Good, but a bit slippery
I like the case, however, I had bought an Otterbox case about 10 years ago for an Iphone 6s that had a less plasticky feel and was able to prop the phone up on a table or countertop without it slipping. Other than that- a very solid feeling case.

You get what you pay for
I recently upgraded my iPhone that I used an OtterBox case that was awesome. I didn’t want to spend the money on a new case for the new phone so I bought a cheap one, it was horrible. I wanted to return the phone. So, I bought the OtterBox case and now liking the phone. The materials and workmanship are very high quality.

If you have arthritis do not get this phone
You have to press very hard on the buttons for them to work. This phone hurt my fingertips. Also very difficult to return.

OtterBox back cover discrepancy
The OtterBox Fre’ for my 16e IPhone is not made for this phone as far as there are 2 “windows” on back for camera —my phone has one window for camera. This makes the window for my flashlight offset— the flashlight is covered and can not be used because of this. It was pricey—$80+ —and I’m so disappointed. I chose this product thinking it was the best.

I’ve bought Otterbox cases for years. I don’t know what it is but this case feels cheap and not as durable as the less expensive case. I did not like the clear cover for the screen. I’ll stick with my Defender. I returned it no problem.

Disappointed
I always buy OtterBox for my phones and did so when I got the iPhone 16. This is the only time I was disappointed. I find it difficult to press any of the buttons on the case. I have to press them so hard and find I have to do that multiple times to either increase or decrease the volume. There is very little “give” to the buttons. The face cover is the same way - I have to press so hard. I am considering buying another type of cover.

Case is fine. Does its job. The options to choose from as far as colour are horrible. I really dislike my green and gold case but black is also not great.

Built-in Screen Protector
Returned as it came with a built-in screen protector, which have always failed on me in the past. My previous Fre case for my iPhone 12 did not have the built in screen protector, and that was a much better design. I'm disappointed that Otterbox reverted to a previous, inferior design.

Been a Lifeproof customer for a very long time. Was skeptical when it became Otterbox but still bought new cases. This will be the 2nd Lifeproff/Otterbox case I’ve gotten since LifeProof became Otterbox. Bought a new phone which needed a new case so I bought another Lifeproof/Otterbox case. Had a problem w it but true to warranty claims they replaced it for free within a week. Will continue to be an Otterbox customer.

Really wanted to love it, but….
I really wanted to love this case, like my old lifeproof one. It is very similar in style and I got a cute color. The biggest issue I have had is with the screen protector. I have had problems with the touch sensitivity at times and after only a few days of usage, there’s a weird cloudy spot, very tiny, but still noticeable on the screen protector. I never once even had a scratch on my lifeproof one.

I love my case the screen protector is clear as day, I’ve had it for about a month now, still good as new, Its been drop tested from at least 3-4 ft and not a scratch, so far so good, I love it! Seems very durable, even water tested before I put my phone in and not a single drop!

Great for people who boat
When my iPhone 16 came out this case was not available so I bought a cheaper one. The problem with that case was not that it leaked, but that any strap for it had to be attached through the opening where it’s charged. That effectively negated its purpose of being completely waterproof. I was very happy when this case came out and had the attachments on the sides. I purchased a camera case strap which works very well with my new phone case. I’ve gotten a lot of comments on it from other boaters.

Good protection, but compromises camera optics. The case seems to cause blurring and Newton ring artifacts on my iPhone 16's cameras. Would like to have tried it for underwater photos, but did not get the opportunity on my recent vacation.
