Great case
I’ve been buying fre cases for years. The best thing about this is the design for the camera button. I have not accidentally hit it yet but also easy to get to by feel since it’s designed like a cut out. Just wish they would make a version with a privacy screen been asking for that for years.

Fre not as good, dust gets everywhere
Not as good as they used to be. Lifeproof cases used to be the best for construction sites, with multiple options for protection. Now the fre is the only dust proof case and it still manages to get dust under the screen no matter what. Most likely do to the camera button being open. I wish otterbox kept some of the other lifeproof cases not just the original fre.
It sucks because this is the only case with a filter/screen over speakers to keep dust out. But my screen is never clean and dust or hair always manages to make its way under the screen protector.

This is a dang good phone case; definitely worthy of 5 stars. I can still slide my finger on the camera control button and have my phone respond to it. And what’s really great about this case is that you can’t accidentally press the camera control button either due to its design. However, the only bad quality about this case is the little flap on the bottom to allow charging, it’s just not very perpendicular when I am charging; it’s actually bending at a 120 degree angle. Which makes me feel as if it’ll get damaged over time due to the amount of stress being placed on the hinge. Other than that, great case!

Finally - a Fre for the iPhone 16 series.
It was a long wait for the Fre for the iPhone 16 series, due to the need to accommodate the new camera control panel into the case. It was worth the wait as the slider works as well as the native Apple case (which is not waterproof). As with all Fre cases, it is well built, fully water proof and plays nice with mag safe.

A Better version fre
Feels great. Solid construction. Easier to hold. The power plug cap has been upgraded from previous versions and is more flexible and durable. The cameras lens cover has been upgraded and is not easily scratched as in previous versions.

Not worth it
It’s okay… the buttons are very difficult to press and the plastic screen protector looks like an orange peel and is too reflective. Also, when you take it apart the gasket falls out every time and it takes surgical precision to get it back into place… I’m probably going to return my entire order

The all out best case you can buy to protect your phone. I’ve bought them everytime Ive gotten a new phone, they have saved me at least 10 iPhones from floating the river to falling off motorcycles at excessive speeds they have kept my phone safe and looking brand new! I went through 2 cheaper cases and 3 tempered glass screens as I waited for OtterBox to come out with the new case for iPhone 16’s.. I’m as hard on phones as anyone out there!

As good as they used to be?
This case is the best protection you can buy. The screen protector does get a little scratched since it’s plastic but the case is bombproof. I ran one of these over with a 10 ton roller compacting a road and it was just fine after I dug it out of the gravel. I heard they weren’t what they used to be but so far I’m thrilled with this case.

Water proof and excellent phone protection.
Its a nice design and really water proof. The i phone 16 pro camera button is now covered and the screen is protected unlike the defender series but i wish it would have a camera button that's very easy to access and use .overall im happy and satisfied with it.

I have been using lifeproof cases since 2014 & I’ve always swore by them. Now that otterbox bought them this case kinda sucks. It’s bulkier than ones in the past, I can hardly hear people on calls and have to put them on speaker. It’s hard to pull down the notification tab because of the case. It honestly feels like when life proof just started making their cases. This is my least favorite fre case I’ve ever owned. Not to mention within a week of having my brand new phone in this case my bottom left camera broke. Now like I said before I’ve always had my phone in a fre life proof case and NEVER had any issues with dropping my phone and anything breaking. But this case? No. Made it one week. I really wanted to love this case as much as the ones I’ve had in the past but it feels and operates like a cheap knock off.

Not worth the water protection
Very disappointed. Buttons are extremely hard to push. Screen protector had a bad circular scratch within 1 week. I wanted this for the water protection but I would forgo that for an easier to use case with a more durable screen protector.

When I was talking on the phone people complained that it sounded bad like I was in a tunnel the phone is very well protected good to take for occasional use if u will be around water but other that it is not an everyday phone case

Bad Ergonomics Good Protections ... ?
Seems bombproof but the ergonomics are garbage...Very hard to type with this case in place .> That said the gasket seems great and there's a lanyard loop built into both sides of the case... Photo quality def degraded when shooting through this case.
