Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solid case, but the design forces you to re-buy expensive add-on'sThe case is durable and provides great protection, which is why I bought it, but now I am $80 deep in buying additional charging cords and adapters. When I had the Lifeproof Fre for my iPhone 4 I could use most aftermarket charging cables, which are significantly cheaper than the Apple brand cables. Sadly Lifeproof made it so only the Apple charging cable will work with their case. So now I'm spending $20 each for a cable for my office and in my car. I also had an aftermarket adapter for lightning to the old style 19 pin for use with my iHome music system. But once again the Lifeproof case is forcing me to buy another $30 adapter from Apple instead of the $8 adapter I currently have. With shipping for the adapters and cables, and purchasing my lifeproof for $90, this Lifeproof case has cost me around $170. I can't wait until Lifeproof gets some competition so that they will either be forced to improve their value, or I can buy from somebody else who won't drain my wallet.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great case- needs to be more adaptable to chargersVery disappointed that it is not more adaptable to chargers. Got my son a light up charger that not usable because of his $80 case. Yes the Apple charger works, but you have to have car chargers and other chargers. Very upset and disappointed. Was going to order me the purple one and now thinking twice about it

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Life saving and Ocean Proof!I have to give LifeProof a huge Thank You!!!! I purchased a lifeproof fre case for our Mexican vacation and thank god I did. I took a bad fall and sadly dropped my iPhone 6s into the ocean..... 4 DAYS later I was snorkeling and we found it! I ran to grab a bag of rice, thinking it would be a long shot and the phone was probably not going to work, when we removed the LifeProof case the phone was bone dry. We stuck it in the rice but after an hour I couldn't wait any longer, I plugged it in.... Low and behold it started charging! My iPhone 6s is alive and well like nothing ever happened, the case not as much.... I have to say after 4 days of getting knocked around in the ocean the case doesn't look that bad! Thank You LifeProof for making an amazing case that saved my phone!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 3 kids who love phonesI love the fre case. It stands up to my kids. Within a few hours of it being put on my 3yr old decided to wash my phone in the dish water. I immediately took the case off and the phone was dry. I'm not so worried now if they decide to throw it in water!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Protective CaseThis case is great. It's my first time buying a Lifeproof case and I'm impressed. Its very protective and I really like the waterproof factor. The only issues are that there is a small rainbow effect and small bubbles on my home button.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sad about scratchesI love my case except for the fact that I have only had it 3 weeks and the cover scratched so easily. I didn't think an 80$ case would scratch so easily. Please tell me if there is anything I can do. I spent 80$ and I don't want to buy a new case after 3 weeks. I bought the case from AT&T and their return policy is 2 weeks. Please help. Any ideas.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good but not Perfect for 6SI bought this case for my iPhone 6S and have been using it for about a week, here is my humble opinion:Pros: The design is slim and very lightweight, it easily slides into my pockets (women’s pockets at that, ladies, you know what I’m talking about). Also, friends with bulkier cases really like how sleek looking and lightweight mine is while remaining durable. The phone feel secure in the case, and I like that it exceeds military shock standards. All of the buttons such as volume and power work fine. Call quality is still good, everyone can hear me and I can hear them. The speaker works good when watching Netflix or whatever floats your boat. Overall, the case does what it should, protect the phone. My husband likes it so much he was disappointed they don’t make one for his phone, the Galaxy Grand Prime (hint hint Lifeproof).CONS: The case fits pretty good but upon close inspection I noticed a 1 mm gap at the seam near the headphone jack where it doesn’t quite close all the way. The built in screen protector slightly taps against the actual screen, FYI, my husband does not notice the tapping, so maybe I am just being overly critical. However, I believe this is what causes the "muffled" sound others have complained about. If your volume is cranked up all the way the screen protector will SLIGHTLY vibrate against the actual screen. I turned the volume down 2 notches and this problem was resolved, so no real complaints there. The Lifeproof Headphone Adaptor port is too small for the iPhone headphones input plug to fit into the port completely, the input plug sticks out of the Headphone Adaptor port by about 4 mm (hopefully that makes since). Even with this issue, you can still get sound out of the headphones but they come loose really easily (I say just get Bluetooth headphones, problem solved, call it a day).Summary: Even though this case doesn’t fit perfect, it is still a good case. I would not feel safe risking submerging my phone in water for but I feel confident that it is still protected from sweat, spills and maybe an accidental drop in water with quick removal. Overall, I am satisfied and will be keeping it, recommending it, and would buy it again.
