for different art and rehang new pictures every few months on my wall. I changed my meural for the holidays which was so convenient! There is also an additional meural membership that you can take advantage of to be able to get over 30,000 pieces of art. I didn’t join because I like the preset options and that I can upload pictures but maybe with time I will buy it so I can have more variety. The digital quality is excellent, with some art you cannot even tell it is digital. All in all, this is a really neat piece of technology for any home. You can set it to match any type of design style you like. I highly recommend this!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It's decent App is really clunky, slow. Seems to ask for overly broad photos permissions when other apps don't need to do this. Having a really hard time getting the unit to use WiFi after originally setting it up for ethernet.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from physically great, software is very disappointing I've had nothing but issues with this since i got it. i have a bunch of pictures that their app won't let me upload(even though they are compatible as per the documentation), and even more that WILL but won't display. I'm really disappointed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it. Love the meural, whatever photo you have on it, they will look fantastic whether it’s family photos or art it will look great at any angle. The included brackets for hanging works well, you can turn the frame to landscape or portrait for photos that are displayed. Uploading photos to view is very easy with the app for the meural. Photos you upload to view are resized to fit perfectly for viewing. Gestures work fluently wave your hand at bottom of frame left, right and up or down for different options. You can have a different playlist we have set up many playlists; Nature, Landscape photos, Animal photos, Abstract Art, Waterfalls, Art in Motion, etc. Art in motion is fun to have on your meural, it’s just like it sounds art that has motion. The frame is well made and matting make your photos pop, the backlight for displaying photos is perfect displays photos that don’t look like they are on a computer screen displays photo more natural and realistic. If you have a wall that you just don’t know what art you want on it like I had this took care of that. It’s a little pricey, but it’s one those items that is worth it and looks good on my wall.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Magical Frame On The Wall This photo frame is really cool and has a very clear picture. It’s very colorful and vibrant. It allows you to connect with an app on your phone and upload personal photos and control the frame. Once I got it hung up it was pretty easy to connect to an upload photos. I really didn’t like the way it attached to the wall because I could only get one screw in the stud in the other one had to go on the drywall. Also the power cord runs up the wall and I don’t have a way to hide it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great picture, but limited As a platform for viewing digital art curated and delivered by Netgear, this is quite impressive. If you're looking for something to easily display your own pictures, you'll need to put some work into it. The screen is very nice. Great color and contrast, and a very clear picture. On some of the artwork served up, you can almost feel the brushstrokes or the texture of the canvas in the images. The brightness can be set to adjust to the ambient brightness of the room, so it's not overly bright. Note, though, that the screen is HD resolution 1920x1080, not 4K/UHD, so if you're up close you'll see pixels. I was disappointed with the limited ability to show my own pictures. It can be done through the Meural app or web service, and you are given an initial 4GB of space to upload pictures into. Here's where it becomes a pain. The software has no integration with Google Photos, Facebook, or any other online services where you might typically keep your photos. Instead, you have to download the pictures, then re-upload them to an album in your Meural account, edited to fit a landscape or portrait orientation, then send the album to your Meural Canvas. It's a finicky process, and sometimes the changes I make to the album don't get reflected to the canvas itself - I end up repeatedly hitting "send" until it does. The device has a gesture control, detecting hand movements left, right, up and down. I probably need to practice these a little more because I often just end up using the remote control in the app. The frame is quite thick and stands a fair way off the wall. I would have liked it to be thinner, but it doesn't look out of place with other large picture frames. The plastic matte board surround seems a bit out of place on an otherwise high quality product, but isn't noticeable unless you go poking at it. Installation is easy - the mounting bracket has a built in spirit level to make life easier, and the canvas can be easily swapped between portrait and landscape modes. Adding the app to my phone and pointing it at the QR code on the canvas to register the device was easy. Overall, it's nice, but it's limited by the software, and as a software engineer, that frustrates me. I'd love to be able to point it at a shared social media photo album and have the canvas display photos from that, but you can't. They have an extensive library of image collections you can display - some are free, many are subscription only, and several appear to be optional additional purchases. They seem to have put in most of the effort here, making a digital art delivery platform, rather than a digital photo frame, but there's no reason why it can't be both.

The protective screen is more reflective than anticipated but with little hands (children) in our home, I’m sure it will provide the protection needed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The perfect gift A perfect addition to the living room. With multiple brightness levels we were able to choose the best for our taste. If I had to pick one thing that isn’t perfect it would be the plug. If you want to recess it behind the picture it will be almost impossible. The plug is sideways to the prongs requiring a double gang hole and even at that the thickness of the plug will stick out to far. Like I said almost impossible... (Just had to get creative). We now love the clean look of the Meural.

I can rotate the pictures. What’s great is I can create a new album on the app when I’m ready to change over. Or I can keep on one picture.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Modern classic I can’t describe how delightful it is for me to look at this gorgeous, digital frame! For people like me, who is heavy into art it’s a miracle. I don’t have a tons of space to hang every picture that I love on my wall, but thanks to this frame I can enjoy every one of them and it makes me feel like I’m at the art gallery sometimes. The size of the frame is big enough to enjoy every detail of the picture, but not overly huge on the wall. It’s not heavy, so I can change the location where I want it to be. So far, I didn’t have any bugs or problems to set it up. Works really great, fast and doesn’t consume too much of WiFi. I love that depends on my mood, I can choose what I want to see at my wall, whenever I feel sentimental I put family pictures and it just warms my heart. I didn’t have problems with the app too. Overall, I think it’s unbelievable. This digital picture frame is everything and can fit it any design, I think I will never come back to simple picture frames after using this modern miracle.

However, it is nearly impossible to understand why Netgear would design the power supply as they did. If you want to mount the frame over the electric supply for the cleanest possible look, please know that this is nearly impossible without extreme measures because it is wildly oversized for the space between the wall and frame. Lunacy.

My mom came over and didn't even know it wasn't a real painting until I changed the photo! The possibilities are endless! You can choose any beloved paintings you want or find new artists to love! Blown away by this product, nothing around like it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great frame but difficult and inadequate support system I love these frames (I have two of them). They display photographs very beautifully. My only complaints are first that support for anything beyond the basics is difficult to find, and after several weeks I still have unanswered questions related to storage, organizing photos,, etc. Second, if you buy a another frame you don't get more storage, even though you've paid the same price for the second frame. This seems ridiculous.
